This app had been my go to for YEARS since it had all I wanted : great display, quick editing, and a nice gallery with folder and capacities to move stuff around freely. This update basically destroyed it. My folder structure has disintegrated, and pictures are only shows in chronological order. I can't access my gallery like before and my video media can't be opened. I hope a next update will fix it, or I'll need to move to something else!

I loved this app and will miss it so much! Now it won't open images from within other programs or from folders in my file structure. Every time I choose to see an image I must go to this app, navigate through the checkerboard of folders which takes far more time than opening from the folder in my file structure. In order to open images in any other program, I have to uninstall Quick Pic. Maybe I'll stumble on the news that this has been fixed, some time in the future. Until then, goodbye...

This used to be an awesome gallery app. Over the last year the app constantly crashes, videos refuse to play, and the UI was changed to (for me) a horrible color without options to customize. I'm really disappointed in the direction this app seems to be headed, and will likely start looking for something else soon. I've been a user of this app for at least a half-dozen years.

Just wanted to add my profound disappointment to the other recent reviews here... been a long time user of the app and have loved it. However, the recent "upgrade" to version 5 has left the app very unstable. It freezes all the time necessitating frequent and multiple restarts. Such a shame. Do the developers not test this before they release it? It's easy to replicate and I can't help but wonder how it was overlooked when it's such a frequent issue.Let's hope it's an easy fix and, more importantly, a "Quick" one (sorry, couldn't resist the pun).

I've loved this app for years! I found it to be better, faster, sleeker, than the phone's factory gallery app. I just downloaded the latest update today and it's not working! It's giving me a blank screen when I open it so I have to exit and reopen, I can't play my videos and it's randomly crashing. I'm so disappointed because I have never had any issues prior to this. Hope this gets fixed!

I have been using this app for more than 2 years now I loved it. However, the last update turned out to be messy for me where I lost a bunch of photos. I'll be in one of the folders, I get a call, after the call the entire folder is missing. I lost close to 600 pics because of that. And no it isn't deleted coz if that was the case it should have been in the recycle bin. And it's not... I had a wonderful collection of pics in it.. Very upset. To top it, the ads are not helping at all😵

This app used to be great, but since the update I recommend staying away from it. Now its just slow and buggy. You have to open it multiple times to see your pictures. It will also no longer play videos. Major steps backwards. If you hide your folders, it won't let you unhide them. I had to switch to an app called Simple in order to unhide my folders. Quick pic was good wile it lasted. On to the next one.

Until recently it was one of the best gallery apps, no complaints in general. But the latest version introduced a series of issues that has made it almost unusable, causing issues with other apps: now you have to keep quickpic open in the background if you want to open a picture from another app, otherwise it crashes. Then there's this new function that forces you to try about "password directories", you have to force close it if you want to keep browsing your galleries. It's all messy.

Since the last or second to last update, this app has failed to play videos, crashes frequently, and doesn't always share pictures. This app, prior to these issues, was my favorite, but now I'm considering switching to a new one if the next update doesn't resolve these problems. I hope you all figure it out and continue to have a successful application.

I've used this gallery forever, and its definitely one of the best. It does have strange issues with running in the background, even with cloud services disabled, but it doesn't seem to cause any issues, besides an irritating notification I disabled. The only issue I've ever had is it getting "stuck" on seemingly random images each boot, one or two out of 1000+, and locking up the screen for about a minute before crashing the app. No clue there, but otherwise its great!

There are various options helpful for photo gallery navigation, making it better than the stock gallery app. However, it occasionally misreads the SD card, making it a little incovenient as you would need to clear the cache. For lower-end phones, this can cause a little hassle. For other phones, the loading speed is fast, so it is somewhat trivial.

Used to be a 5 star app. No issues, fast and reliable, easy to use. Nowadays it crashes with basically everything, you can basically not use it, and given that the last update was on July 29th I don't know what the developers are doing right now. Sad to see the app be broken like this. Every other alternative is either slow or very lacking in features.

Years ago this was one of my obligatory apps, I recommended it to some of my friends because of how intuitive and customizable it was. Now, it's a complete disaster. It can't load a lot of videos, I always need to force-stop it and in some phones (like my A10) all its fonts are in an unchangeable purple-pink color. Also if I want to make visual changes, it doesn't allow me. It was a 5 stars, I even had a review that said "The best gallery I've ever used", but now it's just bad.

It used to be my favourite gallery app for many years. Now I'm getting error messages about cloud backup no longer being supported (what?) and with Android 10 it is perpetually in the notification window as running in the background. This is sad; QuickPic used to do exactly what I needed, and very well. Now it has become a source of annoyance. Gone.

I used to love this app. It crashes and freezes so much anymore. After years of use I left for another app. When you click on an album is just clicks and makes the haptic go. You try to use the back button and it freezes. Then you try to go-to the home screen and the app randomly goes split screen. It does this on two of my phone's. I finally gave up and move on. The used to be the best photo org app on Android is junk now.

I believe it has bug in this update. It keeps a notification stuck in the notification panel on my device. It reads ; "QuickPic is running. Touch for more information or to stop...." They cannot be removed, and I could not find anywhere in the apps settings on how to overcome the issue. I had to re-instate the older version of the apps which work just fine.

This has been my go-to app for YEARS -- used to be snappy, intuitive, customizable, and truly functional, but on my new Pixel 3 it's basically unusable. It runs constantly in the background once I open it and I have to "force stop" it all the time, and it can't load photos and videos anymore. I get maybe the first 3-10 photos in a folder and then the rest are just black squares. Really sad to have to find a new app.
