QR Droid Code Scanner

We are using the app to fire immediately a custom URL, which works like a charm. The issue is when I want to go straight back to the camera with just one click. Pressing back in the browser brings me back to "Plain text" overview screen, hence I have to click back again. Can't you create an option to skip this screen, so that it brings me back to the camera right away with just 1 click?

I don't know how many years passed since I had installed this app, many years and phones... It has worked flawlessly. Only problem, in fact not exactly a problem, I can tell is they hid image qr code scanning under two menus. First you tap "options" , then "more" in order to access this feature. It should be on the homepage.

Love this app, I've been using it for years. I decided again that it's time to purchase it, but all I get is an error message saying "ERROR Transaction declined." It's definitely not my bank, I've purchased many apps through the Google Play Store. Other than not being able to get rid of ads, this app does everything I'd ever want or need from a QR scanner. Fix the payment issue and it'll be 5 stars.

The app is not usable. It would scan the qr code, and you could click through to the web page, but it would then immediately forward to a sponsor's page. Clicking back would take you back to the app, not the desired web page. Multiple tries yielded the same result. If you can't get to the web page you want, then there is no point to using this app.

Since a long time already I have had the issue that, whatever option I select to be the default action when opening the app, it always goes to the recent files. I just want a qr reader to start by showing the camera, I really don't care about creating QRs or going to previously scanned ones! This app became immensely more feature full, but in my opinion, unnecessarily so.

I like this App, together with QR Droid private. However it seems IMPOSSIBLE TO PAY for it to have ads removed. It always says Error, transaction declined. I tried many times to pay to no avail. I don't have this problem with any other app I purchase via Google pay, only this one. Must be a programming error on their part.

The best QR/barcode scanner available, I've been using it for years. It's the only scanner app you'll ever need, it has way more features than any others I've seen and it has never failed to find the product/item to any code I've scanned. 5*****

Useful app. I'm sure that I'm only scratching the surface of what it can do, but one thing I'd like is a hex dump of the contents of the QR Code and a file explorer so I can locate saved images easily without having to resort to Total Commander.

Using this for years and always been reliable. Especially so in the current COVID environment where shops require QR code reader registration to eat in. I'd pay to remove ads but the pay option keeps getting declined. I know my info is correct. I see others have had similar issue. Doesn't matter in the end as will keep using even with ads

I'm trying to pay for REMOVING ADs (want to only remove Ads Without donation). Error comes like "TRANSACTION WAS DECLINED." I have sufficient balance in Google play wallet, Have latest versions of App & Play Store. I tried clearing cache & data of App, Pay Store & Play Services, Tried Restarting the device, Tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app, Tried to purchase from my another device, Tried to purchase from my friend's account... NOTHING WORKED. there seem to be some problem in app. HELP!

Awful. I had this app before and it was really handy, but this version is unusably complicated and infuriating. Have scanned two things. The first worked fine, the second didn't. Uninstalling in absolute disappointment.

Experience Awful. Even with default action changed when first opening app, any time you navigate, even if just to the Home screen's slid menu, the camera ALWAYS comes ON and after just 2 or 3 seconds it snaps a picture of your carpeting! That's so stupit! This piece of #%$* Gosh, I never use profanity! What has gotten into me? lolol So before this app changes me any more it is mere seconds away, from being officially UNINSTALLED. Good Riddance!

Warning: password phishing scam! Requires password instead of normal biometrics when trying to purchase "no ads" but then always says "transaction declined" I have literally tried for many years. All other transactions work on Google play. Reported!

Encryption doesn't seem to work. This is the one feature I was looking for but even when supposedly encrypted, the info shows up without having to input a password

I installed it. It no longer worked brilliantly anymore. It used to be fantastic but it didn't seem to recognise products and there was no feedback to say that a product could not be found.... it just did nothing. It's an out of date app.

Another top rated QR scanner blew it --- wouldn't resolve the scan, just kep sweeping. This APP was lightning quick, easy to use, and worked perfectly on my first attempt!

Allows advertisers to mislead you into downloading apps you don't want. How? Use QR to scan a code for another app you want, and a big green box with the word "DOWNLOAD" appears. But it is actually a link for the advertiser's app that you don't want. Below that in practically invisible letters is a link to a website, with no instructions. That's the link that has the app you want. Most consumers are going to get roped into downloading AND REGISTERING for the app they don't want, then AFTER giving away their private information, try to use the unwanted app and find it is not what they wanted. Too late - the advertiser has the consumer's info and has tricked them into downloading its app. The advertiser profits, QR Droid profits, and the consumer loses. And the consumer usually thinks that it's their own fault - that they could have clicked the correct link if only they paid more attention. IMHO: BS. The app is designed to fool the average consumer and then avoid accountability.

Great app, used it for years. But now that I see that you can scan QR codes with the default Android camera I'll be uninstalling. Best to the developers. 👍

I prefer this app but could only give it 4 stars because it always fails to read a particular QR code even though it is large, clear, and has no reflections. So I have to use another app for this one place. The problem I see is that the code is grey with black text although the other app is not so fussy and just works. Fix that and it'll be a 5 star app then.

It does it's primary function well. It scans a QR code and translates that into a web-link. That's what it does with no hassle, and that's all I ask for. Good app.

Quite okay app overall, BUT, when trying to pay for ad-free, payment keeps being denied. No other app shows a similar problem. So deceiving.

App is great for making codes but I need to edit the code without altering the code. The code is already present on a label. havent figured out how to do that yet...if it's possible. Changing it would be costly. And I have gotten no response from the email address we are told to contact. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Very good app but text alignment is middle while generating QR code. Text alignment should be on left side or there should be an option to allign the text.

Despite of announced sync across devices it doesn't work! Neither improved nor plain. Alias and promised colour mark are not visible.

I also cannot pay to remove ads. Just says "Error transaction was declined". Any other transactions in the Play Store or in-app purchases for other apps work as expected.

Quick to load, easy to use, beautifully functional, and not bogged down with bloat.

Great app, works perfectly, fast and even has some extra features to boot.

Fast, don't need to align, or position it. Can generate codes. It's possibly the best.

I like it a lot, it's very useful. Just not sure it saves all scans, or under what conditions.
