Holy moly this app is really pooly engineered. I mean, streaming audio has been around since the 90s. In 2022, Entercom can't get this 30-year-old tech to work. 6 months of use, issues persist no matter the device, connection speed or app version - Audio pauses randomly for random intervals. This happens every session. - Audio pauses then never resumes. Intermittently - Audio has short intermittent echoing. - Background app audio is buggy AF - Some stations are live, and some are just ...not?

Works some of the time, but not always. Right now, it's frozen and won't stream anything. Edit: They suggested I re-install the app. It's now worse than ever. Sad that it's inconsistent. Takes forever to do even the most basic play functions. I'd be curious to see how their advertisers feel about the lost revenue this app is costing them due to its poor performance making users simply give up or uninstall the app.

Worst app I use. I'm a developer by profession. I understand the complexity of developing a solid app but IMHO, the app doesn't provide enough user feedback. Suggestions: Give the user more feedback? Or is the app just frozen! It consistently freezes on startup. It is an audio app, maybe play a tone on startup for feedback. The startup screen tells me nothing.

Overall poor buggy experience. I can't tell you how many times I'm sitting there listening and all of a sudden it jumps to another part of the show and when I try to go back to where I was at, it starts a commercial loop that never ends. Occasionally, the app just won't open at all, just sits at the title screen to the point that I have to reinstall. Simply a very poor experience. Update 5/18/2022: Still a laggy, buggy mess. Navigating live radio is nightmare.

Edit: This is quite possibly the worst app in the entire store. Had never had to quit and restart anything so frequently in my entire life in order to get it to function properly, and I lived through the Windows ME era. Updating from 2 stars to 1. Just terrible all around. Will update this review to something more favorable if it ever improves but that is looking less likely as time moves on.

This app only brings frustration! When you pause live radio many times it stop playing what you missed then it goes to a commercial then it skips what you missed or what you paused. It then picks up at live radio. The 10 secs rewind and fast forward button doesn't function really well. Don't fast forward any paused audio because it'll go to commercial then skip all your paused radio and take you to the current audio. This app is horrible! If I can rate it zero stars I would.

Horrifying. Everytime you open the app you are prompted to sign up for b.s. promotions like "team podcasts." Even if you change from one station to the other the sign in/email prompt is displayed. Underhanded and dishonest way to get marketing data. Plus, even worse, the streams from the various stations takes FOREVER to load. Other than waiting 2 minutes or more for the stream and the annoying email pop ups, it's ok lol

I only use this app on Sunday mornings for a radio show and for Mets games, and the app runs well for my needs. My only and main issue is that I haven't been able to cast to my Chromecast/TV for a number of weeks. When I cast it'll just show a black screen with a moving line at the bottom and stays stuck like that. Please fix!!

There most have been an update because the ads are ridiculous. There are so many and I almost never get the full traffic report in the morning because it is constantly interrupted by an ad. There's also a problem with the app rewinding itself at the top of the hour or midpoint of the hour. Argh. So frustrating.

The rewind feature is very intermittent and unreliable it skips back and forth and the commercials run on what seems like a 10-minute loops. It often takes from 30 seconds to 1 minute for the stream to load and sometimes it does not even load. Entercom seems not to care about this app as there is plenty of complaint online

Good when it works. Drops constantly. My phone had an fm chip however for some reason google stoped supporting the other app that does radio over air. See audacy app collects data and acts as a Nelson like ratings app while using data over the network which with unlimited data plans allowes me to ‐ live with it if it worked . At the gym I would like to have it work consistently . I can have phone hooked to Bluetooth headphones as a regular fm radio Is hard to hear. <- writes fast in frustrati

This app constantly stops. This app stops cant launch on s21 phone in sick of it and the web is not much better. Always interrupted i tried to explain to the tech group and they were as helpful as a lawn chair on the sinking titanic. No other app does this. Not Iheart not Spotify not even WEEI's competition 98.5thesportshub none. Only this station and very frustrating as I constantly have to run back to the phone. Again the tech group were USELESS

I first complained about notifications being reset in 2019. They still reset. I'll sign out close the app. I'll sign out, close the app, reopen the app and before I can even bother to sign in notifications are re-enabled. I sign in, they stay re-enabled despite my disabling them earlier. I've disabled them in Android now but this continues to annoy me. I don't like your app anymore. I am actively looking for other alternatives.

The app has potential but is consistently bad. All my podcasts and shows constantly skip forward or backwards. Anywhere between 15 to 30 seconds, at least once per podcast (on wifi or cell service). The app also shows an ad (or two) every time you open or bring up the app. The ad is advertising audacy content urging you to log in and review their content. I am already logged in, why do I need to see this every time I open the app? Even when the app is running in the background.

This is the worst app i have ever used. It lags, it's slow loading, playback is slow and makes voices sound sleepy or drunk. It jumps and chops ads and if you "rewind" it will jump back to live for no reason. It also plays local business ads for cities in states that are nowhere near me. (Yes I made an adjustment in settings and it made no difference) IT'S AWFUL!!

App continues to disappoint. Playback feature leaves gaps in content, then completely skip 3 hours ahead. Some days the App takes 3 minutes+ just to open! Then stops whenever it feels like it. Support Team sends a ref # to offer Help, then doesn't respond. Today, the App worked for 10 minutes, then showed that it was playing, but no audio content was actually coming out of the speaker. Sooo many bugs! I like to use the App when it works but it really doesn't like to work!

This app freezes constantly. Heaven forbid you lose cell signal for 2 seconds. Too many pop up screens while you try to turn on your station. It will rewind, on it's own, to an hour and a half previous, normally right at a very interesting point. Commercials constantly loop. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times, no change.

Works most of the time. Giving it a three because it crashes often especially when leaving a wifi area and switching to cellular data. Seems like a longer data buffer would solve the connection delays but I'm just guessing. However the bugs do seem fixable.

This App was great when it came out. It still gets the job done but it is so spotty with keeping constant connection and getting it started seems like I need to open and close the app 3 times before any connection. I'm not sure why the product is degrading. Very frustrating

Absolutely atrocious app. Cannot stay on, cannot not constantly stay on no matter what settings you have it set it on. Have to go into the app, and stop it, instead of a tab on your phone. Clunky af and difficult to navigate. DO. NOT. UPLOAD.

The app rarely works. It takes multiple tries for it to open. It crashes consistently. It rarely plays the correct channel. It randomly rewinds. It's a shame that this is the only way to stream terrestrial radio.
