No stars for this app. No autos get booked, nothing. I have to start booking 1 hour prior to the time I have to leave my house and still I don't get any auto or a cab. They cancel it everytime. This app is the worst. It says get autos at your doorstep. When you can't fulfil what you are saying, don't attract the customers with it. It keeps on contacting the drivers, the system is very very slow in a city like Delhi which is very busy.
Earlier it was great app for travelling. But now my experience is very bad with OLA. We used it many times for outstation travel. But now we are facing the problem of randomly increase in fare after compliting the ride. We never changed our destination and also nor change the route. But our final bill was too much differ from the booking amount. Even if you want to ask question about your bill there is no option available. It was a pathetic experience with ola nowadays. It's better to use uber.
Having absolutely horrible experience with Ola since the past few weeks. Drivers want cash only and keep cancelling. There is no option to pay with cash on the app. It's a deadlock rendering the app absolutely useless. Aditionally there is no option to complain about anything on the app. The given options never work, and there is always an error. To top it all, Ola is much costlier compared to its competition. All this is just the tip of the iceberg. horrible app.
I'm usually ok with Ola other than their cancellation fees. My partner had ordered a ride but because the driver wasn't moving, we cancelled it. We were charged with the $ 10 cancellation fee even though the driver was not anywhere near there. Tried getting Ola supports help but they were not very helpful in the matter saying that he was moving to us even when he was not. This was not the first time this has happened either. Quite displeased by the service.
Writing this review because of the same issue that i had faced more than 2 times... The time we book the cab, the details are provided and the driver reaches on time... But once we enter the cab, the app shows searching for new drive. But this time the cost is way more than the initial cost, not just that the new cab gets booked automatically.. This is very disappointing...
It takes around 2-3 cancelations and more than 30 mins of waiting to finally get a ride to the destination everytime. The drivers are completely careless. They keep talking on the phone and doesn't even turn on the AC even after being told to do so. Along witht his the app cannot find a single cab at prime hours in one of the busiest place of the city. Need improvements.
Can't pay by Card after ending trip. Please tell me why I have to make payment in cases where driver can't/didn't drop me correctly. Seems like I have to go after payment back in those cases. Toll charges have to be paid extra in cash to the driver while other aggregators add that to the charges. A lot of variables to consider to book a simple ride.
I was in a hurry while booking the cab, did not notice that the app had selected the payment option as ola money. I had no idea about it, as i had never selected this option. Unfortunately i paid the driver some cash and now i have been charged again. I have raised tickets thrice and they have not addressed my issue. They do not have any customer care numbers, where we can talk and address this issue. Now, they are charging extra for late payment.
Abysmal service. If I could give 0 stars I would. The app constantly glitches, either I'm not able to book or I'm not able to pay on UPI leaving me to scramble for other means of payment. Drivers never want to come without asking for the destination and if they don't feel like going the distance, they simply cancel. One time I had to book more than 6 times. Please fix the glitches and run background checks on your drivers.
As of late I've constantly been cancelled on. I'd get an auto, they'd even be okay with the destination, but the second they end that call it says your driver had to cancel. This has happened multiple times ,once it happened over ten times. Don't know if it's the glitch of the app or it's really just the auto drivers. Don't need this kind of anxiety when travelling early in the morning. DO BETTER OLA.
I face lots of bugs in this app. Sometimes it gets freeze which I don't face with the other apps such as uber, rapido. So please fix it asap. Also drivers are used to cancel trips if the destination is far away from their own local range. Literally they don't value customers' time, patience and all which seems they do it just for timepass, nothing else.
Cant rate drivers - the option doesnt appear for me and defaults to a zero star rating (i guess?) and it cant be changed when tapped on. Also the excess cancellations and delay. There was a time both the driver and I were right next to each other but Ola said otherwise, call option wasnt working, and license plates didnt match. Worst is when my ride is assigned (after a long wait) and I dont know about it, so I book a second ride. But when it's going good, it's going great. A love-hate thing.
Terrible experience with the Ola App. Drivers only want cash, and since there is no longer any option to pay by cash on the app, they cancel the ride. Some of them are so rude, they just ask you to get off immediately and stop the ride a good distance away, which obviously you are charged for. The "Support" option on the app is glitchy and always shows an error. Very frustrating experience. On top of all these, ola rides are significantly more expensive than others!
Update: My issue was resolved successfully and Ola refunded the right amount. Hope you keep it up and not let similar issue happen again. Issue: On 27/4 I booked a ride to airport and although on the app it shows the estimated price total is about $10-11, it ended up over $40! That's ridiculous. The ride time fare is even higher than distance fare and charges double the time it takes (I was charged for 47 mins while the whole trip including waiting is 20 mins).
Absolutely pathetic grievance redressal system. The call option either doesn't appear, or the call gets disconnected instantly, or the language selection doesn't work no matter how many times you try. The write option is of no use either as it's a completely circular system with no way for you to explain your issue. They add excess fare at the end of the trip without informing. Daylight robbers.
I have always had a very bad experience with the Ola app. Their fares are flaky and can grow double DURING the ride. Their customer service is nonexistent. The drivers are irresponsible and so are the people operating the app. You would always have to fight for the cancellation fees when their drivers cancel the ride. It feels like theft when you cannot book the next ride without paying a cancellation fee for the ride you didn't cancel.
Out of 10 attempts I could speak to your customer care only twice but both the times the connection went blank after a few minutes of discussion. Pathetic customer support. It's like trying to connect with someone in Mars. I have been wrongly charged for waiting. There is no option for this nature of complaint in their support service or to send email to them.
The app is fine, and the drivers are good, but it is really hard to get a ride. Drivers constantly cancel or drive away from you until you do. Even in big cities. Very frustrating when you have low battery on your phone. Something about the system needs to change so drivers don't feel the need to cancel all the time...
You must check the log of the drivers especially in Guwahati. They accept the booking and stay at the same place. When we call they always ask the destination first. And if they don't want to go that particular destination, they would just stay put. They don't even cancel the rides because they get refund for delay from customer's end. I had been recently charged twice baseless because I had cancelled since the driver wasn'tready to go that particular destination. Ola you need to look at this!
Too many ads and promotional offers flooding my phone. No way to block. Hence uninstalled the app. Nothing much to elaborate. I want to use the cab service when I need. Don't want to waste time on the ads etc and cleaning up my phone. I DON'T WANT ANY ADS OR PROMOTIONAL OFFERS ETC. BUT THERE IS NO OPTION TO BLOCK THESE. PLEASE SOLVE THIS ISSUE.
Abysmal customer care infrastructure. The app tries to control your complains. You can't reach out to them at all. I have been getting outstanding charges again and again for the same ride for which I have paid cash to the driver. I can't book the next cab(even in emergency) unless that charge is paid by me. Neat trick by the company to trick it's users to pay double. This has been happening again and again. This is a cheap company !!!!!
Ola S1 pro cancellation issue, my payment is got stucked during payment window open for transaction. Now it's showing "hang tight, your payment is under processing. It's been 4 month's gone. The same error reflecting over there. Even I can't cancel my order, even so many reminders on email to the company. They're not given a single solution. My 499 is totally gone if they'll not resolve this issue.
I used to get cabs and autos easily on the app. But all of a sudden I'm not able to book autos, despite a wait of close to 1 hour. The reason for the same is unknown and I cannot stress enough on the insane surge prices. Ola promotes in-app payments but when I choose them I don't seem to find rides, not like I can find them even when I choose cash. Ola has become a joke. No reliability and no transparency WHATSOEVER. I would not recommend this horrible app to anyone. Very Disappointed.
