Play Tube - Video Tube

The previous version of this was nearly perfect. It had ads, but it was still useable. Now it's non-stop ads, and annoying ones too. Click once, ad! Try to close it, another ad! Try to go back, yet another ad! If they dialed the ads back so you could actually use the app, it would get a higher rating. As it stands, it is unusable.

Far too many advertisements. It also doesn't help that there are innumerable instances where videos simply refuse to play, despite viewing the entirety of the advertisement. I gave this application multiple months to show improvement, not a thing has changed. You're better off utilizing Youtube, it's just like it, but far more intolerable.

This app used to be great for downloading videos from YouTube. I didn't even mind the ads since it was free. But for more than a week now it has stopped working, and even though the latest update (as of 2 days ago) has fixed the problem with playing videos, the updated version no longer gives you the option to download videos, which makes the app redundant. I will update my review and give 5 stars if the option to download videos is reactivated. Currently looking for a new app in the meantime.

I downloaded this app because YouTube vanced wasn't supported on my phone and heard this was an alternative. I saw 8 ads in the first 2 minutes of using this garbage app. I didnt even get to start watching any videos because there were so many ads and errors. This is the record for shortest time I've had an app on my phone. Dont even take a chance and assume people were exaggerating like I did.

Uninstalled only after an hr, I'd rather stick to the original YouTube, this has many ads, that some you can't skip regardless of you have ADSkip yes all the settings are correct. I don't like the layout, I guess it take time to get used to it, I don't have the time, I've read most of the comments below the reviews are justified

Useless application, would never recommend it to anyone (not even to my enemies). It is basically an advertisement watching simulator every time you try to do something you will get an advertisement. Would not be a huge problem but this application has the longest advertisements I have ever seen in my life. Please stop making application I would highly appreciate it. Thank you.

Lovely until now since just now I opened the app and when i wanted to pop up the video, it required me to click and watch ad. I did. Just when it finished, i tried pop up the video, another note float up to click the ad, I did it again. And here i thought it won't come back again, my expectations shattered one more time. So i'm starting to hate this app. Therefore, please do something about it.

Sorry to say but in this bug i noticed what is this app having popup option its good bt when video play in full screen or landscape mode & i tries to back, it won't run & stop it, i have to start again to watch again, at last i want to say here is no resume option in play tube. I missed one more feature what is auto play next video, if video has completed then it will not play next video like you tube having this feature. I feel too much ad experiences with this app which is annoying for users,

Absolutely terrible. More than one ad show up once you click on literally anything. I understand ads if the app is for free but that's way too extreme at least just make people pay and don't pretend that it's for free when it's barely useable due to excessive ads. I installed it and uninstalled right away because I couldnt do anything due to the too many ads.

This used to be the best app for downloading youtube videos, but recently I've been unable to. Everytime I click on a video nothing loads at all. There is no reason for this to happen; I have good wifi and I have even tried restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling & updating my phone. Nothing. This is the app's problem. Edit: After your update it loaded but now there isn't even the option to download a video...? That's even worse, it's the whole reason I got this app to begin with.

This app was amazing, it was anything I've ever wanted. For some reason, as of yesterday, this player stopped loading videos that I want to download even with internet. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled but so far nothing has been working. I hope this gets fixed soon because this player was the best one I've seen in a while.

What happen play tube?!you had a better simple version that was easy to use ,than you updated it to the point it isn't easy to use anymore I can't even download any video is from youtube anymore.go back to the old way that was working cause this way you have now is not working.there is NO download button! If there is one I would love to know where it is along with other people who can't find it! We would appreciate it!!!!!!!

Its a good app to use. I always depend on this app because I make edits and trim out sound effects from the audio but now it's not working and everytime I click on the video I want, it doesn't load. But it was a very good app. Please fix

Love this app. The no loud ad between play feature is great. I use it at night. Video play stopped before and were fixed with an update. They are not loading at all now. I really do love this app. please fix it soon.

You can actually somewhat download a few videos with this but the amount of ads that pop up is disgusting ngl. They show up every time you try to do something and you can't even skip any of them that are around 15-30 seconds or even longer. Until this changes, I'm probably not going to increase the stars.

Ruined. Loud and obnoxious unskippable ads came with the update and they are long as hell and extremely repetitive. There's a tiktok ad that is 45 seconds long and I had to endure it four times while looking for the option to download a sleep meditation video. Trust me, find another app if you appreciate your sanity.

I understand you need to support yourselves with advertisements every once in a while but it's ridiculous how there are advertisements literally every 10 seconds. It's completely unusable so I don't see the purpose of using it any further. This used to be such a good app, but now it's just mediocre.

This app used to be good, you would search up what you wanted, click on it, watch an ad and download it, you would then have like five more downloads before you watch another ad. But now you watch an ad literally every 30 seconds as well as one to download the video. I used to love this app and i would have rated it five stars but they ruined it. 2 stars until it's fixed would be 1 if it didn't just barely work.

Don't ever try to download this app I've downloaded it so many times thinking it's gonna change but nothing had. Ads are annoying because they show up non stop and you can't download anything. It sometimes has its own time that it's gonna allow you to download and other time not to download. I advice not to download it. I'm now gonna uninstall it from my phone after typing here

☺I really like this app but now it wont play any videos. You can search them, see the thumbnails,and ads but once i click the video the page is empty😢. I hope this changes soon, dont know what to do.

At last, i found an app where i can download and save any videos i search, even in youtube. I need to finish watching the ad for like about 30sec before downlowding, but it doesn't matter since it's free. Thank you.

I like this app because it has background so if you hear music with your phone off the music keeps playing but you make the list of music and then you hear music even though your phone is off but I gave it four stars because for some reason it didnt let me put background so I just deleted the app and I redownloaded it but it has soooo much adds it's good but annoying but I still like it its AMAZING you should download it in my opinion and if you thought this app was bad no hate on me plz🥺thx😌❤

Whenever I try to play songs from my playlist it keeps saying 'failed to play the stream'. I don't have any issue with internet connection. So why is this happening over and over again? And it also says that the content isn't available even when the content is still up on YouTube. Please fix it :(

I mean it is a great add... oops I mean app. There are way too many ads please fix and I will change to four stars. And some of the videos you can't even access it's making me mad. If you fix both I will change to five stars. Thanks.

This app was incredible, I didnt mind the ads, but now the option to download the vid has completely disappeared. The download button is no longer there, please help!

I'm struggling to find the point of this app. Yes, it has a list of my subscriptions. But I never get a notification when my subscription videos are released. Nor is there a list of all the released videos of the people I subscribe to.

Great app for downloading videos on youtube. However the consistent adverts are monotonous. Also at times if you play in full view you might have challenges to go back to the download handle

Used to be able to watch in background with screen off. Says it would be against YouTube's terms of service, so this app is useless. I might as well just use YouTube since all my subscriptions will be there anyway. This is a ridiculously terrible app, and you should not use. Ridiculous number off ads. Might as well use YouTube app as I'll at least know that some ad revenue will go to the creators. UNINSTALLED!

This app downloads Youtube. I don't mind the adds. Thank you 👌thanks for this app. I was looking for one that allowed me to download from wherever and whatever, I wanted and this is it. I found it. thank you Tere 👏👍 I got a new tablet wanted to download this app and it no longer allows me to download so it was nice when it worked some fortunate very disappointed but thanks anyway
