ProCam X - Lite ( HD Camera Pro )

I originally installed this app for the purpose of using it to attempt to photograph comet NEOWISE; since, it is supposed to be able to do long exposure astronomical photography. I haven't figured that part out yet. However, it does work well for taking photos. And, I love the date/timestamp feature. Overall, it seems like a really good photography app. However, the manual control features do come with a learning curve.

Best Camera app for Android smartphones period. It's focus is a little slow, but pictures are crystal clear. You can even take nice pictures of the clouds. Some camera apps won't do that. I suggest you try yours. The app also lets you autofocus the lighting of your pictures simply by tapping on the screen. The design is also real straightforward and easy to use. I don't know what else to say, so please people, quit asking me to write more detailed reviews. I've tested 7 apps and this one wins.

Just downloaded to get some Northern lights photos and it worked brilliantly. Had a slight hitch where it stopped taking photos and had to uninstall and reinstall, but I tried a lot of others after this one stopped working, and this was the best, just a bit glitch. 5 stars even though I had to the reinstall, it is free after all. I did actually download the paid version to support the creator but it didn't seem to work.

This has pretty good settings, for someone with intermediate skill at least. If you have taken at least two explanative photographic courses in photo this is great. But I also have quite a bit of practice and some medium experience. It turns your phone into something pretty good. But you probably get what you pay for kind of. But I am blessed to have this.

I've only had the app for approximately a week, however I couldn't be more pleased. The clarity of the pics have been exceptional. It's easy to navigate through, many options for you to customize it to your needs. I look forward to our long standing friendship with Pro Cam X-Lite.

I'm looking for shutter speed priority mode. This app makes the attempt. For now it fails. First, setting the shutter speed changes the exposure so that's all manual, I think I made exposure auto but it reverted after a photo. More importantly I tested by picking selfie cam and press shutter while turning in a circle. An SLR would blur the background. The app wouldn't trip the shutter until I wasn't moving.

Intervals not working as expected. I tried multiple attempts, but could not get the desired result. I'm looking for a timelapse shot, mostly so you can so light changes over a long period of time. When I select intervals, all I get is a bunch of single photos at different times, rather than one photo over the entire time. If anyone knows how to correct this I would love to know. Until then, I won't be using this app.

Hyper-sensitive pinch zoom, no selective focus zone. The default Samsung Galaxy S8 camera is almost as detailed in pro mode, as this is, and Samsung has tap to focus on any area of the screen. There is no tap to lock exposure nor focus anywhere on the screen on this app. The only thing it can do is to zoom in in selfie mode (front camera) which doesn't seem to exist on the Samsung stock camera. Not worth paying for.

So far the ability to manually change many of the features is absolutely great. I really love this application. I am however MISSING the ability to point and focus (in thsame way I can do with my native camera). I'd expect this simple ability to even be available with manually changing the focus (f-stop aperture) , It should be possible to change the field of depth and still select a particular object to indicate that the Focus is only on that.

Really a good app of all those found in play store without ads!!! But everytime I return from gallery is says "failed to start camera preview" and doesn't let me click any photo...To fix this it has to be removed from recent apps then launch again °_° disappointed with this issue.

The app is amazing. I awarded five stars for the high quality as well as the lack of ads. But if your app had ads like the rest, I would give the lowest score and also delete the app. Anyway, thank you for the unique and wonderful application

I really want to like this app but unfortunately I can't! Where is frame rate setting? Why I can't turn on the flashlight while shooting video? Why I can't turn on and off stabilization? Why I can't change the grid shape? Please fix it so I can use it.

Finally a realistic camera app has been found. Options are detailed and need-based. Rather than other apps with childish filters and all, this is a manual control app what I was actually looking for. Plus bingo, it's add-free! One issue noted, the max capacity it shows to capture at 8.1 mpx while mine has a 20 mpx front and a 12 mpx rear cam. Some update is needed here.

You have to buy the full version, even to fully test it. If they unlocked full version for 24 hours, it would get more stars. I have 108mp camera, and I can do some amazing stuff with it, with the right app. But, I am not buying an app to see if it will use the full power of the camera correctly cuz it locks it at a crappy 8mp, what is it, 1998? I had 8mp when I graduated in 2000... Sorry 😔.

Nice features but slow response and glitchy when switching back and forth in scenes and other settings. The 8 mp limitation is kinda crappy especially if you're used to having 12 and dumbing down to 8. I'll have to tinker with is some more before deciding if I want to commit to the pro version idk if it's likely since I'm not exactly trying it out on my full camera mp.

I love this app! The features are amazing, but I do have one issue. When I turn of HDR mode on my front camera, I can't take any pictures. The white border that indicates a photo being captured just freezes, and it won't save the photo at all. Please fix this! :(

Best camera app, but sometimes app is slow. When kept focus in auto mode can't capture picture and flash is always in auto mode. Can't turn it off. I want to upgrade to paid version. But due to flash and focus issues i'm thinking. Please resolve these issues as soon as possible. I want to experience full facilities of paid version.

Disappointing. Took so many great photos of a tiny macro object with my lens and loved the potential of this app as it has manual focus, but it crashes like crazy and of the 30-40 photos I took it only saved a single one. That really pissed me off because now I have to redo everything. So useless. Don't waste your time on this app. Uninstalling. :(

This app i the best manual camera settings app could find on top of that it's easy to use, I absolutely love it, too underrated! I was able to shoot at really high frame rates and with really high quality in sunlight but if you want to do this do it in short bursts of 5-15 1m max cause it takes some processing power and heats up the phone, thankyou -the creators of this app!

Took all but 5 seconds to uninstall, this app is for people with low budget phones who need a boost for their camera. Adds basically no value to any phone with a camera that has more than 8mp, especially to any new phone that has two plus cameras, it shuts one off and turns the camera down to 8mp if you don't pay for the full version. I'll just use the pro mode on my note

Guys really? I was considering purchasing full version but I discovered really bad bug.... Display shows the area of picture that I'm about to take and then I take picture and when I review picture I just took, for some reason it's heavily cropped, what is that about???

I like the fast shutter, and i can change the brightness of the screen, unlike nervy other app. Only con is that the app is always in landscape mode.

Seems like it has the features I want... And fill everything missing from the Google camera app... And a much much nicer UI than open camera, unfortunately doesn't seem to play nice with the pixel 6 pro.

it's what I've been looking for in camera app (small size, great pictures) definitely way better than my stock camera with flexibility. it's not totally free so it's 4 star for me. but all in all I love it. I recommend this to anyone who is running out of space or want to maximize space capacity of their SD cards.

Absolutely amazing! I used it to capture my assignment for online schooling with the thought of having it deleted after, but when I noticed how sharp the focus was, how great the ISO factor blended in with it, and the full user control made the photos absolutely amazing! My Oppo A12E doesn't have the best camera reputation, but I think your app can fix it. Thank you so much for creating this, and I hope you guys add more features! Looking forward to shutter speed + aperture if possible! ✊😁😄

Possibly the best time interval app. But there is one foul up. On stills at 1 min interval it takes 63 seconds between shots. It shoots and records then restarts the timer. A basic error and critical for me. So only 4 stars. Please fix this .

Great camera app with many controls always within reach. The icon-based interface is intuitive and well thought-out. For €5,29 you can unlock resolutions above 8 megapixels, video clips longer than 5 minutes, and extensive time-lapse functions. Recommended! A+
