NFL Sunday Ticket

Almost unusable. I've used Sunday Ticket for the past 4 seasons to watch my hometown games as I've moved out of state for work. The price has increased and the quality of the product has decreased. It's the first week of the season and the application is close to worthless. Every few minutes the stream cuts out with an error and I have to reboot it to play. Completely unacceptable. $300 to watch an eighth of a game. It's basically just a donation to Sunday Ticket. Extremely unhappy.

Garbage. Connection issues throughout all devices. Roku had the best reliability. I can't run the app on my Samsung S8; WiFi, or cellular. If you sign into a PlayStation and log out, or can't log out, you can't sign in to any device. They have no answer to this, for YEARS now. Because, who would want to be able to log out devices remotely? For a service you pay a massive amount for, I'm honestly flabbergasted at the incompetence. If the game is available on any other channel's app, use that.

The worst. There are ALWAYS issues every time I try to use the app on any of my devices. All kinds of error messages, choppy video feed (even with a solid, fast network connection), sometimes logs me out for no reason, and so much more. I also hate that there is not a "sign out everywhere" feature considering the rule of single device streaming. I have to chase around my devices between work and home to log them out. Just riddled with problems constantly. Just the worst.

This would be great if it didn't drop the programming every 5 minutes (yes literally every 5 minutes or less) and you have to log out then log back in and find your game again. Especially considering how much it costs!!!! This just keeps getting worse and worse! Paid $100 for this stupid service and it never works!!! How ridiculous is this! The sound disappears, the app just shuts down & has to be restarted or they tell you they're working on a problem to try again later, LATER?!? THIS IS LIVE!!

This app works fine when you can actually login. Being limited to 1 stream causes problems if you like to use different devices, because you must remember to logout of a device before you can login on another. Why it doesn't log you out automatically when signing into a different device is beyond me. AT&T has known about this issue for years but they still haven't addressed it, probably because they have a monopoly on the NFL and they face no competition to improve their apps/services.

Tons of bugs, multiple screen layout wastes space, and I keep getting notifications of scores for the game I'm watching before the play happens on screen. The app will only rotate one direction for full screen, and for some reason I get an ad while waiting for content to load like I didn't pay a few hundred dollars for the privilege of trying to figure out this terrible UI.

Only way I can actually use my subscription and watch my team from out of market. Year after year this is the worst performing streaming app I use. This year's variety causes the cast option to zoom in on the TV randomly. A clear indicator of having a monopoly on the product (NFL football) and not having any real reason to manage and improve the service.

App crashes about once every ten minutes while streaming games. Volume control is all over the place. You have to adjust the broadcast volume every few seconds to keep it at a constant as it will go back to the default setting every time your phone does literally anything (lock screen, receive a notification, etc) which is unbearable when trying to cast to a tv from phone.

Updating from 2 starts to 1. I still can't every get the games to play on my phone, yet I have no problem watching live TV in other apps... Good in theory I guess, but I have remember log in selected and it never reminders my log in, and I've only actually been able to watch a game one time; otherwise it shows my game is selected but the video never starts. The highlight videos work fine. Really frustrating.

Streaming reliability and quality are really sub par. We stream movies and shows on a daily basis. The quality of the video, if it loads at all, is pixelated and messy. I would take the pixelated video if I could reliably connect to each game. That, however, is wishful thinking since I have yet to have a Sunday where I can pick the game I'd like to watch, connect to it and watch it in it's entirety. Pretty glaring faults for an app that is specifically designed to accomplish those tasks.

Looks pretty but it won't fuction on my Chromebook. Looks pretty on my Samsung TV app also but no mix view at all. It would be really nice to view 2 games at once. It would be even nicer if that could be done on DirecTV instead of the 4 mix games that they choose. Just another "cutting edge technology" from AT&T/DirecTV. Hoping that the NFL will find a new provider for their games.

App was down for 3 quarters of the game i wanted to watch. When the app did work it was constantly stopping with an error. I have high speed internet and every other streaming app runs flawlessly. The app finally stopped running all together and was saying i was signed in elsewhere. I signed out of every device re-installed the app nothing worked. Very frustrating especially for the price of service.

This is garbage. Completely useless. Developers spent no time creating a feasable and friendly design. Chromecast support does not work. Most videos, if they manage to load, display upside down. All is slow and clunky. If you're going to pay the extra money for the NFL ticket DO NOT expect to be able to watch your games easily.

CONSTANT pauses, jumps, and severe drops in resolution. Mobile & TV, cellular, wifi, & wired. 5 second freezes every few minutes. Sometimes it restarts where it froze, other times it skips ahead and you just missed everything that happened while it was buffering. Unacceptable after the first week or two. UI hasn't been updated in a long time. "Loading screen" is just an excuse for an ad when you could just load immediately and have ads elsewhere in the app. Pathetic for expensive paid service

This app is awful. I have perfect internet and any other streaming service works just fine. Just not this one. All it has to do is work once a week. However, the app always fails and has a blurry picture for short time it does work. If Netflix, Hulu, Spectrum, and CBS apps can work while the hell can't the NFL Sunday ticket app work.

