Just an amazing app, used almost everywhere in India! The UI of the app is very easy to understand. Also we can easily do payments anywhere in just few clicks without any long process of going to banks! Its a faster & easier way to recharge, pay bills, send or recieve money, link bank accounts, UPI transactions, book tickets & much more! But sometimes i face some issues of loading, can't show balance or sending money that are very frustrating, so i hope you guys will fix it otherwise great app.
Paytm is the best app in terms of payment speed, security and in last 6 years not a single transaction has ever failed for me .👏👏 BUT one of the major issues I always feel is UI of the App.It is so overcrowded and difficult to navigate. Almost 90% options that are present in home screen are rarely used . If Paytm focuses on its UI developement and make it simple and easy to use,no one can stop it from becoming the BEST payments application.
Pros: Very fast payments, easy transitions as compared to slow "phone pay" transactions. Cons: The app features and organisation of tabs in the app should be better organized. Confusion is there in using the app. Final verdict: While I am using the phone pay app , i will be frustrated 🥴 little whether the transaction goes successful. But when I am using Paytm, i won't get that frustration, and I feel confident that transaction will be definitely executed.
What to say I'm just using it as often i use my phone. it's incredibly faster than any other UPI apps I had earlier used so far. It has many advantages and features . But I liked the most is whenever you are transferring money to someone if txn was not successful it will cancel the txn and refund the money back to your AC. Not a single pending payment case I've seen in my usetime. yet there are some minor fixes to do. I love IT 😍
Paytm has always been my goto app for all money,bill payments,transfers,etc. Now from today they've started taking 2% convenience for recharging mobile phone through UPI/wallet transactions. Horrendous experience....had never thought of replacing paytm with other available payment apps....but now i think it's time.
Bad experience with postpaid. I made a transaction of 1500 in the month of Mar, and repaid the amount on 31st of Mar. However, I've been asked to pay convinience fee for the same. This had happened in the month of Feb as well, I assumed that it was a one time convenience fee and paid in the month of Feb. But I've been asked to pay again for the transaction made in the month of Mar. So surprised that all this was never mentioned or notified before I opted postpaid. Better to switch to other apps!
Logged in after a year, not sure how to use this app. First message..said account does not exist. Tried again, it said exists! Checked balance and wanted to transfer an amount...no option to do it Just not sure how this app is expected to work. Truly disappointed with the help options, a bot configured without even basic options.
Not at all satisfactory for the people who deal in huge amount of bank transactions. They do not provide the bank statements in excel format. It becomes worse for business purposes as for proper books of accounts we need the transactions in proper accessible format. Moreover when you suggest them to initiate this facility, they do not entertain it. When all other banks are providing it so easily, just don't know why Paytm cannot do so! Gave up on it and would definitely not recommend it!
The app was working good for many months now but again yesterday payment failed amount deducted but no refund to the bank account yet. Also no response for my ticket for the same. Another payment is under pending payments both are big amounts and as usual during emergency app is definitely not reliable. Usually when i make small payments and it fails that time the money never gets debited from the account but after long time when i initiated payment with a big amount app caused inconvenience
I'm rating this APP even though i didn't wanted to because it's terrible, disastrous and useless app with the worst customer services. I was trying to get transaction history for the more than 2 hours continuously but failed to get it and then they didn't even consider my second request for the history. I talked to customer service and they simply responded "SORRY, WE CAN'T HELP". What would you do when the APP itself fails to help you and sought things out. I would never recommend this APP!!
Horrible experience, they take the money and don't release it. i want to pay from my Paytm wallet but that option is never valid. They make you pay from your bank account and keep money in the paytm wallet to increase their value. Monopolised like anything. I still can't access money from my wallet i need to send it to another Paytm user. And they are not even giving me that option.
Great app. Very good experience, it is very supportive and useful, has a wallet facility, UPI payment, Bank transfer, Recharge, shopping and Booking options and the biggest point is that they work properly and when we click on pay, the choice ' scan any Qr code ' comes at bottom centre of the screen.
Useful but Improper execution of KYC and Customer Support. I use paytm for most of my online payments but one day when I needed to travel for a long journey and I use a paytm fastag, suddenly the credit was frozen without any notification. Now after calling Paytm they tell me to go to the nearest kyc point to reverify. I don't mind doing all this but this could have been done with a proper intimation and customer support could have been much better here. Poor customer experience.
