Polarr Photo Editor

This app was and still is somewhat my go to app for editing .. However, since I updated it, it's been very glitchy. Almost all my old filters have a black screen glitch over it, despite the instant export image being clear. When I save it, it's COMPLETELY covered in this black glitch. I've updated it and regret it. I just want to use my old filters with no issues.

The app is great, there's a useful future that photographer need like split tone, hsl, curve and also there is brush, color, radial, linear & luminance selection that you can adjust the light, color, sharpness, etc on your added selection. After an update, this app fixes the lag that I'm facing when zooming in the image I edit with and slider that's laggy when I sliding it. This app only support portrait orientation, it's not a big deal. Overall it's a good app! 5⭐ after that update.

This app used to be great. But them cheaping out on their software development has paid off. This image editor won't even reliably open images anymore. It's great when it works, but it's features have only barely changed for years now. Instead focusing on presets as if they're trying to be another photo filter app.

Black bezel between photo and white border. I don't why this keeps happening, I've cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled but the tiny black bezel is still there in between the photo and white border, it drives me nuts. Please fix this. This didn't used to happen.

i am an editor and i always need to use polarr app,i think it is a good app at first but i find that the filter i deleted then it comeback! That means i can't delete the filter! And i hate the new update because the new update people can steal others filter made by them! So i really hope polarr can delete the new update and do their work better!

This app is ridiculous!!! Like in first, the editing was soo easy. But now whenevet i open the picture and add filters and then try to save it, it doesn't save! It just applies a black screen which is so annoying trust me. Fix this or else reviews gonna be bad.

Are you ever going to fix the glitches in the app. Facial recognition still doesn't work. When you try to share photo to app, it loads default sample photo.. Your bombarded with filters instead of the basic edit interface.

4/25/22 newer updates still do not work properly. No face recognition. Sticking to Dec 2021 update. 2/16/22: Newer updates don't work with older phones (I have a pixel 4A for reference). installed a version from Dec 2021 that fixed the issue. EDIT on 2/6/22. Now the face recognition tool does not work on any photo and it doesn't recognize backgrounds or people really close to cancelling my subscription. What happened to the vintage styles? The ease at which one could add filters?

Recently, there are some glitches in the software that wasn't there before. Sometimes when using perspective tools like rotating canvas, it causes straight lines to become wavy and there is some visible artifacts on the edge of your image when adding a border.

It's a very good app..but one of my suggestion is that- u can give an option to paste the filters on videos too right??I mean that's not difficult..and we can find it very easy that we don't need go to google and do that long process to apply filters on videos.. please check on this..other than this the app is amazing..

I'm on a moto G9 play. The app is great, the biggest wants I have is better edge refinement. It's very obvious when you replace a sky 90 percent of the time or try to maybe blur around someone's head even manually brushing because the edges are a bit soft. object removal and stickers would be awesome too! Like flowers that go on your subjects head. Shadows for ambiance would be great too!!

Pretty good, however what makes it not very usable on android are absence of landscape mode and unavailability to overwrite original image instead of saving a new one.

Just like what the other feedback says, is actually a great app. But with the continous errors after applying a filter and adjusting some effects, the screen would turn black and will be pushed to go out of the app: back to the home screen. I really hope that this would be fixed because the app cannot be used properly. Even after trying to restart my phone, and clear caches, that bug still happens. Please do something about it as soon as possible. It would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

probably the best photo editing app i've used. but i have one humble request. please consider a more expensive one time purchase option along with subscription. sometimes people do not have money 24/7 and they shouldn't lose out on features after putting in hard earned money months before just because they can't afford it currently. i would love to support this app if it had a big one time purchase option.

It used to be a really decent mobile photo editing apps with plenty of good filters. Well ... Until the recent updates that got rid of the whole free filters. Now it's no longer possible for me to edit consistenly as the Film filters I used to use now are completely gone and trying to recreate the color tone from my past photo edited with Polarr is PITA. That being said, it's good that the photo editing tools are still the same and all can be accessed without paying anything....for now....

1/17/22: Downgraded from five to three stars because it no longer pulls up your recently edited photos when you click open. It's soooo annoying. They are also pushing their filters more, which is stupid. 3/9/22: downgrading again because the face detection no longer detects faces. Also new home screen is stupid social filters instead of edit screen.

I've paid to use this app now for a few years but with a new update it is glitchy and no longer detects faces. I've emailed customer support and they haven't fixed the app or offered any refund.

On my Tab S8 Ultra, it runs in portrait only, but much worse, it stretches all images so they are displayed about 50% longer than they are. Completely unusable.

the new update is terrible. it makes me confuse to edit. i prefer the previous version. please keep it simple since its only used to edit photos

The Filters are great, but it's annoying that every time I open the app to edit a photo it loads with the filters page.

This app is so great ! Has a fanpage on tiktok,but this the problem when I delete the qr code on polarr and was like it only blank or one coloring that different names. I don't understand why so I think fix it soon!

the app doesn't open any image. The loading bar gets frozen. App's gallery loader doesn't work, using android's file selector doesn't work, even sharing image to the app doesn't work. So, don't know if the pressing hold to see 'before' image is fixed or not, or custom crop ratio is added back or not. Because the app can't even load any image. Update: 8 Feb '22

Polar is a great app, I love it yet,i am not able to use it now because of some server conection problem even thou my internet is working fine.I've even tried unistalling and then installing it but it didn't work.I would like to request the developer to fix this problem soon cuz I really miss using polar😩😢

Used to love it. Now suddenly all the filters i had saved and used all the time are NOT free anymore. Care to explain?

it's so irritating! it won't let me save photos and automatically exits and make the screen and picture full black. I always need to repeat my editing just to save it but nothing's working! kindly fix

it was fine but there are dots and black lines forming on the picture's face whenever i adjust it. this didn't happen before but what happened for it to be like this? please fix this

Very nice. Previously, the application was difficult to use and ugly, but now it has become beautiful and there are also wonderful features. The application is no longer only for money. I liked this new update, I think it is the best filter application and I do not think that there is any better than it.

Please fix this whatever bug! Whenever i use black n white filter, on my pictures shows some black dots and it ruins whole editing! Fix it.

THIS WAS MY FAVORITE EDITING APP BUT NOW IT DOESNT RECOGNIZE FACES!!!! Please fix, then it will be 5 stars again. It won't even recognize different elements of the photo anymore (person, background, sky, etc)
