Power Media Player

I've tried many video / music apps over the last 2 months looking for an app that will find all my media with the thumbnail artwork (some can't find any media telling me I have none ! ) and also cast everything to chromecast on my TV. This app does it all with no problems. it looks like no other app I've tried. Most other apps use the same layout with small tweaks but this is like no other. Great looking. One small extra I would like to see is the thumbnail size customizable, larger or smaller.

It's a good media player and supports almost all file formats. But nothing exceptional here, my inbuilt default player does everything what it does. It can just play & pause, that's it, no other options. For ex. No subtitle, aspect ratio cange, equalizer, dual audio and so on and on. It has great capabilities but wasted.

Good enough app, even has a customizable background( which is what i went through 20 plus media players looking for), but the only draw back is that it only has list view for the files and not any other options like other media players. Make the background even more customizeable allowing me to add my own photo, and improve the lay out options, and this could be a 6 star app.

Overall, I like this app. I thought an update had included some unfortunate major changes, but it was a different app piggybacking this one. Those "changes" I hated so much went away with the piggybacking app when I deleted it. So happy, as I didn't want to lose this one. I do wish, if I temporarily exit, it would keep my selected playlist going. Oh well ...

1, Says it will play gifs but it does not play them 2. Can not change speed or transitions playing back basic jpegs 3. Jump forward or back buttons will not go to next photo...you have to manually swipe left or right to get to the next picture...I have latest version and Updates..but other then that, everything else is nice and works fine

Appears to be excellent but because the pictures projected on the TV are miniaturized just occupying the very center of the screen? what the hell! It might be related to the inability to rotate the phone and picture projected. Fix that and I'll gladly buy it.

This app is terrific although I wish it had an equalizer built into it maybe for the future, I used the Amazon music app for long time and there was always complications with that one and now I use this one solely. This app processes the music much cleaner and clearer than the other apps and organizes everything perfectly.

I am so excited about this media player!!! I can change the background with the variety of choices. I love the screensavers of the different images of what you have on file showing. You will see what i mean just download it and give it a try!!!!!

Sound is good quality. There is no way to add entire Folder that contains sub folders to a Playlist. You have to select each song by entering the Folder and then entering each sub folder separately and selecting all of the songs separately to add them to your playlist. Makes it awkward and time consuming. Pi Music Player is way better.

App is great all around. Would be nice if they added picture in picture mode for videos. Edit: Would also be nice if they had a sleep function for videos and music, so it doesn't play all night.

The app seems incomplete, currently using the Note 8. The apps menu buttons seem to get cut off by Samsung home or back buttons. While streaming home media subtitles aren't played, seems to missing out the functions from PowerDVD and crashes from time to time.

You need to make this app compatible with Android TV! There are millions of android tv users. Why not join the market. How many years has the Nvida Shield been out, and now even samsung is coming out with an Android TV box and this app wont work. Your PC app Power DVD is great but not everyone has a pc connected to their tv. I like to watch videos on my phone, but enjoy them more on my big screen tv. I would definitely pay for an Android TV app!

Best music and other media player I have seen for very long time, no unwanted backups, no other functions effecting the run of my device in not very good way and it works stable. Thank you ever so much.

I feel Cyberlink is capable of creating a better app than this, specifically with the audio interface: with several songs sharing the same title, it would be nice to see the artist's name displayed so I know which song I'm about to play. This is not true in multiple interfaces. The lack of this feature alone tells me there was no foresight and little thought put into this app's development, like the big wig at Cyberlink just said, "hey dev team, make an Android app...realease it tomorrow..."

only problem with it is I cannot see the bottom layout very well. its covered by the phone's buttons. I would easily give this app 5 stars if they could let me change the navigation layout!!

This App is bad-ass. Its user friendly high quality sound with an EQ so you can adjust the tone to your liking. It also plays all the popular file formats. I have it on several devices and I highly recommend it's use.

Very Very Impressed There's a lot of rubbish thrown together video apps out there in the play store.. But this is different, this is beauty and high tech in one perfect mixture.. You Devs are on to a winner here with this one.. I'm keeping this baby, buying the whole package and taking it with me with every new phone I buy in the future.. I've found my Video App 👍👍👍

I am very pleased with the look, functionality, and performance of the app, but the fact that some of the albums content are in alphabetical, rather than the correct order, is a deal breaker for me.

Power Media Player doesn't fully integrate with my car blue tooth radio (2014 Ford Edge). The apps needs more fine tuning. It could also use a duplicate song finder.

Awesome media player that allows for quick search and find of all media files.. wonderful power and clarity combined. This app is a definite go to when it comes to playing your favorite media files.

Could not stream any normal video to firestick. Only old mpeg files are accepted. Very poorly designed app. Even when playing video locally it's not possible to navigate without screen flick.

"loses" carefully set up playlists. resets to the beginning every time. expected much more but nothing like as good as the desktop player

I'm very pleased...use to watch videos and audio. Nice controls including volume which is missing in vlc. I didn't like the wood background there many more in settings :-)

As a Power Director software user, I looked forward to using this app. However when I read the permissions required, I decided it infringes greatly on privacy and decided to delete the app and not accept the permission request. This app allows various companies to read your social media posts among many other egregious invasions of privacy. I recommend that nobody agree to the permissions requested by this app and delete it from your device.

First good impression. But trouble with Universal Media Player. Does neither work with PIP nor recovers after a call disruption where I left off. Find movie again, relocate where I was? Thanks. Uninstall after rating.

Not a coaxed review here. I genuinely love the entire Cyberlink line of products. You will not be disappointed with the performance, quality, stability, or extra features they provide. in my opinion, they are worth every bit of their cost. 5/5 across the board on their mobile and desktop products.

Perfect it's all I needed for some reason my phone didn't come with a media player and all the other ones had to many ads and we're just trying to do to much. This app is perfect for what I need it for .

plays great. i use mine for streaming, gives a slightly fuller picture than VLC, doesn't cram, doesn't shift the focus of a scene, i.e. demphasize the persons therein.
