Pictophile: Funny Memes & GIFs

Overall it's a solid app for memes, socializing, and instigating a good laugh. However the premium version which includes no ads and more creative opportunities is only available on Apple products. Which is a small yet incredibly irritating flaw, if the creators of this app includes that feature the app would be almost perfect in my opinion.

Consistent user base has been downhill since '16 imo. App hasn't been updated in 2 years. Admins are manlet children that delete anything they don't like. Popular is a hit or miss, and anything else is a no go. Everything on popular is stuff you would've seen on Instagram or anywhere else Useable app if you want to waste time, but not as good as it was a few years ago, so I wouldn't recommend it. At least download this on iOS instead. tl;dr : No longer good, no updates. Don't download.

As an Android user, this was completely disappointing. Absolutely NO tools for Android users whatsoever! You have four options total, and none of them are remotely useful! You claim you have the option to add a still picture to a GIF, but there's none. Waste of time.

This app is super glitchy and slow. It constantly crashes and deletes your projects. It's really frustrating. I like the concept of this app and with some bug fixes, it could be a good one. For now, it's really not.

I joined this community back in 2015 and it was amazing. I met really cool people and still talk to them to this day. This app gave me some good memories but that's pretty much all I got when it comes to liking this app. Over the past two years the app has gone downhill with people leaving and admins lacking in their own departments. The app itself is outdated and needs a huge update if it will ever have a chance of getting back on it's feet.

Constantly Interrupted - every other image or video there's an ad, which I understand is necessary for revenue, but if there was a payment option to remove ads - like there is for the IOS version, then would be 5 star >~<

Installed the app and tried to sign in with an existing account. Didn't work despite having the right username and password so tried to sign up. Welp, everytime I tried it simply said "no proxies pal" and didn't let me sign up. What's going on?

Update: I dropped from 3 to 2 stars for a lack of response to my original question below: I had this app on ios and there were alot more types of media you could create, will you plan on adding more options in the "create" menu? Thanks!

I have been a user since the very begining. seen the legends come & go, been a part of the funny trends & even learned a lot about our culture. best meme app.... a problem though.... meme's are not as funny as they were. dont know why.. lots if reposts & the content is limited so I cant scroll forever, only about 10min. please bring back the rough humor we all love! EDIT 10/19: the app crashes when I upload or try to create a meme. Everytime. Help Derek!

Honestly an awesome app. But the way ads pop up is poorly done and the messaging system keeps breaking. Needs more bug fixing.

The app has a great community, but there's an issue when it comes to uploading videos. I can only upload private videos and not select the option to make them public. I highly doubt it'll be fixed, which is a shame.

i actually love picto but having gone from an iphone to a google pixel and seeing the difference there is an absolutely rediculous amount of ads on non apple devices that pop up every other post making the experience for this app little to worthless

It's great if you're a pansy who needs a safe space zone. This app discourages any kind of creativity and humor. But encourages dumb gatekeeping. It's no better than iFunny. Everyone is super sensitive. I would not recommend.

The older version on my other phone is more enjoyable. It has more to offer, now several apps have to be used when I only had to use one. Real Bummer !

wouldn't let me create an account, said that "username was taken". I've tried usernames in different languages, I spammed gibberish, I copy and pasted the bee movie, literally nothing worked. this app clearly doesn't let you create new accounts.

I've had this app for 2 years, and it by far has the most consistently funny and edgy content. The community, although quite toxic at times is very entertaining and fun. The app isn't what it used to be but it still has plenty to offer.

community is trash usually the only things on the popular page are like traps, will downvote a normal trending meme but upvote a "like to get money" type of post. Profile picture are wonky and camera pfps get turned on their side randomly. The one account per device ruins wanting a fresh start or different type of page, and the app is clunky. All in all not worth your time.

It's alright but it seems like a lot of posts get privated and the people that get banned just make new accounts and will sometimes even admit to it and nothing happens but overall sometimes a good clip pops up and I get a good chuckle so I guess that's really what matters. I give it a 6/10

It's a pretty well-made app, fun and all.. but a lot of admins are pretty careless and have no intentions to follow the "rules". It's pretty annoying but otherwise, it's a great app! Download! 👍🏻

Good App, However the Ads still run in background. While on another app, or YouTube "Ads" still play over them. When fixed will re join.

Doesn't get updated, extremely buggy, way too many ads, and owner doesn't care for it anymore.

When i signed up it said one account for device and that account i had was from a year ago and i forgot everything about it so i can not even make an account now if the app developers are reading this get rid of that feature where you can only have one account on a device

Got a new device so I decided to create a new account but whenever I try to sign up it says "no proxies pal." Other than that it is a pretty well made app and a really fun community.

App is unusable, always giving me the "No Proxies Pal" pop up. I have no proxies, nor do I care enough to use proxies. At this point in time your app community is toxic, and this app is unusable.

I used to love this app, and I went to re-download it and it just would not me log In or sign up. Keep failing. Really disappointed

Creator has left app to rot, it would seem. It's nothing like it used to be - it had great moderators, a close community and great content - but it's pretty bad now.
