This app is unusable in it's current state. An error message pops up every single time I use it, waiting for connection, retry or cancel. Can't even turn on airplane mode and listen to downloaded offline stations. There's obviously an error with the app startup timing, but no acknowledgement. Just sent to an unhelpful troubleshooting page that doesn't work. I have to delete the app data and log in every time the app is closed. Why do I pay for this?
I am doing the trial of premium and what the heck have y'all done to it? Its so massively overcomplicated & unintuitive! There is collected & not collected. Like & dislike. No clue what the difference is. Song pages with no like buttons & no way to stop playing the song u don't like. Radio stations created for you with no way to remove songs & nearly impossible to delete the station. I found it once & never again. When signal goes out i get the same one song playing over & over.
Pandora has been taking forever to load songs lately. And when I try to listen off-line it gives me other stations that aren't usually there and they only play one song on repeat. I've read the other reviews that are ha ing the same problem and they all have the same response. How about instead of telling your customers to try this and that, just fix the problem. I pay for my service. This shouldn't be an issue
Whatever update just happened I hate it. One of my favorite stations completely changed genres a few days ago. I don't understand how Spanish Guitar just switched over to alt rock after over 5 years of only playing what I wanted, but the help desk just told me to scrap it and start over. Now my stations un-alphebatized and I spent more time than I feel was necessary trying to navigate the new settings. I'm not usually one to consider dropping a service but this was very unpleasant to deal with
I have used this app a lot and I have really liked it. But recently the offline mode stopped working. The downloaded stations only have one song each that they play repeatedly. It's not worth paying for the upgrade anymore. I see that lots of users have reported the same problem with no help from pandora.
Great for music bad for glitches and bugs. Everytime something is updated or at least once a month I have to fight with an upgrade. Example... option to now delete a song off of my thumbs up list by only swiping on the song on the list and deleting, boom simple, no. My list is entirely jacked up and if I choose a song it's playing as if I never deleted the track. Soo annoying. And let's not talk about shuffle, out of over 300 to 400 songs it plays the same 20 over and over in order basically.
Pandora plus used to be good with the offline music I work in a lot of areas that has no service. Now as of late when in offline mod it plays the same song over and over. Try to skip song and it replays the same one. The only way to change it is to give it a thumbs down but it's songs I like
Pandora may not have the broadest range of albums and songs and artists, but it is pretty cool if you are looking for new songs and You artist that you didn't know we're out there. I use this app quite a bit, but one of the major downsize for me, at least on my particular cell phone model, is that if you try to minimize the app to go do something else, the musical L stop playing altogether, or if you go back into the app after it has been minimized, it restarts itself, and you lose the song you
This is my favorite app to listen to music, but lately it's been very glitchy. A message keeps popping up that, "We're experiencing tech difficulties," it's skipping in the middle of songs, and it may take many seconds-to-minutes to play the next song. The majority of the time I listen while connected to wifi and I'm not experiencing issues with other music streaming apps. Also, I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but the issues continue.
App won't play half the time. It's up to date. It just won't play. The little bars are moving like it's supposed to have sound and be playing but nothing. Can't skip the song either. It's updated, i restart my device at least 2x every time this happens. Most of the time that doesn't work. Wifi is fine. Amazon music and spotify work fine. IT'S NOT MY DEVICE.
After a 2 year hiatus from using the app, decided to give it another shot. First two times I used it, it was great! Battery usage was very minimal, and everything was great. Two days later, however, and the app is failing to connect to the server. My mom is having the same issue on a totally different type of phone, and she's paying for it. Everything else works great on my phone (Galaxy Note Ultra), Spotify, Amazon, YT Music... Maybe I'll try again in another 2 years.
When it worked, loved it!! Over the last 2 days. I can't even get it to start up. Keep saying no connection to service. Have tried adjusting apps, restarting phone, even force closing it to reboot. Still nothing. Thinking about saying to hell with it and just getting a Spotify subscription. Losing 2 days of paid service because of this issue, possibly more.
ads pop up but the user interface has gotten better. Having trouble getting it to work on data but still trying (was working but just stopped) will get stuck on a couple of the same songs but just thumbs up or down a couple new ones. All in all much easier to build a station to your tast with nothing but how you like your music to sound, Instead of Spotify or iTunes where you kinda have to start with a artist and keep adding. I feel like this just works better for me! :)
I don't know what is going on lately but Pandora is not working right. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times. I get an error stating "Waiting for connection. Try again?" It's not my phone as Spotify works fine. Please get this fixed. I pay for premium and have a great collection and playlists that I created years ago. And use Pandora for music when entertaining. I'm so disappointed!
I love pandora. I've had it since before smart phones. But the glitches lately are horrible. It will freeze and even when you clear the app out and go back thinking it will reset, it just goes back to the same frozen screen. Also, it won't let me click on the edit button for shuffle that's let's you pick and choose your stations. Very annoying.
