I can't say how useful this app has been!!! This is something I needed so bad but I did not know about! Absolutely deserves all the ad revenue collected, it make the pomodoro technique so easy to be implemented. I knew about pomodoro technique long back but I was never able to achieve it nor see its true potential .. I never thought such simple app can boost productivity to insane levels. MIND BLOWING
The app is awesome and makes me super productive and willing to study, I also love the humour and whatsoever , but I miss two features, one is the app blocking or the whitelisted apps (where I can choose some apps to use during the timer and the other apps are blocked) Cause sometimes I get distracted and waste my time on other apps , this feature will be really helpful:)) Also some white noise will be cool like rain, wind, river, Ocean, airplane, etc Thx for the efforts :)) keep up the spirit :)
Hugely helpful app. Keeps me working when I want to be slacking, and seeing how much time I've *actually* spent on past projects has really helped me with accurate (rather than optimistic) time predictions for new tasks. Read the app description first as this app won't be for everyone, but if you are a grad student (or similar) I can't recommend it highly enough!!
Truly helps you to stay accountable! I found very funny the way the developer connects with its customers 🤣, he tells you to stop making excuses and just do whatever you have to do. Very straightforward. Recommended.
Super helpful, motivating, easy to use without the bells & whistles so many other apps add in that end up being added distractions! Perfect for helping my ADHD brain get through tasks I struggle with.
The app felt a bit ostentatious in its banter when I first started, but with true grit against laziness I realized the tasteful wit and charm it possesses. Put the work in (to whatever project folder you make) and it rewards you with achievements and stats. Great app.
One of the best apps in this category ! If Forest and other timers didn't work for you this certainly will but on one condition that you have to open it each day and become determined to use it. Once you developed the habit you can stop using it and use a stopwatch instead and then gradually stop that too & become productive without a device becoz that task will become a habit by then.
Good at gamifying long tasks without being too distracting. As someone with ADHD, this is one of the best focus apps I've found, and the touch of sass is great as well.
I use this app a lot. Gives that certain motovation to pick a time slot and finish as much as possible within that time. The fact that there is a break option, helps a lot even if you, like me, dont really take a break. But knowing that its there, makes getting into grove 25 min at a time easier. I would like if the app had connection to calenders and a timer setup outside the pomodoro.
Has helped me so much. So I'm 49 and recently diagnosed ADHD, and have struggled so much to focus and concentrate on work, and never managed to build myself a routine to get longer term tasks done in good time. Instead working by hyperfocus, cram and firefighting. I've been using this app for about three weeks I guess, and it's helped me so much to just focus and work. The comments are a bit snarky sometimes, but I've managed to get so much done. Bought the full version. Definitely worth it!
This is the best pomodoro app I have tried and combined with todoist it is really very powerful. I have been using it consistently for 3 months now and the levelling up process is just enough to keep me motivated without getting too complex. The statistics feature is really great and the messages are written with humor. Two minor points: I hope the developer may add more intermediate achievements in the future as it seems like you get a lot at the beginning but then they become very rare. As well there is one achievement 'I can't work under these conditions' which im not sure is working. However these are just minor points; I really appreciate this app and will be upgrading to pro.
Been using the app for a day or two and just unlocked pro. This is just what I needed. I wanted a tracker and timer without a bunch of fluffy features. The achievements are a nice touch. I started seeing benefits on day one and it's helping me change my habits. I am spending more time focusing and less time constantly context switching. I can also see where my time is being spent easier. I like that I can also make backups to MY drive account and not someone else's cloud storage. And, I like the way they handle privacy compared to a lot of other apps.
First of all, I have to say I love the app and the concept behind it. I am getting stuff done. The reason I'm not giving it a full 5 - stars is that I really hate the visual style. I hate to look at it. Lack of light theme and black/dark blue isn't doing it for me. Those are the colors of the night. Time for rest. Yet they are used in a productivity app. The propaganda - themed pictures are a great idea! But poorly implemented. Seek inspiration in Soviet propaganda posters. Still recommend d app
It is perfect and straight to the point app. Easy to use as well. I'm not sure if it's OK to request the feature where I can toggle the option to write in the title per session (ex. Revisions) under Work project after completing the session. If this is impossible to implement in the app, I understand and thank you so much for creating this app! It has helped alot.
I view my work duration on an all time scale. This new graph, despite attempted improvements, has left behind previous, visible day-to-day, dotted line graphs, which I missed. I want to see drastic drops and rises on a daily basis, even on an all time scale! Not blue areas and definitely not removal of coordinates (dots). Otherwise, app's flawless. Thanks!
It's a great app. Comfy viewing of statistic, ability to manage several habits or projects, neat. I would pay for it. But denial of opportunity to stop a session is a huge drawback for me. If I count my studying hours and I plan long sessions but something unlooked-for happens I can't pause it, I have to stop my session and lose that time I spent productively. My statistic's unreliable. I can do many small sessions, but this makes the app uncomfortable, it's sad. It could be optional function.
Brilliant app! The app is literally turning me into a hard working person. It is designed in a way that requires honesty, and makes it harder to deceive ourselves. If you follow the rules (no distractions and actually working in your projects during each work session) you will soon find yourself curious as to how far you can go in productivity. The stats and rank system help a lot with motivating me to stay the course and to surpass myself. Also very fast support by email. 5 stars!
It's a great app. I like to use the continuous mode because, for me, it can be distracting to have to set it every few minutes. The developer's achievement descriptions are witty; this is one factor that makes it better than other apps I've tried. Because I tend to hyper-focus when I get going, I also include chill time as one of my self-care activities.
Probably the best Pomodoro app out there. The interface is not the greatest, but the functionality more than makes up for it. My only complaint is that the documentation could be better since there are lots of features that I am only now discovering. Also, every time I go into the settings, there is a bug that makes the notification sound activate.
After updating to the latest version on my tablet, the stats options are no longer available and the graph disappears sometimes. Also, when trying to set any value at all in settings, the window that appears has red background and no (or red) text. I can still select a value, but I can't see it before selecting it. P.S. these bugs are only on tablet version and only in landscape mode.
Just exactly as I needed. I tried it out for a month, the sounds was so irritating and the ranking system names are so annoying it actually motivated me to work haha I tried other apps, and the passive approach didn't work on me. I went pro mode, and the 99 projects helped me be more specific about my tasks. Honestly, I have compulsions and need for order and control often make me a hybrid between a procastinator and a perfectionist. Thanks dev, you did a great job.
The idea of the app is good and I love the humor and the promotion/demotion feature however it is really too bad that the main and most important feature doesn't work, the notifications. I made sure I have no battery saving settings on and that the application had all of the permissions, I tried changing the notification channel from media to alarm and still it never works until I turn the screen on to check the time and discover that the session or break has been over a long time ago.
It's a very good app, especially for those who are struggling to make some headway with their goals- be it related to study or work. It helps you kickstart the journey to more productivity by giving frequent alarms and reminders - the shrill bugle it sounds is in particular quite effective. The snark with which the app playfully reminds you to power through or berates you for falling short is another good feature. Highly recommended.
