Photomath - Camera Calculator

Awesome app! It's really great for when I'm doing homework or studying and need help understanding the process. The only issue I ever have is sometimes my camera doesn't focus and I can't take a picture, but if I exit out of the app and go back in that usually fixes the problem. Absolutely recommend!! (It does have a premium version, but the free version works better than fine!)

This app is great if your questions are all numerical. It's pretty simple to use and the calculator function is pretty good too. Like if you too a photo of a question that was 10x4 it'd probably figure out that the answer was 40. However the problem for me is that it doesn't completely understand word problems or graphs or anything written in words really. When you take photos of these things it just says that they can't understand the problem. Please fix this ASAP then I'll change my rating. 🙏

This app is a life saver and has made my life so much easier in so many ways. Instead of having to go through a text book you can just take a photo of your problem and it shows you a step by step guide on how to do the equation. My only TINY issue with it is that it takes a bit of time for the camera to auto focus on a math problem or maybe that's just my phone. But other than that 10 out of 10 app, would recommend!! P.s. The fact that there are no adds just makes it all the more better.

This has helped me so much in Algebra especially since they provide each step to get to the solution so you can see where you messed up. They also graph functions for you and that feature is amazing! They also don't have an overwhelming amount of ads. The app also has a feature where you can look up you textbook and the from the problems in the book.

Edited: I have found multiple problems with incorrect answers. I still find it useful but have spent a fair amount of time chasing my tail. I am taking precalc classes at home, so this is the closest thing to "asking the teacher" for help that I can get. They offer a method of reporting incorrect answers, which I happily do, but no way of checking back to see if the feedback was accepted and corrected. Also the books that claim they are fully solved are anything but. Manage expectations.

Works well, probably one of the better apps to use for difficult math problems. Its definitely saved me countless amount of times for school, and I love that it explains how to solve it with many steps and multiple ways of explanation. Just wish it understood word problems.

Omg I'm a student and this app is the only thing keeping me sane, I'm so grateful for the reduced amount of ads, the help with calculator symbol ranges, the problem solving picturesque, and I cannot thank the people who made this enough!! It is so amazing using this and I hope you make no alterations because the app is perfect as it is. It has my Algebra math book on the app and provides detailed answers for FREE! I have not gotten the paid version and am perfectly content with the normal one.

Incredible work photomath team! other math solver couldn't run on my phone. But this app runs so good. An yes, the accuracy, even if I miss 2/3 of my sum it can still recognize it(also my bad handwriting). the solves are easy and crystal clear for me but there is only a stop in this plus point streak, if you could add the option to write down and take photos fron the device that would be awesome. Anyways, Best of luck 😄😻

Very easy to use. Feel like there could be more options for different things. It just seems very minimal and basic, like take photo, solve, explain, done. Which is great, I just want to be able to write equations and such. But over all, def worth 5 stars,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was excellent at deciphering my near unintelligible handwriting, showed the steps, and has a great user interface. Only thing is you shouldn't use it on its own as some if the ways they get answers are on the complex side and if you are here that's probs too much, best used as a supplement to check work and give you hints.

Photomath is still the best but it needs to change. And it's been a long time coming now. It can't show results for so many problems. This is frustrating!! I am tired of this now. A lot of problems just can't be solved by the app. Please resolve this issue in the next update, Photomath. You'll be the undisputed leader!!! The app is overall great amd it helped me in my final exams so much but I noticed that It does not notices the brackets, like the line bracket and small bracket and that's why it makes the whole sum into a wrong one. I suggest the team to make it able to see the brackets and algebra words too. After that This app is great for every kind of mathematical problem . Thank you :)

The app helps me so much. And the only annoying thing is that I sometimes don't understand some equations it solves so, then I have to pay to get a free month to let it explain it better. But overall experience is very good 😊

This is truly a wonderful app. It helped me when I struggled with math especially late night maths and I can still see how it is worked out. ❤It would just be nice if it can show more steps and explain more

Photomath is fantastic, it solves all mathematics equations, roots, limits, graphs, functions... not to mention some which needs a lot of efforts and time. At all, photo math has been become like my teacher because it solves my every question with deatils.😻😊❤

I love this app because not only does It solve your problem, but It also shows a step by step guide for the problem and an explanation for each step. It also shows shows graph versions of some problems, so basically the solution, but on It.

This app is amazing. I actually love this app because it explains how to do the problem but you also have to buy premium to get the full explaination but still shows you how to do it and help and makes math easier. I recommend it for anyone struggling with math😁😁

You have to pay for too much. Also, you can barely adjust the size of what scans the problem, so it's basically impossible to get the entire problem in the picture without getting pieces of other problems as well, which confuses the simple AI and won't solve your problems. Why use the whole camera if the box is barely adjustable? Worthless app

I've been looking for an app that actually helps. I was trying to take a photo of a math problem but it kept saying "we couldn't recognize this problem" like I thought you guys help with all math problems. This is why I give this 2 stars.

Photomath has helped me so much with not just getting correct answers, but also understanding problems. Four stars because there are a few problems that it says they cant solve. Overall great app!

The app is excellent, it does all that it's supposed to do and works very well. It has a variety of ways to solve equations and it also shows you how is solved it so you are able to understand it. My only problem with it is that when you try to take a photo, the resizer is a bit restrictive but that could easily be fixed

The explanations are too vague. The graphs and parabola dont tell you where to plot points. Other than that it works great. Edit: Now it says it can't even recognize certain questions that are the same it answered before? What did the new update do. It cant answer ANY question. Also when is the camera quality gonna be fixed?

Photomath is really helpful. Saving a lot of my time, instead of searching textbooks or Google, we have it here already, accurate explanation and solutions. Very efficient and effective, user experience is comfortable and easy for us new users.

Look, you're probably going to use this to cheat on your homework, but the thing is, this actually helps *teach* you how to do it, at least partially. If you were paying attention to the lesson and know how to solve it, and just forgot which method to use, this is an absolutely remarkable tool for studying and reviewing concepts. Helped me study incredibly efficiently for a college algebra test using a public study guide, and I genuinely was able to recap an entire year in the span of a week!

It is great app and can solve almost 80% of my my math problems but it dosent tell the type of the expression, it should also contain a mathematical dictionary and the developers should update it often & often to add more sollution and make this AI expert in math alot more than humans.

In a live photo map helps me with a lot of my school work and I love it in general sometimes it doesn't work but most of the time it does and oh my God it's the best thing a girl can ask for so I suggest that everyone should get if they're horrible at math like me I think it would be the best my grade has went up so much is unreal so I think that everyone should get photomath because it's the best learning way you can also you steps to so if any I honestly think it would be the best way to learn

This is one of the top 5 Maths app on Playstore and other webs and it usually helps solve maths problem by simply capturing or typing in the maths equation or problem provided you have data. It also have nice features that allow you to see the solving steps and it's well explained. It doesn't contain adds and uses little data. It has good appearance and easy to use. Great, helps and shows math problems with ease. Probably the best calculator app right now. It is updated regularly with a lot of new books, tasks and functions coming up. No ads except promo for their full version for more tutorials on resolving tasks.

Huh, my review disappeared? Anyways, the calculations either take way too long or doesn't end at all. Its literally faster to load up a browser to find and use an alternative than wait for the results from photomath. Or even just manually doing it on paper is faster... Very disappointed, though it has helped me through years of school just fine, but I guess nothing lasts forever
