EPF stands for Employee Provident Fund. This is a fund managed EPF organisation(India Govt.) for all government and private employees who take part in this scheme.

Employee and employer contribute part of salary to EPF. However EPFO is not able to provide account holder's latest balance information. Account holder's are not able to keep record of their contribution which runs into lacs by the time of retirement.
