Ohio Lottery

This app is awesome! You can easily scan your tickets to see if they are winners, instead of wasting your time at the store for losing tickets! But my favorite part of the app is when I scan a ticket and it's a loser, it will give me points. You can then use your points to enter into sweepstakes! I have not won anything as of yet but it's simple to use. The points are for the amount you spent on the ticket, but it only gives you points for tickets that are NOT winners.

Quit working. It was working great when I installed it awhile back. Then several weeks ago it started locking up every time I tried to put my points in for a drawing. This week it won't let you scan tickets, the drawing jackpots won't update, and the website won't even load. Not sure what the deal is, but they need to get on it. Update: app has been acting fine since then.

This app used to be awesome and you at least could pick out things from the catalog with your loser ticket points... now that they took that away, this app is worthless. I saved up pts for 2 yrs to actually get a gift card from the catalog.. now it's gone.

There is no catalog for gift cards like explained in the website. I believe this is rigged. I'm ready to contact a lawyer. I have almost 400 dollars in points on my cash explosion app and can't spend them on nothing but some stupid retorical chances on a drawing for items no on ever wins. I've spent thousands on these drawings and have never won. I truly believe the Ohio lottery is a scam. If I won an ink pen, or pencil, I would've been grateful just for the chance to be picked to win something.

Never has scratch off lottery cash/coupons I have been checking for weeks and scratch offs are never available. My 1st review was Dec it's now turning to April and I still haven't had the opportunity to purchase scratch off lottery cash. And my friend's and I have never actually won any prizes playing the games. Please make scratch off lottery cash available.. please

I cant get the app to load or to let me scan in my tickets.. Nothing loads, it just dont work! I am more then disappointed with the app and whatever it is that you guys have done to it!!!

Love the app after the cdc 19 happen they start letting people do it on the app and scan it and even cash it in on the phone but I will say it does need alot of updates and it reall slow most of the time it doest work 97 precent of the time but when it does work reall easey and a great app it just need to work or the ohio Lottoe common or who does it need it fix the app and it would be a great app

The app CONSTANTLY stops working and I have to force stop it in settings then restart it. Not even 2 minutes it'll freeze. Needs an update definitely!! 🙏🏻

Comprehensive in information and gaming opportunities with only a few minor hitches - rewards catalog has only limited availability and probability info pages for individividual scratch-off games is somewhat sluggish, but overall, very useful.

Working good! There are no ads for anything that is not lottery related. Allows you to customize the notifications you receive. Would be nice if it would notify you when lottery cash or the digital catalog items become available. Since it is so hard to ever find them and they are only released on seemingly random schedule.

Junk!! So sick of them not doing anything about the problems. Everytime lottery cash is put up I get ripped off at least once- purchase, error, takes points, doesn't give the lottery cash. And they do nothing about it. They never reply to the emails when you tell them and ask them to make it right. One day I lost one 7000 points because of this. They take your money once when you lose and again when you try to use your points. Junk!!

Having trouble redeeming my lottery ticket coupon that you can get tickets with point switch very disappointed and frustrated can't get my points nor my prize that I purchased I spent a lot of money on tickets and it's nice to be able to get the points but what's the point if you can't get what you uses the points for

Ok I'm buying tickets watching the clerk scan and activate them. Then when I scan them they come up as not activated. I have two entry tickets I can't submit because of this....

App updated yesterday now they say my name and ss# cannot be verified as to marching. No problems less than a week ago when I cashed out a winning ticket. Would have gave a 5 last week as to no problems until update.

I'll just say this ..... It's all a hook line sinker to get ur cash.... I personally laugh because it's blatantly obvious that the computer algarithim that they use bounces around numbers and avoids hits in keno and don't get me started on Ezplay. Why is it, every time I want to submit my tickets for points it makes me sign back in. 🙃 it's inconvenient, makes adding points difficult and no fun.

Pretty good app all in all.. I have had a few issues with the scanner not working properly but I usually just have to restart the app and it works fine again. If it wasnt for that i would have rated it 5 stars. Its much faster than having to punch in all the numbers manually for losing tickets to get the points though so its definitly worth downloading!👍🏼✌🏼

It is a wonderful Ohio Lottery App. It is easy to understand.

I used this app regularly in the past without any issues. As long as my phone had service, I could use this app. That stopped suddenly more than a year ago! This app does not work for me unless WiFi is available...(I've tried several times since with the same result.)And yes, I checked my phone's settings... nothing changes. What am I doing wrong? Have I neglected to remember reading anything regarding WiFi in the app's description? A response is greatly appreciated.

I downloaded this to scan my tickets and check them on the fly. The scan function does not work. I just keep getting an error or it switches back to taking a picture. I've scanned the barcode at least a dozen times. It won't load current/past winning numbers, looks like it's just not connecting to their servers. I loved the app in Texas. It worked on all tickets and scratchers. This OH app is trash. Edit: 22 October 2019 and this POS app still doesn't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled too.

I downloaded the app and I tried to scan my first ticket and it froze up. Had to restart my phone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times and it froze up every time. Had to restart my phone every time. Come on Ohio lottery, look at the reviews, do you see any positive review's? Get it together. With all the technology out there today you would think this app would run smoothly. Very disappointed.

The Ohio Lottery app is very glitchy. Half the time when you scan a barcode it doesn't do anything and the app freezes up A LOT on all of my devices. Also the Rolling Cash 5 coupon does not work. I hope you update the app soon and can get it right. Also it would be nice if you didn't have to keep signing in every time you close out of the app or minimize it and go back to it. This is a major inconvenience.

There's many reviews of people having troubles scanning their tickets but I've personally never had that problem, it recognizes my ticket right away. I was actually surprised at how quickly it scanned. It's a bummer to not have won anything yet though because the drawings are quite expensive! 30 points for one entry& $1 tickets are 1 point, $5 5 points and so on. Also I would like to be able to give my email address for my contact info if I ever did win! I don't have a phone #. Please do this!!

Scanner broken after last update Feb 2022. Also nearly 100 Megs for such a simple program is stupidity, especially when it doesn't work. You dummys always break more than you fix. 🤦🤷

Had same email address for years and all of sudden get a message saying invalid email format.I installed the app and reinstalled it same problem.

This app can use your camera to scan lottery tickets and tell you if they are a winning or losing ticket. You need to enable permissions for it to do so. Make sure though that you always allow the app to send you notifications also. The problem is if you don't turn off permissions when done checking your tickets, you will almost certainly get a notification that this app has been detected using camera in the background.

Doesn't have all of the info the website does, but I like being able to scan my tickets.

v7.4.2 will not accept my name and social security number. The previous version accepted it. Now I can't cash out tickets on the app.

Scanner doesn't work but the rest of app seems cool.
