I trialed everything I could find to monitor my hikvision and they all failed miserably in various areas. I installed onvier I fully expected to experience the same dissapointment. I wish I had installed this first, it just works, perfect picture, clear interface, simple to use. Honestly this app leaves all the others in its it's wake. Well worth installing - well done onvier !
Unbelievably great! Within 15 minutes, I installed the app, connected to 7 Meraki security cameras (MV12 and MV72) over RTSP, monitored each individually, and created a multi-view. No doubt, had to purchase it. Can't believe it was only $4.99 US. I would gladly have paid $20. In fact, it's so good, I purchased the Windows desktop version as well.
No operation/setup manual or options list. Have Pro version. Sometimes camera view goes into 360° continuous rotation. How do you save presets file or storage location? During heavy use, some combination of finger pokes CLEARS ALL PRESETS at once, and no preset backup file available to reload. Must manually re-enter every single preset! Allow printing settings + presets. Need LINUX version for laptop. Allow moving control overlay, on single screen, or between screens. Adjustable sizing.
FULL EDIT - May 2022 - Completely happy with the response from the developers of this app. I cannot fault their help and assistance. 1st Calss. I must point something out though..... I had this app when i had my Floureon cameras installed and never had issues. When i changed my Floureons to Reolink & Ctronics i started to have bad issues. I thought it was this app but because i had so many issues i returned my Reolink and Ctronics and re-installed my old Floureon setup for my IP cameras and everything is doing what it should. So whether you take this onboard or not i think older technology seems to work better than these new IP cameras. Don't judge like i did and thought it was the app when i was thinking "It can't be my new cameras" My old Floureon 2.4Ghz work better than the new 5Ghz WIFI IP Cameras from Reolink & Ctronics. I purchased the Pro version a long time ago and the extra features are great. Just the red recording timer text is hard to see being colour blind. Maybe change it to something brighter. Bright blue or bright yellow is good for colour blindness :-)
I paid for the pro version to use with Summple S610 PTZ camera and the PTZ controls DO NOT work... neither does the swipe function .. be wary of buying this for the PTZ controls...there are free apps available that are better for just viewing...... in response to your reply I have emailed the debug log ... I hope you can sort this or refund ..many thanks for replying
I tried several other apps with my unusual setup. Nothing was working until I got Onvier. Now its on all my devices. A little cumbersome to setup but rock solid afterwards. Pay the extra for pro.
A great app that supports multiple CCTV manufacturers, make and models. What I like most about this app is debugging event logs that are accessible to go through from within the app even in the free version.
I upgrade to 3 stars as I got an answer to my statement that I can't find the setting for alarms. There is no alarms in the software. However, I still need a motion alarm which is the reason I bought the cameras. I need to know if anybody enter my property when I am not there. The app can run in the background of my phone if needed and also save the event on my phone, the camera memory card or in the cloud. I have no problem to pay extra for services that works.
Great app. I had problems setting up WAN access with more than one local camera as instructions detailed. The instructions provided in the app is very useful and accurate for my router. I had to disable my phone wifi so the phone would use the cellphone provider's ip address. Then adding WAN camera access worked properly. (Could add this to WAN configuration instructions optionally or did I miss this step?) Great app.
Finally... it actually finds the cameras AND keeps track of the ones you have setup already. This may seem trivial until you have 20 cameras.
Used the app previously and it was ok back then (4 years ago). Recently tried it again and the has been a massive improvement, really great app now, especially if you're using a mix of ONVIF cameras. Update: app has some irritating performance issues, hangs and not responsive on a Samsung s22.
Incredibly useful for setting up security cameras. So easy to use and wants to work with minimal fiddling.
Easy to setup. I've several different ipcams, no two the same. It only took me 30 minutes to set tjem up!
This app has excellent ONVIF support for my cheap 5MP inqmegapro webcam. PTZ and two way audio supported through outgoing audio URL works great! No other app I've seen has this feature. Terrific tech support, they answer very quickly and are extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this app.
