Quizlet Flashcards & Learning

I've been using Quizlet for more than a year, and it has been helpful for a lot of tests and exam. The best way to easily learn vocabulary and dates. But lately (since the last update I think?) I've been unable to add study sets to folders. I still don't understand why, and it's now harder to find my study sets easily, I have to keep scrolling to find the one I'm searching for. That put aside, it's a great app!

It used to be great. And then they launched a new version of the Learn mode which deleted the progresses on current deck. Besides it no longer shows progression at the end of each session, so you have no idea how much you progressed in your whole deck. The new version forces to see a bunch of new terms before moving to written question, it's not very efficient... Sad.. The app is still a good tool. Just disappointed with this new version..

I didn't know that flashcard apps were that advanced nowadays. I got the "go" premium membership to remove the ads, that's fair. Only complaint : The auto completion when creating sets is great, but the way it's made doesn't make much sense to me. I'm learning Russian vocabulary and the app picked that up very well, but as soon as I've written a Russian word it should suggest the English translation as a "definition" instead of suggesting the word I just typed.

Amazing flash card app!! Love how easy it is to make decks complete with images and audio, it's the only way I have found to learn the 70-100words of vocabulary a week requiered for my language course. There are many learning testing modes. But I would also like an audio-quiz mode, something you could use with a Bluetooth set when you can't look at your screen (in the car for example) ...

This app is great, just read all the other comments. BUT I'd like to propose a new option: I think it would be interesting to be able to also have "long-term lists", I mean lists we wanna master forever, not just for a test or whatever. For that, I think it would be a good option to have a way to interrogate on the words in function of what we did since the beginning of our learning of the list. A way to interrogate on a list that will never be considered as totally mastered.

Everything is good except for the audio. I want to practice listening so I turn on the audio in Flashcard and Learn when studying a new set. Then I study another set and the app does not save what I have done before. I mean I have to turn on the audio again and again, which is really frustrating. How about you developing a general feature that always turns on the audio when learning. Thank you!

Since my last review from 2 years ago, not much has improved. Quizlet for iPhone and Mac is great but Android version is not as good. It is not very intuitive, and seems not as updated as much. On iPhone you don't need to add a language for definitions when finishing creating a study set, which makes it a lot quicker process + adding the ability to create a new folder and from within it to create a new data set, that gets added to the same folder would be great (again, possible on iPhone, ).

The experience is good however it's imposible to organize sets in here. Don't get me wrong with 10 sets it's totally doable but when having a lot of sets it's really hard to group them in folders since there is no filtering or searching by name while adding it, basically you are greeted with a list of all your sets and you have to look through the entire list. Also I'd like to see stats of my performance, it would be a great feature. There is so much potential here.

this app has helped me so much, especially with GCSE French and Religious Studies, but it's also been really helpful for other subjects like geography and history! I'd recommend it to anyone as a really powerful revision tool - it's really easy to make your own flashcards (but there's loads of other sets made by other people for literally any course which you can use too)

The best learning app I've ever found. I bought the pro version and I didn't regret it even for a second. Many learning modes, many options, I rely on this app every day. It's especially helpful when you have a huge amount of new terms or words to learn everyday. It makes revisions so much easier and more pleasant.

I actually really liked this app but when the update made it worse. I always learned with the learning function it had so many rounds till I learned all the flashcards. Now I only can learn with 5 rounds which is to less to learn anything. Also it feels like this app get more funtions to the plus members than the free member. And also the functions which was free in the past is now only for plus or only in a minimalistic Version.

I like it. It helps reviewing and memorizing easier. My only problem is that, the app focuses too much on term and definition type of test. I wish there could be more like fill in the blanks, enumeration, identification, which doesn't belong to the group, and etc. because the current test of the app is very limited and, most of the time, confusing especially the way it generates questions. I still like the current features though.

Great, app. However, I wish it was as good as it used to be in some aspects. For learn, I wish it randomly gave you questions/cards instead of giving them in the order the creator made them. It's predictable how it is. I also miss the little progress bar and the emojis/sayings it would have after completing each session of learn. For instance "You're really hitting your stride (with a skier emoji)" That was a cute touch and also motivating.

I like quizlet for studying vocab, but it is incredibly frustrating to me that my sets are organized on the app in a seemingly completely random fashion. It would be so nice if they were organized by, say, when they were made, or at least alphabetically. It's so bad that when I make folders, I have to add my sets one at a time to get them in the desired order, and I have to scour my list of sets every time to find each one.

