most worst, time wasting and one of the rubbish apps ever searched .
Excellent app for 2d and 3d barcode reading
Used to love this app on my Samsung. Doesn't focus the camera on my pixel 3
Simple easy does what it says, the only app of its kind that is not bulls***
This app is an excellent tool for scan and create QR Code.
Improve the box to capture the qr code
This app is fast and easy to use. Unlike other scanners, this one doesn't require that you frame the qcode square or barcode perfectly, it will capture even when it is at an angle in the frame. The interface is pretty much idiot proof and requires no more skill than using a camera.
Fine app. Folks need to remember that most problems with free form scanning are physical problems, that is problems with the hardware used or the operators ability to handle the hardware. My tablet's rear camera is a gem with an excellent and stable auto-focus. As a result, it delivers fine snapshots of the barcodes and MHL marks that the app deciphers flawlessly.
I bought it and no regrets .. It is able to quickly reliably scan and then parse correctly many QR and bar codes even if low quality printed or lighted that most of well known other scanning apps are not capable
This app does not work well with the talkback screenreader. Being able to use a barcode scanner to identify products I can't see is appealing, but this app wn't be it. It has a few buttons that I assume are controls, but they're unlabelled so no idea what they do. If the accessibility issues are fixed, I'll revisit it, but for now I'll go try out some other apps instead.
Recognizes QR and other common barcodes quickly and reliably. Very easy to use. Keeps your scans in a scan history list so you may take advantage of data encoded in those codes at a latter time. Although the App is called a "Barcode Scanner", it is equally good in compiling QR codes which encodes data you want. Overall - this 2-in-1 tool greatly facilitates sharing information in our digital world. Has exemplary support from the developer. Although interface of the app is generally self-explanatory, some app's options/functions were not quite clear for me at first. After failing to find the app-related user guide anywhere on the web - contacted the developer. Got response from them with all the answers almost immediately.
Dwnld'd & used to scan 8 random items on my desk, 5of8 popular, recognized retailed items, cigs, sd card, spice container etc. None brought up any info, altho results page indicated all had been scanned prior, some several hundred times. Also very slow to initiate scan, 15-20 "pulses" before reading barcode. Guess I'm still looking for a scanner!
I first found and downloaded this app on my Motorola Atrix 4G. I found it so much more useful than other barcode scanners that I recommended it to everyone I know who uses barcode scanner apps. I continued to use it when I switched to the Atrix HD and now have it installed on my Samsung Galaxy S5. There's the rub; I like the app so much it was one of the first I downloaded after buying the Galaxy S5 and I have never seen it work as well as it did on the two previous phones. The auto-focus seems to take a long time to kick in when scanning. I use the app to check readability on products we make at work and it's very frustrating having to wait so long for the app to work. Is there something in the Galaxy S5 hardware/OS that affects the scanning function? Is there some setting I can adjust to fix it? Based on previous performance I would give it at least four stars but given my current functionality I have to mark it down. The main problem is I haven't found a suitable replacement yet so I will keep it installed until I do.
I had the Symbian S60 version years ago and never had any trouble with it. This one is not only better, but the interface is nice and easy to use. Good.
It's an all around great tool for working with QR codes. It reads and creates them, plus it integrates with other things.
After trying different scanner apps with disappointing results I finally found this one, fun, fast and easy to use.
Fastest, most durable QR code reader app. No other app that I have tried reads as fast, including dirty qr codes and in low light conditions. Probably never gonna change to another.
Even works with some of those really tiny QR codes you might find on a small tag or something.
It is best on Qr than Barcode. Some Barcodes are reported inaccurately but on the whole, the quickest, easiest and best out there. I tried it on my old note 1, it works just as well as my S5.
Most reliable I have seen. Read my tattoo every time. Feature request. Web search direct from read would be good
I don't typically write reviews, but I want all of you that are looking for a really good scanner to stop looking and just install this one. Scans just about any format, can save/send the history in .csv or .txt, can customize the scan window, can turn the light on or off. Ads are relatively unobtrusive. To the people at SimpleAct, well done, and thank you! Edit: only one problem: scan data with an 'E' followed by numbers is saved as an exponent when exporting in .csv format. I.e. '7E43' is saved as 7 with 43 zeroes. Minor problem; still love it.
This QR scanning app simply works, and does what it's supposed to. I stick with it rather than all the others.
This is the only code scanning app I have found that works reliably. Add to that the ability to create QR codes, and you have the only code scanning app you will need.
Looks like they fixed the issues I had with it. If everything works well now I'll come back and rate higher.
I am using this from the days of GB. This is most user friendly QR code app. Will see what in-app purchases are and will update my review.
Reads barcodes quickly and accurately even if the print quality is poor. An auto copy option would be useful.
Awesome app and scans barcodes super easily. Tried 3 others first that couldn't scan my barcode and this one scans it with EASE. I'll be keeping this one.
Does easily scan most types of barcode outhere. Occasionally has troubles, which may be related to the camera on your device...
It does exactly what is supposed to do. I have no problems scanning any code, idenpendent of its size. Easy and quick to use.
Very handy for checking pricing and using barcode-based store memberships. Good job!
