Plants vs. Zombies FREE

No matter the passage of time, this game never fails to live up to its name. Nothing less than brilliant, it deserves every award it's ever gotten. The saving system could use some work (device crashing = complete reset!), though. There are too many advertisements, yes, and money is likely going to have to be spent if you want to go beyond the main Adventure, but, then again, you ARE getting a genuine, free copy of one of the best games in history, so I guess you can't complain too much. :)

I love how in this game, unlike most games, allows you to turn off ads. Also, you can do everything that you can do on the paid version for PC. Also to everybody complaining about too many ads, just turn on airplane mode. Nothing in game requires internet. It's sad to see so many people leave this game due to a small issue with a very easy fix.

If you're here, there's a high chance you already played this before, so... It's the exact old plant vs zombie you used to play years ago, but with some ads. Although I personally don't mind the ads since it's optional to unlock some features. Overall, it's good, simple, and really nonstalgic. I didn't realize how much I missed playing this game.

The game is pretty fun but EA always knows a way on making a game bad by bombarding you with ads! you get an ad before and after a level plus two unlockable items in the level. Plus I got two ads IN A ROW and the second one had no x button which meant I couldn't get out of it so I had to close the application, good job EA, on making a great game almost unplayable.

Really good game in terms of concept and gameplay, but that came crumbling down when my game suddenly crashed and I lost all my progress. The game is also a lot different, and frankly worse, from the older versions. I reccomend it only if you don't hope to keep your progress by the end. Very fun game with a disappointing result. PC version is more reliable.

I am giving this game a 4 stsr even though the game itself deserves a 5 star , because of the ads. And even though I purchased ad removal, you have to play to the shop being unlocked to recover the ad removal apparently, if you've restarted or got a new phone. The ads were already bad enough by then I was ready to drop a review complaint about it for 3 stars at best. Still, the game itself is a classic and the music is highly enjoyable and memorable. iZombie all the way!

Used to play this on the computer as a child. In the beginning I was reliving that experience. The ads became progressively more invasive and many ended up being click traps that the game or my cellphone are not prepared to face (thus the game has to restart after I manage to close the pop-ups). That makes me -and many others, I see- frustrated and even angry. Almost used. I ask to myself what is the aim of a game for the consumer, if not a pleasant experience. This app does not provide it.

The ads aren't terrible, I won't even call them bad, but there should be an option to hide the extra lawnmower thing and the Rake which comes in every level. The only other flaws with it are that Imitater plants don't create colorless plants like in the original, and cattails projectiles do not face the enemy. Other than that, the game is perfect and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I played for over a month, very enjoyable! I made through adventure 1 and grew some plants in my zen garden. I played some challenges and I spent most of my time in survival mode which I really enjoyed. But for some reason, it all got deleted once the game connected to the wifi. I've only played the game offline to kill some time but it seems like it sometimes delete all the progress. Sad.

Overall, fun game. I've loved the franchise since popcap was an independent studio, and garden warfare is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. My only real problem is the ads. They're decently intrusive, enough to be aggravating. I'm totally fine with the optional "watch an ad to get a reward" type thing, as a lot of the time I use the free rake because I forget to buy them.😅 Overall, love the game.

I love Plants V. Zombies, I've been playing for years. It's the classic with a few ads here and there which I don't mind watching for a classic well put game. HOWEVER after defeating the first 10 lvls the game crashed and now won't even open. Was good for the first 10 lvls, but you seemingly can't go further than that

Plants vs zombies overall is a great game, with the gameplay being annoying at only a few levels. And I really love the art style that the game chose. With different mini-games, and spinoff plants, this game really deserves four stars. (I punched one star off because of the ad overload.)

The game itself is awesome. WAY too many adds. I can understand a few but every single time I click on something we have to go to an ad. Also I was 3 levels away from finishing adventure mode the 2nd time and the game reset and wiped everything. I won't be going through all that again so I'll be deleting the game.