This app is so helpful when it comes to memorization for tests and quizzes at school. I use it to study Japanese and it even has features to help you fill in the blank in various languages which helps save some time when creating a study set. I've always struggled with my memory but I can say that quizlet has been an excellent tool and the perfect aid while learning Japanese. Thank you to whoever made quizlet, you deserve an award.

I haven't used it much but it already seems intensely useful. One of my previous teachers had us writing notes straight out of the text book for the entire lesson and would only occasionally break it up with a documentary/video, which wasn't an effective way to learn things at all. I'm glad that I'm able to access study material other people have made because my own notes from that time are poor.

The ads since the new update are terrible. There is now an obnoxious and highly disruptive ad engulfing the screen on a timer that feels like it's on every 1-2 minutes. It ruins your momentum and flow and it becomes infuriating. The ads before were NOT invasive and they shouldn't be or I will have to restrict this to my desktop with adblocker.

Best application to learn language! Very simple but very useful, a lot of methods to repeat vocabulary like flashcards, match, writing, test. You can use sets prepared by other people or create your own if you have anything hard to repeat just for yourself. You can learn anywhere until you're online, no ads and it's free. Can't be better, highly recommend!

Really great for vocab revision for languages, but only really if someone else creates a set. Making your own study set is quite a long process and can be frustrating so I would recommend it as a teaching resource but it's not so good as a private learning app. Really good though.

This app is wonderful. I am a pre-nursing student, I am able to put all my vocabulary terms and textbook definitions into Quizlet then use them as either flashcards, a matching game, or test myself. I'm in love. And this is for the free version! That ads aren't obnoxious or anything. I may invest in the paid version just because this is helping me so so much!

Great app for studying vocabulary. I like that it will quiz you from target to native language and vice versa. There are also multiple methods, like multiple choice, written, true false, and flash cards. I appreciate having control over which ones it uses.

My new favorite app. I legitimately didn't know the app inputs the word definition for me (you can do it manually if you want to), so I was pleasantly surprised. Whenever I hear new words, I write them into a little book I carry around, so I assumed I would have to type everything over again, but NOPE! This saves me so much precious time. And there are different quiz styles, and also a dark mode (some unnecessary fun). Just wish the pro version was cheaper, but of course, I am a cheapskate.

It's good. I discovered Quizlet a few months ago, and it has really helped me study and practice. Although there can be more features in the free plan, such as offline use, etc. It would be very helpful if we had our progress tracked... But overall it's good.

my favourite flashcard app I love this app. it's versatile and you can study things specific to you, whether self-studying or studying for a class. i use it for studying Korean. I make flashcards out of various different materials (textbooks, videos, online lessons, conversations, etc) but am able to condense everything I learn or need to learn into Quizlet. it's not enough to learn a language on it's own but helps with memorising vocabulary and key grammar concepts

Bad, bad, bad since the last update! I just can use flashcards and match...but what happens with the learn mode and writting??? I made over 3000 flashcards for Latin and now I cant learn them anymore in the learn and especially write them down?! It costs so much time to create this sets and i definitely wont pay for the upgrade! So ridiculous and outrageous!

Great app for learning. It's actually a critical part of the lessons I teach. Which is why it is disappointing that on so many of my devices a 'folder' cannot be clicked on. My institute has so many sets that without this function, younger students have a hard time finding the lesson we're working on.

Overall a great app but there is a room for improvement here and there. App starts bugging when the set becomes relatively large. Also, please add a search option within the set. It gets hard to search for the card when the set becomes big. Adding a search option would solve this issue.

Sometimes I get random quirks when it comes to building the sets that becomes frustrating. And in the learn feature I wish you could randomize it better because it's kind of grouped to where the card is in the set and I start to remember the answer not because I know it but because process of elemination.

Support refuses to acknowledge and fix obvious and intrusive issues, even when made aware of them in very rudimentary terms; so I can't properly utilize the app I pay to use. Can't edit cards during study mode. In edit mode, the card won't expand to accommodate entire term. Cards can't have pictures in term side. Picture terms show up as random sizes in study mode, often way too small. Sets downloaded don't work offline. Cards with pictures won't flip unless tapped on the very edge of the card.

This app is amazing! I studied for a test I had and it was so simple and easy to get it to work. I love the app although there is some pop up ads but there really not a problem. You can compete against friends im the matching option. It really made my life easier. Definitely recommend 👌