Awful. Every time I try to use this app it crashes. Most of the time the games never load and I get an error screen. Even if a game loads it eventually cuts out after about 4 minutes of being up. I don't understand why the price of Sunday ticket is so expensive if you can't even watch it. This app is one of the worst apps I have ever used. It doesn't even deserve the measly one star I was forced to give it.

Absolutely terrible app. Won't load most of the time on both my galaxy note 8 and iPhone 7 plus. When it finally loads, I usually get a "cannot stream at this time" error, so I miss all the games. When, by some miracle, I do get to watch a game the video quality constantly changes from good quality to "so pixelated I can't tell what kind of show I'm watching". Same issues with the Sunday Ticket app on our new Smart TV at home. This app is a waste of space, don't bother.

"We are having trouble playing this video. Please try again later." Displays on all games EXCEPT ONE?? The few times a year I need to use the app since I am away from my TV, and I get this message for the whole game. The game is on right now, trying again later won't help me. Pointless to even have the app. It's almost as bad as the regular DirecTV app that won't let me watch a nationally televised game on a major network that is in my package. The point of the app is watch my TV while not home.

Terrible app. Trying to chromecast to my TV, it disconnects constantly. Disconnects when I get texts, if my phone goes to sleep, and randomly when it feels like it. When connecting back to the tv, it defaults the volume to a level that is way too high for my tv. Making phone calls is impossible as it turns the tv volume to 100. Also tells me it cant find my account info multiple times before it finally let's me sign in. disconnected while writing this review. Canceled before end of free trial.

Absolute garbage. Do not purchase. I just purchased today (09/15) and regret it big-time! No sound when watching on PC/tablet. If watching on phone casting to TV, it freezes and it says they will resolve asap. Tried closing PC to open back up on phone but I get the msg that I am logged on on another device. These errors do NOT happen during commercials. Clearly want people to end up getting satellite service out of frustration. Do not purchase.

well worth it. functions seamlessly across devices - I have quickly transitioned between a Microsoft surface, an Android phone, and Sony TVs in the middle of games with no effort and without missing a play. the game recaps are also awesome, even though they are only available for games on Sunday Ticket. living outside the local market for my team, Sunday ticket has been indispensable.

I've been a Sunday Ticket subscriber for five years, and the service has been mediocre the whole time. Here are *some* of the issues: video stops often when casting (some weeks as often as every 5-10 minutes); authentication sometimes breaks (service stops working on one device but you can't log in anywhere else); app inserts an ad on startup despite the high cost of the service (there's no way this app really needs all that time to start up); every time my phone wakes up, the volume adjusts (can fix this by swiping out the app, but then you have to get past that long startup every time you want to change what you're watching); and the video quality is just so-so. I sometimes use the Samsung TV app instead, which on some weeks is better but still not good. It's a shame that the NFL would entrust its brand exclusively to this shoddy service. The actual content is great, and the app has some features that would be great if they worked better. But of the dozen or so streaming services I use regularly, Sunday Ticket is by far the least reliable.

It's so much better than before. Really appreciate the ability to show more than one game at a time. One HUGE complaint though: Do NOT show alerts for the game you're currently watching. It's frustrating to see that there was a touchdown while you're watching them line up for that very play. Ruins the drama to see an alert 5 seconds before seeing it. It's a simple software feature to implement. Please do it before next season. People all over Twitter hate it too.

A necessary evil for an NFL fan. The video quality is poor at best. I have a great internet connection, and compared to streams from YouTubeTV, the games look blurry. The games are also on a large delay. Do not look at your phone unless you like spoilers! They have not fixed a bug that has been around for half a decade. When you cast to a Chromecast, the volume is dictated by the media volume on your phone and not the cast volume. I pray that DirectTV loses the rights to Sunday Ticket.

Great app except...when i get a call while streaming the volume on my tv goes to a deafening 100! The sound options that are not there should be. Then there is the fact i have to watch the local games on my phone because im not home during the game but it is blacked out. That is the whole dang point to this "mobile" solution. Other than those major points the stream is always almost perfect.

Terrible, would give 0 if I could. App continues to give log in error. Have contacted support and they mentioned that many users reported the same error and are working on it, but 3 weeks and still unable to watch. Also, support indicated they would note my account, but have failed to so, causing longer and unhelpful support the next call. Cancelling and never looking back.

Please fix the cast feature. Worked fine in previous years. Now every 10 mins or so, the live stream gets kicked off with error code 3203-1. This happens when casting from any device and choosing any game, Redzone channel or Fantasy zone. This is 2 weeks straight. I had to dig out an old PS3 to get the games on the tv. I didnt spend $300 to watch it on a Samsung Note 8 screen. Stop messing with something that works. These new problems started with the app update from Sept 5. Just roll it back.