The best WiFi camera viewing and recording app ever, for both Android and Pc, well worth the small price, it's been running on both Android and my PC for over 2 years without any problems... I would rate this App AND the support 10 stars if I could!
I have the worst luck with port forwarding. Bottom line: If you can access ur camera already using web browser by typing the xx.xx.xx.xxx:xx in the address bar, then this app will let u view the camera. It's just a neat and simple little app. Very happy with it.
Very easy to setup my camera. Would be better if the pro menu selections could be marked instead of indicating that the function is only available with the pro version after being selected.
No issues, easy to get set up, I have no experience with security cameras using onvif either, however I'm quite tech savvy. The UX/ UI could be better.
Now that I've "updated" the PTZ and optical zoom dont work. I get "digital zoom" only available in pro. That's great I'm not trying to zoom in digitally. So this update was a downgrade.
Good working app!!! Woulda gave it five stars but it doesn't have motion detection or email alerts !!!
App is great but every single time the app gets updated, my pro license gets lost and I need to uninstall and install again to get the app recognize my license again, but losing all my settings. This is beyond frustrating.
This Wifi IP camera app works great ,with Amcrest and Sricam Foscam planning on purchasing the full version when my additional IP camera gets here. Setup not difficult. I appreciate being able to try the app prior to purchasing. So many IP camera apps that do not work with different mfg cameras. Can't wait to use the full version. 😊
Simply brilliant. Have tried so many others and come close. I'm ditching my ivms4500 in favour of this app. The set up was really good. I wasn't expecting it to find all my cams instantly but it did, and I literally just needed to click on them one by one, enter user and owd, press "Setup" and save...repeat till all done...enjoy....Pro version here I come after checking the trial...so many features.... Sooooo good...well done team
Just great. I was looking for a better app than the one which came with my cameras. This one offers much more features and doesn't crash.
I bought the pro license two weeks ago, and there's still a prompt stating that the app is pro but cannot verify license on google?? Function wise It is pro version and it runs great. Maybe I can just ignore the prompt? The app is by far the best I've tried. It's fast, broad compatibility, stable, many options, but not the most easy to configure. Overall I'm happy with the app.
This App is awesome!!! It easily finds your cameras on the same internal WiFi network. As for remote viewing, you simply have to go into your routers settings and allow port forwarding. You must know your outside IP address that is assigned to you by your ISP. If it's static and doesn't change, you're good to go. Then forward that number and the ports. Once you get one camera going, you do the same to add more cameras and just assign each individual camera a different number. Easy for Breezy. 😎
Best app of its type that I've found. Just buggy enough to errode my confidence to upgrade to Pro. Error messages cannot be copied to submit an error report, so I'm guessing many bugs go unreported. Need to take a screenshot and email dev team. I want the Pro features but can't justify spending money on a buggy app. I do wonder if the feature throttling in the free version is actually the cause of the issues I've encountered. My opinion: Best app of its kind, but it's not the best it could be.
Almost every button in free version yields a popup telling saying have to pay for that function (nag screen). Sucks, but just don't touch them. But now after using it a while it repeatedly puts a line covering part of the multi-view video in a way that is hard to close. You close it and moments later it is back spoiling the image. UPDATE: Biyee says there should never be a line, but there definitely is. I had to reinstall it to get rid of it. And it did come back, but not after weeks, but after I said "already reviewed". I reinstalled it again, did not respond to review requests and have seen no line. So this could just be a bug. But it was definitely there in the multi-view twice after review. I'm going to increase the stars.
The best if not the only one that is simple yet effective and powerful. This app could find most ip cams fast. It is also simple to use and has great functions that you won't get anywhere else. I have installed the pro version on 3 different devices. One of them is a old Android TV box which is connected to a HDMI splitter which sends the signal to 3 monitors in different locations in my house. The only issue occurred since the last update for Google Pay. My cellphone app says that I do not Pro.
Both the app and the technical support are fantastic for Onvif compliant cameras. I first tried the free version then purchased the pro version. I have a network with several cameras that all worked fine except for one. The technical support team were extremely reactive and persevered with several email exchanges to resolve the technical problem encountered to connect this camera. I highly recommend this app.
