PicaSim: Free flight simulator

PicaSim won't teach you to fly a R/C plane, but it can help you learn.It comes with a large selection of aircraft (mainly gliders for the moment), multiple terrains to fly in, and many settings so you can configure it as you see fit, or create your own terrains to fly around.It is completely free

The Full version also includes additional scenes, races, limbo challenges and planes (including a quadcopter). It will contain more "bonuses" over time, as a little thank you for contributing.If your device is Android 3 or above and supports USB OTG, you can probably use an external USB gamepad or joystick, or even your R/C Transmitter (via an interface), using a USB OTG cable/adapter (very cheap). Its definitely worth trying. Make sure you connect the controller before running PicaSim, and then set it up in the settings->joystick menu. - it will give you a few tips about how to not crash. Keeping airborne is pretty hard at first! 2. If you select a multi-stick controller (mode1 or mode2), watch out for glitches. If the sticks don't always follow your screen touches, your device probably doesn't support full multi-touch. Select "stagger controller" in Settings->Options.Please keep an eye on the website (or follow on Facebook/Google+) for info on updates etc

It needs the "Phone calls" permission for Marmalade
- I think this is to handle interruption by incoming calls properly. PicaSim does not access any personal data on the device.
PicaSim flight simulator focusses primarily on incredibly realistic R/C glider flying (slope and thermal), including wind flow, turbulence and thermals in the simulation. The gliders range from small flying wings like the Weasel, aerobatic planes like the Phase 6, Le Fish and the Jart, up to larger soaring and scale planes, plus a full size hang glider. But there are powered planes too, including a fully aerobatic powered plane, the Extra 3D, as well as a control-line plane. Almost all the gliders can be launched by hand, with a bungee/high-start, or by aerotow.

Best RC Sim for I have seen so far. Relatively realistic aerodynamics, critical when landing - teaches you the right skills and I love its thermal glider simulation, so much fun. Though it would be nice to have the vario sound not only inside the plane, also on the controls. Brilliant program a great preparation for flying a plane in the real world.
This is my all time favorite simulator for the android. The flight simulation is the most realistic I have seen. Every once in while there is something not correct. But it is so close that it is hard to decide if it the app or me. I use it to keep my flying reflexes current when I cannot get to the field . I have been flying RC for 40+ years.
This is a very good game with cool graphics and numerous planes for all occasions. The backround scenery is good, but when you go into the ocean, everything glitches! I have got a screenshot as proof. The other thing is that this app was updated at the start of 2017. I would really like to see a new update soon! I love your game developer(s)!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing flight sim to use on the go! It helps keep my flight skills tuned during the lockdown as I can't get to the airfield. Its a shame its not had development in a few years but it still works great on my Huawei Mate 20 X. Even better it works great with the new Jumper Tlite compact remote control. Just get a USB C OTG adaptor and then plug a USB A to USB C Cable in to the Tlite and configure it in Picasim! I'm off to pay for the premium version!
I downloaded the full version of this app years ago, deleted the application because of space issues on my phone, now I re-downloaded it and it's not the full version. Not really like to get my full version back. edit: I found the full version and I still have it! Thank you! Five stars.
Just do it. Spend the $3. This sumulator is insanely good for the money, you won't regret it. I purchased it to remailiarize myself with the controls after being out of the hobby for many years. I'm sure it saved me at least 20 crashes with the new plane.
Nice RC sim. Very enjoyable. Some may find it tricky to control, but just keep on trying. Camera positions include cockpit view (if you need to get your bearings). Good selection of planes, including powered models.
A great game. Truely a good and fun simulation. I play it on my spare time. Jist flying around is very addictive. Thank you for this game. Edit: Ok, nkw that ive tried some known (and some not so known) pc based rc simulators, where my favorite is now pheonixRC, this small but wonderfull android app is still better... The feel of the plane, the dynamic interaction with the air, i dont know why but it feels way more dynamic and immersive than any other PC based simulators... How can this be?..
This is the worst flight sim ever. First of all I moved the throttle all the way up and it did not do anything. It has wrong rudder animations and the plane looks like an ugly plane from Minecraft. I tried restarting the app and before it could even load the app crashed even though I have a powerful device and wifi. And the graphics aren't even real graphics. It's just a PHOTO MAP. The graphics make this game look good it's really not. Don't download. 😡
Not used this very long, but it seems to me as good as you can expect for a realistic rc plane simulation. If you've never flown anything it might take some getting used to, but so would the real thing. This is cheaper than crashing real models!
I like it. INCREDIBLE game ABSOLUTELY REALISTIC!!!!!!!!!!! I like panoromic maps. I played the best rc plane game picasim free flight sim. But i have one problem I not change the cameras in a panoromic maps. please solve my problem. thank you.

I like the game a lot and controls but there is a glitch. The glitch occurred when I flyed my airplane far from the island and crashed in the water. And more of my airplane appeared and the controls started to clone please fix this glitch.
This is a great intro to rc flying, or for practice; great physics, smooth running, the slope soaring and aircraft response is good and accurate. Great work, thanks to the developer.
This game is fun I can fly various planes but there is a big glitch every time I go into the node to walk the map just disappears and can you make it that when you go super fast in the fighter jet it breaks tje barrier,so this game is fun,I like it, its now my fav game and cant wait for the future updates
Hmm liked it but then didnt ...hard to see plane and as a result landings aren't accurate. Too many options in settings. Like the scenery ideas and various planes. Cool concept
Very good so far. Was hoping to find a push prop glider. See so many trainer planes with a push prop set up recently. Ranger 600 and aeroscout come to mind. Lots of planes to choose from. Each with their own flight tendancies.
Nice flight app though controls are a bit twitchy for exp pilot. On the freeflight jet, rudder is unresponsive. Otherwise, v good.
Anyone that complains about the planes being hard to control should never...ever spend money on an RC plane or try to fly one. These controls are pretty darn good for a free app. I really hope to see more nitro powered planes, some war birds and some WW1 bi planes. I am very impressed with this FREE app. Dont let all the negative comments scare you off. If you fly RC planes in real life, give this a try, this app is on par with the sims you can get for PC.
Don't like 1. It doesn't let me move 2. This game "ALWAYS" keeps crashing 3. This game keeps freezing/getting too much storage

Best RC plane Sim I've ever played! The only problem I have is that it suddenly crashes sometimes, which can get annoying, but all in all good. Controls are a bit difficult but you just have to get used to them. Unlike most other Plane Sims, this one isn't a cash grab, only the most special planes are locked and worth the price instead of just giving you two or three free planes. Keep it up! Don't ruin the game...it's just... perfect.
