The last update on the app disabled the load funds feature again..... It's really frustrating and inconvenient for this not to be working. The last time the same thing happened and there was no notification on the app. I only confirmed the problem when I called the call center. It would be nice amount of funds is updated on real time. The trip history is also almost always wrong too.

Tried to load and pay for my monthly pass. Received message my payment did not go through, so I tried again. Learned both payments did go through. Now I have to wait 10 business days for a refund. I have had problems 3 out of 5 times using the app to load my pass. Will never use the app again for loading funds. Will use a customer service center instead. The app is good for checking your balance but otherwise it is too unreliable to process transactions.

Doesn't work well and it is getting worse over time. Used to be able to load on the go you can't any longer. It's not a great app and it's a hassle to use. I plan to deinstall it and use machines since the app is garbage.

It takes DAYS to update your current status(funds,transactions). So, you might have not enough money to pay for the ticket but the app shows otherwise. Sometimes it keeps on loading the logo. Closing the app doesn't fix it. This has been happening for months on random occasions. It's beyond annoying. *One year later and my review stays the same.* I got more to say, as of April 1, 2022 what is the reason of saved payment method if it doesn't even show up when I am buying a monthly pass?

It is a great app but recently, I noticed it is now incompatible with my Pixel 4a. I wonder if this was result Pixel's March security update or the Pixel 4a, which came out in 2020, was drop from the list of supported devices. UPDATE ON MAY 3RD, 2022: Looks like i can use the presto app again. It's probably system/security update that made my Pixel 4a incompatible with the app earlier. Hopefully, the Presto dev team will keep this in mind for their release update.

Saved payment option not available for loading funds directly, which was the only reason I'd used the app in the past. Waiting in line is faster than entering my card information in every time. Edit: alternatives with gpay exist, will update rating when original functionality re-enabled.

I am receiving low balance notifications when that option is DISABLED inside the app. Also you coded your app with random number categories for your notifications to prevent users from disabling single categories directly, I can't stress how such a horrible practice that is. I've disabled all notifications entirely for the app, I will not tolerate such terrible programming decisions.

I used to be able to load my presto card online and through the app. Now, no matter what payment method I try, it says declined. I even bought a brand new card and it has the same issue. I have tried reaching out multiple times and it has been months and no one has ever gotten back to me. Extremely frustrated with this service especially since I RELY on it to get to my job. It's a huge pain having to go out to load my presto card every time when I'm already too busy with my job. 1/5. Please fix.

The instant card loading doesnt work very well sometimes it doesnt load the confirmation circle when loading your card and then if you retry it causes you to put double payments on your card... Last update wiped all my information. Now when adding my bank card to saved payments it never saves and I have to put in my information every time I try to load my card. This service keeps getting worse

I made an account and as my credit card is getting verified it makes me sign in and I tried multiple times but its saying my email is wrong or my username is wrong. So I now I cant even sign in to the app. I checked to see if it worked on my laptop and it does it's just not working on the app.

Great app for what it does but why can't I arrange which card that shows up first. Even if I wanted to delete a card or two and add it behind the one I want at the front, I would have to report them Lost/Stolen. Even if the option to rearrange was buried deep in the settings, this app needs it, it's a time saver.

This thing is so STUPID. "Username must consist of 6 or more characters" pops up after putting 6 characters. I put my email and still an error. With each Update gets worse and worse. Make it make sense.

[UPDATE] I used it once and it worked fine. I used it the second time because I wanted to put money in my Presto card. As many people commented that they get stuck on the loading screen to load money. I'm experiencing that as well. I did not refresh it because I fear the double payment. I don't even know if the payment went through... The only thing that works is checking the balance using NFC. This app had potential...but if you can't fix the primary purpose of the Presto, then this app is honestly useless. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Old Review] I have yet to encounter any problems using Presto. Im still a new to this app, so no bugs or anything critical encountered me yet. I do love the NFC feature for sure. I really thought I wasn't going to have enough balance for the transit, but NFC saved me for sure. The balance loaded instantly! I'll keep the review updated.

Autoload not working. It takes me to a page that says its unavailable. Edit: Still not working. Please fix asap as this is just getting annoying. You guys updated the FAQ menu before the auto load feature... get your priorities in order.

Perfectly usable however, it lacks an essential function in my opinion. The cards are mifare desfire ev1 chips which smart watches can easily emulate but I can't use my presto card with my watch. Would make 5 stars if I could use my watch to pay with presto, or have the card integrate with google pay.

I tried adding money with my Credit card only to realize they took this feature out of the app, but I can still use on the presto.ca site which DOES NOT HELP ME WHEN I HAVE NO MONEY LEFT ON MY CARD AND I AM TRYING TO GET ON THE BUS! Like why would you take that feature out, I don't like adding my credit card to Google pay so now I have to make sure that I top up the day before because it takes 24 hrs on the website, when it was so convenient to top up my card with my Credit card from the app!

Wish this app could show basic train schedules, have the ability to tap using NFT, would link to google or Apple pay, etc. Basically have modern day functionality. I never use this app, but I wish I did with these added things that would change user experience dramatically.

I like using this app a lot! Just the new update, for some reason, is messing up my google pay option. Whenever I go to do it, it says "Payment Declined" and I have funds to make payment for it. Please fix this in the next update, please! Other than that, still a good app!

Such a garbage app for such an otherwise fantastic service. I am circuitous hell; need to sign in every time and it WON'T LET ME...it rejects my email address and password and kicks me out every time I do manage to sign in. Terrible app.

Don't even deserve one star..worst app..it does not even show balance after one week...I lost $30!! And when it demands for an account sign in, it doesn't verify my email...and when I put in card details , it shows the card is not Registered..and when I go on the website to register it..it shows the card is registered..worst worst worst app...my account and money is stuck..never recommend this app

The app works well. But I think it is very poorly optimized I got on the bus and I do not have funds I will quickly recharge more funds and it is a long time it is uncomfortable the truth. Not bad to comment on it just I just want them to do better!

hello, I Think, There have a bug in this mobile apps.When someone load the amount of funds, and that time instantly(within 10/15 minutes) he/she use this card then he get extra same amount of funds.Example: suppose I load 10 dollars to my presto card,now if i instant use this card with 10 or 15 minutes, I will get again 10 dollars fund.but i load only 10 dollars and get 20 dollars. I face this 2 times.so please solve this technical issue. Thank You.

No longer loads the card during "load funds" but does read it for balance checks, so it's not a card issue or a reading issue. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the app.

Why on earth can you not transfer card funds? It's embarrassing how they force you to just waste $6 and keep buying new cards. Also, the technology is CLEARLY there to make this NFC phone payable. Let us tap on with our phones, for all that's good in this city.

It's an easy to use app I use it all the time to add time on to my bus pass and sometimes put on a monthly bus pass. Anyways that's a good app easy to use.

I've had that app for years and my complaint has always remained the same. The sign in process is not consistent and need a fix. Biometrics sign in option for instance only works a couple of times and then it completely disappears from the sign in screen.