I love the layout, but I will have full service in either data or wifi, and will be unable to play music, as it is stuck on the loading screen with a popup saying "waiting for connection" used to be able to uninstall then reinstall and it would fix the problem. But can't even do that anymore. What's the point of enjoying the music or updates if I can't even access past the loading screen?
App is not working. Everytime I try to open it, it says "waiting for connection. Try again". Never had an issue before and never changed any settings in my phone. Update: I cleared all settings in app and tried again and it didn't work. So I just deleted the app. Re-download the app and it worked perfectly fine. However, every now and then it will pop up with the message again saying "waiting for connection. Try again later".
Will not play! Continuously states that the selection is "unavailable". Please music regardless the last time I "put it on the shelf". Clearly is only playing music that is less expensive for Pandora. Does not highlight my likes, or disregard my dislikes. Constantly crashing. Unable to edit playlist. Had more features in the free version. I'm done paying for this to not work.
I've been a Pandora user for over a decade now, and I've never had much to complain about, but the app is now completely unusable. I've had to reinstall it or clear out the data cache to log in every day for the past week and a half now. I've also followed all the Android troubleshooting tips and none have helped at all. The issue still persists every time I close the app and try to open it up again. Pandora, I love your service, but I'm paying for Premium and have to reinstall it EVERY time.
Had this app for many years, but recently it hasn't been going passed the loading screen when I open the app, saying, "Waiting for connection, try again?" Even when I do have internet connection. I've restarted my phone, cleared the catche and data, and nothing. I somewhat resolved the issue by unistalling and reinstalling, but once I exit the app, I'd have to uninstall and reinstall again to get back in, it's really annoying. Please fix, I don't want to start over downloading music on Spotify.
I've been using this app for years, but recently these past few years the quality has went down. Now almost every time I use the app there's some type of issue, whether it takes forever to load, the songs keep on playing after I close the app, just over all super glitchy and inconvenient. I'm very close to just deleting and using something else. If it wasn't for the fact that I've been using it for years and it has all of my music, I would have deleted a long time ago.
I'm a LONG time Pandora user. But they removed the option to shuffle playlists, and they won't even allow you to put in a service request about it. It's been going on for a long time, and they just can't be bothered to fix it. This issue alone is why I will be canceling my subscription and moving on. If I have to manually change between playlists to get variety while I'm driving, then I may as well give my money to a different app that listens to it's subscribers about basic stuff.
I love pandora I just wish the app wasn't so buggy. The worst is I have turned off the setting that makes it play music as soon as I open the app but that doesn't work it always starts up the last song or station immediately. What's worse is I've turned off the setting to launch pandora when I plug my phone into the car and that doesn't work either and it does it every time I start my car then the notification for playing in the car hangs there the rest of the day and won't go away.
Had the app less than a week. Now it keeps crashing and I can't get back my saved songs. Thought it would be a suitable replacement for Spotify guess I was wrong. Edit: did that and it's still not working. Will not use again. Edit: figured I try one last time, restarted my phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app, seems to be working well now
App won't load for me ever since the new update, doesn't matter if I have full signal or not or even on wifi, I've been using this app for as long as I can remember and it's extreme disappointing that it doesn't work anymore, get it together, just because I refuse to pay for add free it seems it doesn't work. If it doesn't get fixed soon I'll be deleting app from my phone for good, and I have done everything the stupid help website suggests, and just just did it again and same result
Edit- About 30 minutes after writing this, the app started working again. Not sure why but it's working fine again. Have used app for years without problem, but today it stopped working in the middle of playing music and has refused to play any station despite closing app, updating app, restarting phone, changing every setting related to app, and trying everything else I could think of. Lost an hour of my day and missed my workout. This is extremely annoying, the app worked fine before.
For a long time it worked fine. Now I have to clear storage on Pandora if I reboot or it goes into a "Cancel? Retry?" mode when loading. I sent a note to support and the tech acknowledged the problem but still no fix after a week. I asked for a 3 month credit for all the hassle I've gone through and the tech "disappeared". Others have different problems. Something has gone bad at Pandora.
The first, the original, the best - as much as Spotify gets all the love - is Pandora. That being said, the Android app is weak. Why do you have bookmark and like things 100 times? That ought to be done once. Once. Not every time the song plays. And when it's active and Bluetooth connected, nothing happens. What's up, Pandora? Paid subscriber for more than a decade. Thank you for responding.
App worked fine for years but ever since the last update it's useless. Every time I open the app I get the logo for a few seconds and then "waiting for response. Retry?" Googling the problem shows it's a known issue on Pandora's side, and the last update was almost 2 months ago, so who knows when it will be fixed. Cancelling my subscription and going to Spotify.
I have experienced significant difficulties with this app in the past month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as well as closed the app and tried to re-access it. Most recently it has deleted my downloaded playlist, only played one song on repeat, and has shown an error message stating there are no playlist on the app. I'm losing my patience with this app after being a faithful user for the past 10 years. Please resolve this situation soon.