Paytm is good app overall but customer service isn't good. Suddenly my Paytm wallet has been deactivated by patym without giving any notification then i contact to customer service and i uploaded required documents after that they didn't give any reply is it really 24*7 customer service...? So i suggest others also,lp It's better to use different apps atleast they resolved customer's issue.
My ratings are specifically related to Paytm postpaid account. And I'd like to advise you, please don't activate postpaid account with Paytm. They put unnecessary charges in your account and when you try to dispute the transaction you'd get to know that they don't have any helpline number for that just the chat option, where you will only get automated responses. They have debited my account with 875rs which are still unexplained. Thanks!
I am using this app from years. The app was excellent in dealing with every thing but at the end we have to pay excess amount when compared to other apps. No customer support. No business ethics they will change the charges frequently without notification as per market and their convenient. Very bad
My previous experience was very good and i gave 5 star. But fews days back they offered a postpaid service which was also good. But problem is that they don't send any reminder for due amount or due date. U understand this issue only when they stop this service without intimation. God knows what will happen if they send us one reminder sms.
Why charging while loading wallet from credit card. Unnecessary chargeing extra amount. Mobikwik free charge etc apps are not charging while loading wallet from credit cards. I stopped using paytm. Such waste app and support. I reviewed so their team insists me to send email sent an email on 13th December still now no reply. These people just trying to show to people they are helping waste app and worst support system. Stupid app, waste of time.
I am unable to interact with the customer care by any mean directly. It is the bot that i can interact with. As I have received the link from the frauds yesterday. And now I am trying to connect with Paytm customer care but only recorded answers are being given to me. Worst, worst, worst no security ! And worst customer support.
A bit cluttered. I don't want blinking offers, please help with a clean, easy to find, minimum things on screen interface. Currently, the number of icons/things packed in there increases my blood pressure! 😁
Why there is no option for Password to log in, because OTP can't recieved in my phone if my Airtel number is not recharged. This is so irritating. And bdw, if my phone got lost and if someone found then anyone can log in to paytm by using OTP. so i think this is really not a secure. And WHY I STILL NOT RECEIVING OTP IN MY PHONE, ITS BEEN 7 HOURS WAITING FOR OTP. Please fix this issue soon.
For recharge option, there comes a bill option, even after paying that amount we still are unable to recharge. Secondly some people recharge before the due dat and we should be able to do that. We aren't able to have a good recharging options. Uninstalling the app. Worst experience so far.
3rd class app. Everytime it gets updated, it logs off and it has to be verified again and again. And they have started this new drama of verifying by sending message from our phone instead of verifying it through OTP, even for transferring money through wallet. And we have to incur money even if we are on roaming. So basically, this app is a threat to privacy. It can only function in India. In European countries it would have been subject of multi law suits in line with GDPR regulations.
Superfast payments, and with the highest success rate I've ever seen. Failed payments also revert back in seconds. Offers are attractive too. Good job, just try making the interface a lil cleaner by removing the mini apps & services that aren't related to UPI.
I liked it. The app is better than gpay in terms of consistency of servers. But the UI of the app is too complex and not as easy to use. Summing up it is not User friendly as gpay is..... App can be improved, by making it simple.
Very good experience, it is very supportive and useful, it keeps a man away from thinking about availability of cash/changes in his pocket while on journey/transit, there is no tension of pick-pocketing enroute because a man always avoiding keeping cash in the presence of Paytm app, yes, there is a condition that your mobile should be always with you
There is no use to redeem your points for any coupon. I had tried so many coupons for so many time but it's not accepting anywhere. 0% value for money or value for coupons. From last so many days i m trying to redeem my FITPASS SUBSCRIPTION. But every time it is asking for updates after updating the app it's show's the same msg again n again. So m not very much happy with the offers n service. Sorry but it's true. Please don't cheat customers by showing so much offers but of no use.
Customer support is the worst of all other payment apps. I couldn't cancel my automatic UPI payments so I reached out to them but I was only able to chat with a bot, that doesn't show the issue I'm facing, and even if I report my issue somehow, it just says "We are sorry with the inconvenience caused, we are trying to improve our service" Uninstalling this app rightaway!
Excellent. I am using it since many years . There is one suggestion. When we clik on Pay, the choice " scan any QR code" comes at bottom centre of the screen. Advertisements are running on that portion of screen and the choice is not clearly visible. It is suggested that this choice may be placed at the top or at a distinctly visible part of the screen where it is not cluttered by advertisements.
