This app is trash it constantly crashes, everytime a new message is sent I go and try to look at it and the refresh rate for the messages that came in so dang slow, I'm literally waiting 10+ seconds to be able to view the messages and thats if even get the chance to do because of how often it crashes, the app is just slow and i almost don't even wanna bother with it anymore. there's no way developers put this together from scratch over the last years, this is a skin for an older system.

Lousy, freezing, no support. I have to clear cache/storage anytime I want to see any messages. Even then it freezes more times than not. Even waiting for info to load and clicking 'wait' several times when Android thinks the app froze....it takes 2-3 min to scroll. Those are the rare occasions, most of the time it's a hard freeze with no recovery.

I have yet to figure out how a cloud database system can be so inconsistent between the in truck system and what is presented within the app. They work assignment can be in one place or the other, but not both at the same time. The app messaging system is horrendous! Not to mention how bad the driver clock system works. Completely inconsistent, and wrong status. I could go on!

Slow app loading times seem to be caused by long data refresh cycles on initialization. Once I have the app open it seems to work best by never completely closing it out. There is a learning curve with the Peoplenet system. The best way to learn the system quirks is to jump into it. It can do things that the Qualcomm system can't do and the platform has greater overall flexibility.

Been using Peoplenet for about 2 years now. I hated this device with a passion in the beginning but they've made a ton of improvements making it tolerable/less stressful. I've noticed that when I sign out of the tablet it prohibits me from receiving messages through the app on my phone. Often we have to sign out of the tablet for many reasons(repairs/home-time etc..)and can be gone for multiple weeks. Company messages still come and we don't receive them through the app our phone. Please fix.

Updated review. Needs some love. Information provided could be provided better. Remember who the audience is 🙄. Simple and straight forward information is all that's needed. Most utilized feature I use is my route / trip information. I also look to see how long I was on duty at each stop servicing a store. Not bad to use but the peoplenet in cab is beyond horrible (isn't related to the app).

I use this app everyday to communicate with the office... Very reliable.... UPDATE.... As reliable as this app used to be... it is now completely unreliable.... you can't send messages on it... it dings says you have a message they don't show up.... I've uninstalled it reinstalled it three times in the last 2 weeks... turn to pure garbage....

I find this app frustrating at times, you cannot manually refresh it the app. The app does not not give you real time information and only refreshes when you start you're Truck. In this "no idle" environment this app can be maddening. The communication part of app only works if you're logged into the peoplenet system, also frustrating. The app does not provide a recap for Canadian or US hours that still also has to be done manually. So many things I dont like about this app but I use it.

Give me one good reason I shouldn't just delete this useless app off my phone? It doesn't do real time. It won't change from driving even though the engine is turned off. It can tell I'm moving but it can't tell the engine is off? I've had this for almost a year and only twice has it even been helpful. oh and when you contact them via the app on weekends they are not there.

This app is garbage. It freezes up everytime you open messages. For some odd reason autocorrect doesn't work. Just some real low quality app development. Straight up terrible experience.

I've been told countless times that I need to update the app but, that option never shows up. It says uninstall or open. Never an update option. Update, now the app doesn't even open says it has a bug. THAT I NEED TO UPDATE. Epic fail.

Awful. If you try to change your duty status you get a message saying that it could take up to 15 minutes. Most of the people that I would want to message aren't listed. Times never match actual Peoplenet times. App doesn't sync when not logged in. I don't really see any advantages to this app.

This app needs SERIOUS work, if my job didn't require me to use it, I wouldn't! It takes an extremely long time to load, the HOS does not synch up with the computer in the truck and, sometimes, I am forced to do a 34hr reset because the recaps are screwed up. Our safety team can't even seem to be able to locate last week's hours. If you're thinking about using this for your company, shop around, there are much better, and less problematic apps out there.

Doesn't give me messages, and all the information is always wrong. I hate peoplenet. The tablet in the truck constantly freezes then restarts just about every time I use it. Touch an icon and wait, dont dare touch anything else or it will get confused and restart. Frustrating to say the least

Is portly acting up, I dont know what happened but the app was fine, never had any problems until they supposedly started fixing it, fixing what? now is just giving to many problems. Freezing up, u have to wait to type because it freezes as u type and it make u wait a long time to type just a few words. You can't even scroll down, it also makes you wait a lot😡😡😡

The app worked decently while our company was on AOBRDs. Duty status was delayed, but I was able to send/ receive messages and get a rough idea about my HOS. Since we've upgraded to ELDs, the app no longer works. Duty status is mostly incorrect, and no messages are sent/received. Definitely needs an update.

It works fine as long as you are connected to the in cab device, sometimes it receives the message before the in cab device and sometimes after so not very synchronize. Great if you want to take screen shots for your records.

When the app is in the background and another app is being used, this app will switch itself to the forefront. Have also had the occasion when the screen was off and the app came to the forefront and turned the screen on. No notifications were happening at any of the times.

Never had a problem with it. Able to keep up to date with my current loads and logs with the connected tablet in the truck. But if not used daily, it takes a bit to catch back up with the messages and logs that are current.

Does not, nor has it ever functioned correctly. Rarely able to change duty status on the app. Is never correct in showing current duty status. HOS is almost never correct. Only thing this app is good for is messaging dispatch when away from my truck. Provided, that is, that I am logged in on the main in-truck device.

this app would be great if it kept up with real time events. like current and correct duty status and available drive time. there's a lag between my in cab unit and the app. Case in point, today it won't keep up with how much sleeper time I've had.

Things just don't connect properly, upper right tells your status, mine always says off duty, can't ever change it from off duty to sleeper berth or vice versa as the eld never stays on you have to power the truck up to get it started just to change duty status. The trip and message feature does work ok though.

Not surprising this app is SO bad given how terrible the interface is for the actual on-tractor ELD. Lock ups, spotty messaging, and inaccurate information about duty status are some of the more positive aspects of this near-total waste of time. If I didn't need to get messages when away from the truck I'd uninstall this POS instantly. UPDATE FEB 2021: Flash screen for a week now claiming an update that has yet to materialize via Google. Typical incompetent.

The times between the app and the people get tablet are never in sync, when the truck is off, power off on home time, I don't get messages. I can be off duty or in sleeper berth and the app says that I am still on duty. But when the truck is on, and has power, the messages work well.

Would not start, said there was an update that needed installed, no update button so tried playstore. Had to Uninstall then reinstall tried to link driver for 4 days, it keeps saying there's a problem in the cloud. Program is useless now, won't link. Nowhere to contact support because app won't start until it links.

Horrible. Highly recommend you don't manage your logs through this app. None of my previous logs match and at this very moment I only have 2 hours left to drive yet the app is saying I have over 6.5 hours left. I started my day at 3:30am. This is after finally being able to log in which I have tried several times in the past week with no luck. PeopleNet is already a horrible interface and the app is way worse. Don't use it unless you enjoy paying log book fines and being put OOS.
