QR Code Reader

Frequent autoplaying full screen video ads with sound! The app works ok, but not great. I run into lots of 2D barcodes that it does not recognize (other apps do). Even if it were great, I'd give it a one star review due to the ads. There is a special place in hell for autoplaying audio ads, and video is worse! It is not even just once in awhile, it's every 1-2 scans! There are plenty of these apps out there that are as good or better, with tolerable ads. Let's support those that respect us.

I like the app very much.You must install the app if you need to scan any QR code or etc. In my experience it had always shown the correct web answer. But at the same time you can face the problem of low speed , it may result of particular device or internet quality of your region.

I was told to delete this app because of suspicious advertising behaviors. I have never had a problem with this app in 2 years. Updates are manually done by me. Reading reviews others have had this experience so I will miss this app. Too bad it is susceptible to this behavior. It is still on the play store though so if you are willing to take the risk, it is reliable and efficient.

Does exactly what I need it to do. At my university, we sign attendance using QR codes, and I used to be one of those who got left behind coz everyone had super fast QR code scanners. This app helped me with that problem. Scans and brings me to the link really fast. Idk why some people have issues with the app, I don't get that many ads, and they're hardly disruptive. Really worth it, being a free app. Five stars, easily.

Not annoying stupid pop ads every single time I try to do anything like every single other scanner app I've tried. Thank you for finally making a great scanner app that I can not only use without ads making me mad but it also finds the actual item of the barcode or qr code that I scan.

Seems like it works well and fast right out of the box. No code clutter it's also a small app. Only permissions needed are for the camera and the advertisements are ever present but discrete. Seems like a winner

Quick and easy. It was able to read a QR code taken from a poor quality image of an onscreen error. Has ads but they don't get in the way.

I have been using this app for several years now & it is WONDERFUL!!! It has never let me down. It is always ready and true. i love the history feature...a real time saver. if you are looking for an easy, safe & reliable qr reader, download this app asap. It is that good!!!

Edit 2: Now has a deceitful and manipulative "OPEN" button right under a static ad, which is against google play policy. REPORTED. Remains 1 star, but now I will avoid any apps by this dev as they are an exploiter. Edit: full screen adverts forced now. Disruptive. Loses all stars. Was 5 stars. 2019 - My preferred QR reader. Not any more.

very good for white on black qr codes if you change the setting in the app to allow it. quick too . just too many ads whilst trying to scan.

Doesn't work. Gives an error page every time a QR image is scanned. Most restaurants are using QR for menus and this app hasn't worked once. Garbage. Nothing but ads and error pages.

quick to read and open up link, was able to use immediately without interruption of ads, did not ask access to a bunch of my phone functions!! love it.

Simply the best. I changed phones so i had to install a new QR Code Reader, the other ones did not work as expected so went to look for this specific one.

Most often, I use the app for finding values of items in our charity thrift store, items often decades old. It saves so much time and does what it supposed to do.

It's simple and straight forward. Gets the job done and shows you want you want. I recommend to anyone who needs a snappy reader on the fly.

Great free app. It's always worked and done exactly what it's supposed to do. Simple, slick, intuitive. No need to look elsewhere.

This app has been good until now. They recently started pushing audio ads at full volume. It has to go!

Scans fast. Though from time to time, i do get to links that are not relevant to where the QR comes from. Not sure if its app issue or QR.

Seems to work quickly and efficiently, no technical troubles or bothersome ads. A good app.

After you scan your item it immediately goes to what the text ot item is that you are scanning. Great app works well in school.

This app saves me lots of time, it keeps me from having to reprint paperwork because of not being sure if the complete barcode printed.

Turns my cheap tablet into a high end barcode reader. Haven't found anything yet that it can't read correctly first try.

Bad bad app. Used to work ok but suddenly started putting weird ads on and locking the phones back button. Avoid at all costs, violating google policy.

Forced to let ads run for sometime before users can close the ad windows in order to scan QR code. Good Luck incase of emergency! I'll be UNINSTALLING this app!

App works fine, no issues. Screen shot shows no ad, but in this app there are ads.

very quick and easy, let's you know what the link is and gives you the option to go. Instead of it straight taking you to God knows what link.

Besides the advertisement it has, this QR Code Reader is very useful by it not letting you wondering why does it not know this bar code. It is quick to scan the item, too.

once you scan you have a lot to look at, but it's really easy to use and much better than many other QR readers.

I'm a newbie and struggled a bit but in the end it did what I wanted - to scan a qr code. I don't like the ads though.
