QR Code Scan & Barcode Scanner

As soon as you press the button just scan the barcode, suddenly an ad comes up blocking your ability to decode the barcode. This is extremely frustrating and makes this application absolutely worthless. There's a lot better apps out there. This one is useless.

bs app...terrific time waster. it difficult to focus and you spend too much time trying to capture the code. might as well Google the numbers. Update: improvements seem to have been made and now it works seamlessly. Updated my review to 4 stars because of the rocky start

Scan codes unable to differentiate between what you scanned and sometging being advertised, which is usually displayed directly in the center of the screen. Very frustrating.

Use to work good however now i can't get around the adds to actually use the scanner and if i do get to the point to scan you cannot see the results as it is blocked by more adds. No longer worth using anymore.

This app beats all the other apps that scans barcodes. It's easy to use and very accurate. It's an older app but still out does all the newer ones!!

CAREFUL with first screens. A couple of them take me to other websites. it didn't do that before. I carefully backed out and it scanned the QR code correctly.

Content of the barcode scanner that I hot is in English not sure if is in other languages though. And I am guessing that I'm not on it long enough to know if there are disruptive adds so my answer to that would be no, or not sure.

Disappointed. it has worked in the past. but this morning every scan resulted in an advertisement, sometimes even before i scanned the barcode.

Costco doesn't do a thing for places like Alaska & Hawaii. This of course is yet another offer not good in Alaska. The Blinds offer company didn't call us until the offer was over! The AC company and flooring companies never showed. Try to get an automotive discount here. Most items such as patio sets they charge so much to ship here you have to forego them unless money means nothing to you. Only our daily purchases get out Excutive Membership cost back.

Worthless. Cannot switch to 'selfie' camera. Cannot turn on flashlight in lower light situations.

I couldn't use it effectively because every single time I tried, an ad popped up and interfered. Ridiculous. I would rather pay for an app I can actually use.

so frustrating when barcode comes up as a VIN # or package tracking # when scanned. but great and useful app for sure. helped me return a lot of unwanted items without having to ask someone for a gift receipt.

Worst Worst app... Just promoted for Ads. Such an ad placement, You can't read details, you can't check barcode content, you can't skip ads. What's the purpose. UNINSTALLING.

Usually works ok but now has so many ads that can't be closed, to the point that i can't see the information i need from the code. I will be deleting this app and looking for a new one!

Where the hell do you get off using hijacking ads in this app all of a sudden? Only used it because it was included with my phone. It's worth finding a other, actually useful app, people.

It used to work well. Now it scans and ads pop up. It doesnt give you links for the bar code youre scanning. Im uninstalling.

Works. Only for taking a shot of a barcode, not for scanning a previously saved image. 3 stars for that reason.

It needs all access permissions, I don't get it why a barcode scanner app would need to access my contacts or be able to make calls !! Cant find anything anyways. Im uninstalling it now.

Pretty easy but sometimes slow at scanning barcode, but easy and no real problems just don't like advertisements but thats what its come to.

I normally use this app for work to verify correct barcode when the engineers can't scan a barcode. I like it because it tells you the type of barcode you just scanned along with the info from it

Sucks. Standing in home depot trying to scan an item for price and all I get is ads for Google play store. Google can't find the product. POS

This app has Confirmed adware, do not download it unless you like adds popping up when unlocking your phone even if you haven't used this app in weeks. -100 stars

Doesnt work. Pretends to scan and always sends me only to advertising sites regardless of what options I press. Garbage and I'm uninstalling.

Had this app for a while and didn't use it that often. Now, every where you go, you have to scan to get the menu, so I have been using it a lot. Have not had any problems with it.

Works great every time. Many store sites/apps you can scan on them so don't need this app as much but still use it occasionally.

Causes full screen popups even when it is closed I had to download popup detector to figure out what app was causing it and all the random full screen adware stopped after deleting the app

Easy to download & use! Worked perfectly from the 1st try... which was on-site @ a job interview ! Even on my Android-based BlackBerry Key2 LE... couldn't be happier with it!

Too many ads. The ads make it impossible to find out what the barcode information is. This is a worthless app.

Superb!!! Always ready to rock and roll and it gives you all of the information and more on whatever you are scanning!

Would keep throwing me to Google Pay app for installation instead of Play Store while I was using the reader to install a smart plug that used a QR to pick the correct app. I uninstalled it and got a different reader.
