Don't use the app. I used it once. They booked a smoking room without any indication before or after the booking. I called the hotel for something else when they told me it's a smoking room. It took 7 calls to Priceline and about 4 hours of call durations to get them to help me. Finally they agreed to cancel provided I booked another room with the same hotel with off course a higher price. And the irony is that they call me a VIP customer.

I don't normally review apps with a lot of ratings, but I received *EXCELLENT* customer service from this company. The app is super functional as we rooms on the fly on a trip we extended and it was easy to get good, cheap rooms. One night I messed up booking and they squared things for me -- WHEW! THANKS!

it does have good rates but sometimes for the whole time we been using it, sometimes the deals are not that great, and mentions canceling fees, when the one time we try canceling was a mess with the runaround, and the "fee" was literally the whole reservation amount for the day we missed, so yeah no fee?? they just kept our money, and honestly that is b.s. don't even say the hotel will keep a fee, just say they will take your money and they don't help you at all

Dishonest pricing. Several times I've reserved through priceline at a "deal" only to be charged an additional $100-500 for a "deposit" at the hotels, most of which aren't listed in the booking information. If you book a "non refundable" booking without knowing there would be a large deposit, you cannot cancel or you'll lose your money without even being able to check in at the hotel. And I'm a "Gold" member...

If you ever make a mistake in your booking... Dealing with Support and getting a refund has been a nightmare. I've called 4 times, been transferred everytime or to refer back to someone else. I was instructed to inform the Hotel I booked to cancel / modify the reservatio, which I did. The hotel then informed me that Priceline made the reservation and is the only one who would be able to cancel / modify my reservation. I am still having this issue over the course of 2 days as I write this.

1: List OF Peoples homes like an Air BnB and VRBO. Dislike this so muchA I want hotels only 2: STILL on my screen when I scroll, there are 2 images scrolling over each other, makes it hard to see hotel details. Uninstalled/ reinstalled and it did not fix problem, updated 4/25/22 3: search criteria does not stay after looking at a place and going back to the list of recommendations. Have to filter/sort by EACH TIME. 4: no ♡ function for favorite places. Why take away all the best things ?

Every time I try to pay for a ticket the price either doubles or says "fare not available". Now it gets to the 4 minute wait time part, says it can't confirm, and kicks me out. I spoke with a Rep and she said "I need you to know that fares change dramatically every minute every second". I asked if that was for my knowledge or her answer to my problem? To which she answered "Yes. We don't control the prices." Price gouging is bad enough from the airlines, but this is pure FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!

prices sometimes end up being cheaper going through the hotel directly over using the app that is a issue that should be looked into as well as that if you have a bad experience with a hotel your customer service members should have more options available then hoping the hotel will return the money I have dealt with this many times most of the time I just take the loss and find a new one rather than waiting on hold for hours while they try to get a refund from the hotel. I love Priceline 👍👍👍

We had the absolute worst experience EVER with any hotel and it was non-refundable. We ended up driving home for 4 hrs. It was at the Econo Lodge Downtown, Salt Lake City, UT. anf they booked us in a room where other people were already staying.(very uncomfortable) The hotel was disgusting...staff was rude. They would not refund. Priceline customer service was amazing, thank you so much for helping me get a refund and making this experience go a lot better! I highly recommend to anyone

For some strange reason I was able to add my card but not pay with it on the app, then I went directly to the website via Google, and what do you know I had no problem paying with the same card, please fix this, it is extremely distressing when one is on a timeline.

This is FRAUD. Stay away from this APP and their service. At time of booking there is NO indication for no cancelation policy. Just after the booking the emal confirmation indicates no cancelations. Prices are in USD which is NOT indicated anywhere in the app and are higher than direct booking through hotel. It has absolutely zero customer service. Was 40 minutes on hold, talking to automated service. Finally got through to the agent. They did not have my reservation and refused to pay back

I booked a trip through priceline, showed up at 12:30 am because my flight was late and priceline canceled my trip without an email notification or any type of contact. I still have been charged for this even though I had to get another hotel. I nearly had the same issue with renting a car. Don't trust priceline or any 3rd party for future reference.

When everything was so easy booking I thought ok this is cool. Not so much, I rented a car for a vacation I took when my son came down for spring break. We pay to park our car and tool a shuttle to pick up car. We get there with all of our baggage in hand just to be told we needed a major credit card, it didn't matter that I was able to book thru Priceline with my debit card. Nope entire was trip ruined. We obviously try to cancel hotel rooms and told no cancellations at all. We lost over $500!!

I used to absolutely love Priceline! I had the worst hotel problem ever, and they simply just didn't care. The customer service is the worst I called back over and over begging someone to help me. (I am a very seasoned traveler). In 40 years I've never had a bad issue, not ever! There are much better booking sites out here now... It's a shame when they stop caring about people as well as there reputation! I would travel because of Priceline. They are not the same...trust me. RUN...

Customer service has been giving me the run around for 3 days now. I've talked to atleast 7 different customer service reps and still don't have my money back. I booked 6 days at a hotel they immediately took the funds before check in and by the time we got to the hotel to check in they couldn't find our booking and when they finally found it somebody had cancelled it on Priceline's end making us have to pay again out of pocket so we weren't sleeping outside. Absolutely uncalled for.

Photos quality is horrible. Photos are all zoomed in and not original size. Prices are inaccurate and misleading. $198.46 for 3 nights is $594.46 but taxes and fees are over $200 and being paid to Priceline AND the hotel. Taxes & fees $119.76 added is $714.14 and needs to be paid to Priceline to reserve Hotel then when I get to the hotel another $135 in taxes and fees are due to the hotel. I called the hotel and got a cheaper price by cutting you out SMH

It's easy to make a reservation. However, one can not use their discounts with any of their hotel reservations 🤔😡 It tells you , "No discounts/coupons with this reservation" 🤬 I have tried to call & speak with an agent , with no success Priceline you need to fix this !!!!!!. I made a reservation on Priceline on 5/12/2022. I made this on their app which I had downloaded and used many times. l made the reservation under the so called VIP discount. I paid $96.97. As soon as I finished, I tried to find the reservation number. I could not. Nothing was sent to my email. Till today they are saying that I made no reservations. They took my money, expecting me to let them keep my money. No sir! Use Priceline at your own risk!

Rating as a Canadian. The app was obviously made for US residents, so not ideal for Canadians. All prices are USD and cannot be changed. Thought the prices were unbeatable until I realized this. Glad it was before I booked anything.

They advertise great deals and refunds. Several times I have booked a hotel with specific dates selected just for the dates to change in the verification window. Then when you call to have the dates fixed. Priceline say oh there is a no refund, no cancelation, change of date policy with this establishment. Sorry still gonna take your money. What happens when you fat finger your dates and you need it changed. Hahaha nope get bent. This Priceline app is highway robbery. I will tell everyone I see.

I really want to like this app, but for the past few months, when I open the app it gets stuck on the blue Priceline page. It won't load anything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled only to have it get stuck when loading.

Sometimes the best deal comes from priceline. I also like the discounts they send after your stay, I just wish they applied anywhere every time instead of just express deals as I have rewards at certain hotel chains so I am somewhat brand specific.