I absolutely love playing this game! I've been playing it since I was a kid but there are a lot of ads and twice now the game has crashed and reset my progress. The first time I wasn't too mad about it because I wasn't that for along. The second time though, I had gotten pretty far. Update: I was able to get back to where I was in the game and I was almost done with the adventure 2 stage. I only had one more level left, then it went to an ad then it shut down and restarted me, again. Not happy.

This game used to be awesome but now I have to watch ads before and after every match. It also has many glitches. The game freezes sometimes and some functions don't run smoothly like before. I have to quit and restart the game many times. I understand playing it for free has some disadvantages but this is just too much problem. If buying this game will get rid of all ads and glitches, I would gladly buy it but there is no guarantee it will be so. Very disappointing...

It's still a great game but they've added a bunch of ads and annoying features. Because of course they did. Thankfully, they were too lazy to alter the core game. Pro tip: Turn off your internet connection while playing and all of the prompts for ads and such will be disabled. Update: Most of the ads are for clickbait garbage and some are borderline pornographic. Do NOT let your kids play this without disabling ads .

My progress was erased. And when I searched up if this was a "me" problem, it wasn't. It's been happening for years now on both PC and mobile versions and although yes it is an old game a few quality of life updates could still be implemented. People still play this game so it would be nice for the devs to take a look once in a while.

ah, nostalgia! It's a perfect adaptation to android. The add system is great. If you don't want to support the developers by paying only 3 bucks to get rid of all adds, the adds come in late, after many levels, and they're all 5 seconds. I wish more android games would adopt this strategy, I find it perfect.

I really do enjoy this game. The ads arent a huge deal, there are some that are annoying because you can't skip them (when its not for a reward) or some wont let you mute them or the x to close out is glitched(thats a specific ad though).However, this is not my biggest issue. My issue is that after almost completing the adventure game, getting a ton of achievements, and almost buying out the store with coins earned in game and essentially gaining a lot of progress, the game deleted all of it

This is a classic game that I very much enjoy. Would give it 5 stars but there is a MAJOR bug that resets the game progress itself. I have replayed the game twice and can confirm it was not my intention to reset the game progress. It hurts to me that all my achievements have been lost. Could be a mobile game bug since it probably doesn't happen in the PC version. I've read through other's reviews and it seems like they have the same problem as well. Hopefully this bug gets fixed soon.

I really REALLY loved this game when I played it when I was younger on the computer and I had a lot of fun playing it now! But as several of the other reviews say my progress was just suddenly deleted. Closed, ate dinner, opened, hours and hours of progress gone. It's extremely discouraging and I couldn't bring myself to replay everything. I wish I could recommend this game but it seems like you're just gonna loose your progress no matter what you do. I've done research and can't find a fix.

Update: 3rd time now that all progress has been deleted. Hours and hours of gameplay and unlocking things just...gone. Beyond upset. 😫 OG review: We paid to remove ads & it's great. Lots of replayability. Minigames and Endless are lots of fun and challenging. ZenGarden is great to build up coins to "buy" the additional minigames etc. I play w my son and he absolutely loves it. We have unlocked everything and never had to pay for anything other than that initial few dollars to remove ads.

Super game I like it the game is quiet and fun, but my first impression of the game was that it was slow. within the first hour of playing, I got bored. An "optional" increase in speed (x2) could be good. I like the game play, but the major constraint is the ads used. I understand that some are necessary, which follows a reward mechanism. There are so many levels, so many different types of plants and so many different types of zombies. Its awesome. A best game and I loved it well done Thankyou

I used to play this game and I absolutely loved it. I tried playing again and the game is still fun but the ads between every level are toxic, some cannot be skipped and they take over your audio. Also a button to watch an ad in game which is easy to accidentally click on and then you have to exit out of a pop up. I would pay money to play this game without ads but EA is too greedy for that and there is no way to remove them. Uninstalled.

The mechanics and all are nice, but I have a few problems with this edition. Quite often, I get ads that I can't even click off of and I'm forced to relaunch the whole game. It's really unpleasant suddenly being locked into a video for 10 seconds before I resume my game. And mini games shouldn't cost so much just to play- it really gives EA a bad look. These mini games on every other version of PvZ cost nothing and only have to be unlocked.
