I new there would be a charge but I did not think it would be £28 for 28 days that is a lot when they do not tell you until you have signed up. But they do tell you after you have signed up that its free for 3 days but they do not tell you how you can cancel your sign up the quick look at the choice of films is mostly is the old B movies but I did not have a thorough search as I was trying to find out how to cancel, so I came onto this sight but I am still looking. Just one star for not making it easy to cancel.
This app to have all the old movies that you can possibly watch. Black and white, color silent movies they have. And doesn't cost you a dime at all to use it it's a free app you don't need to have Wi-Fi to have this you just have to have enough data in your device to use the app and 5 GB of data is just not enough for anybody so plan to have at least 10 gigs or unlimited to have anything or use any type of app here on a game a movie or anything
Really wanted this to work. Takes for ever to load the Dev knows this by displaying deferent types of "Almost Done". When it does finish I get nothing in the lists, just the headings. Using version 1.15.08 on Android 12.
Update 02/2022: With the recent addition of a caption option, this app is now perfect. Nice selection of vintage movies. Streams well on Chromecast and doesn't charge to cast as so many other streaming apps do. Ads are in the beginning of the movie only, so content isn't interrupted. My only request would be to add a caption option. As a senior who has become dependent on supplementing audio with subtitles, I'm sure that others of my generation would appreciate it as well.
At last, a video app for old movies that has everything I've been looking for! It offers me great silent films like "The Gold Rush," and "Metropolis," through the transition to sound and color films like "State Fair" and "Ensign Pulver." Navigation features like genres: Action to Westerns. Included are My Movies, Latest, and Search. It used to not BUG users for Reviews... I had to deduct a Star for annoying me... we'll see if they keep doing so.
The movies selection is good but I gave it a three stars because there is advertising you can't by pass and just go to the movies. Then I had to sign in and out to see the movie list and choose a movie.
Great app for the money! There are many great movies on here. App works great. I haven't run into an issue in the six months I've been using it. Easy to navigate and use. Love the app!

Great app with lots of movie choices. I really like this app so I purchased the pro version. It works great and casts with no problem to my chromecast. UPDATE: 06 Dec 21: I have purchased a new Chromecast version 3.0 with 4K and now this app, "Old Movies", installs directly onto the Chromecast 4k. The phone app plays on my phone and tablet but I have to use the Google Chromecast app to run the app on my TV.
I'm happy with old movies as some that's I never born the year early so old comedy to make me laugh!! But some of it have lost subtitles as well!
Really enjoy! Ease of use is excellent. Now, you can even see related titles to the movie you have chosen to view to give you an idea of what to watch next!
Love the old movies. This is a great app to access a wide variety of them. I've have encountered no problems with the app over the past year I have used it. Highly recommend this app for the oldies.
A ONE TIME payment of $12.99 to be able to watch Classic movies for the rest of your life and NEVER have to PAY AGAIN???!! Holy sh@$t!! No company in the world can make that claim or OFFER! (Well, maybe, but it'll cost a hell of a lot more than $12.99...like THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MORE!!!) I'm like totally blown away by this!! Who can't afford $12.99 for a LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION??? WOW!!!
I Love being able to watch so many of my favorite movies whenever I want! There's a fantastic selection and there are constantly new ones being added. Great app!

Some old great movies you can't get elsewhere. If Google says it's unavailable for streaming, check here! They just put up the original Nightmare Alley. Google says you have to pay to see it. Its FREE here!Commercials aren't during the movie. Only at the beginning...Good deal for free!
I enjoy the convenience of watching old movies that I had saved and collected ( in some cases) all here! Many genres, tho a bit heavy on westerns, overall pretty well rounded group of films almost everyone can find something they enjoy here. If you like old movies, this is the place for free, nicely selected old flicks! I hope some of you also enjoy this app! This app has gotten me thru many a sleepless night! Because of this, I may be prejudiced and apologize. Trying to be honest! Enjoy!
So far so good. I got the app yesterday and watched one movie later on, all went well and I assume it's a good app. May do a proper review next time around, but good work team.
Simply is a good solid, connection to many films that are are wrongly long forgotten, or should be seen to teach why they are forgotten.
Wonderful! There are a few apps like this which everyone should have on their device. I just wish there was a way to do a short-term download. Leave the commercials in or even add a few more. I have been taking my Pops to Chemo Treatments and hospital internet is too expensive and this is great escape anytime my computer illiterate Mom (just about 90) can watch along
The app works well. Would like to see more movies from the 1960's. So far have watched about six movies from the app.
Great app I'm not a film buff but I like a wide selection from silent to modern sci-fi and non English speaking films so I can get a bit of my fix for movies on here.
I've been enjoying this immensely! So many movies you never see anywhere else, even on Turner. Such a great change from the violent movies of today.
Mixed feelings about this app. It works fine on my Chromecast with Google TV. On my Sony Bravia smart TV it installed but did not show any movies listed, just kept telling me to install the app on my phone. When I installed the app on my phone, it crashed saying it had a problem accessing the data. Uninstalled from everything except the Chromecast.
