Rain Sounds - Sleep Ambiance

I love this app, but one thing that irritates me is that it shuts off on it's own. I don't use the timer at all, but it shuts off😤😠 I really like this app, I love the sounds of rain and thunder, please help. Is their a way that I can keep the sounds going all night?

Love all the features but the loops are just not long enough. You pretty much know when it's about to start over.

Best rain noises! You can customize it to have a certain amount of thunder, a certain rain type, and you can set a timer for it to stop! It also has a feature where it can use your phone to create lightning! It does have ads but they don't make noise, and they're just tiny ones at the bottom of the screen. I honestly use this app every night. Love love love!

Potentially great - more rain types would be nice. But, more crucially, allow to set a timer rather than a length. Let users to set the time they want it to stop rather than have to choose how long they want the app running for. For example, I would like to be able to set it to stop at 8am. I don't want to sit there having to work out how long that is from the time I'm getting into bed!

Brilliant app. I have tinnitus in one ear and total silence can result in me concentrating on the apparent sound which is not just annoying but can cause development of more neural connections making the condition worse. Listening to the rain sound in dynamic setting with thunder on is fantastic when trying to get to sleep. Currently using a pair of Bose automatic noise cancelling headphones and the stereo rendering of thunder is wonderfully distracting. Lots of clever features. Well done.

it is sometimes(rarely) not smooth and theres clear overlap. other than that it is dope. i encourage you to download it if you enjoy the sound of rain at different intensities and other options incliding thunder and lightning. allows for the screen to be blank and has the option of a timer for the app to switch off.

Wonderful app with plenty of adjustable user settings, such as rain intensity, thunder intensity, and even lightening that flashes either the screen or your camera flash pretty convincingly. Works marvelously as a sleep aid, and I have faithfully used it for several years. But recently it has developed an issue. I downloaded and installed it on a new phone (ZTE ZFIVE 2) and no matter what I do, or what settings I change, it WILL NOT RUN longer than 15 minutes. Set it for 4 hours in the simple timer mode, set it for 10 hours in the advanced timer options, turned on and off the option that closes the app when the time limit has been reached. I've gone into the phone's settings to see if maybe my battery saver settings are causing non essential apps to shut down to preserve battery life. No change. It runs for 15-16 minutes, then the app just closes wakes me up. I've had this app on 3 other devices: A Samsung Galaxy Note 2, a Galaxy Note 3, and a Moto E4. On ALL 3 devices, it has run flawlessly all night. But not on the ZTE. Sadly I'm going to have to find some other app until this issue is resolved. 4 out of 5 *s

Quite literally one of my favorite apps of all time. So many sensible features. Simple click to open and timer is set; easy to use and customize sounds; non intrusive ads; great sound quality. This will be the only app in my life where I voluntarily pay money to remove ads due to how great the developer is. Thank you.

If you like youtubes long rain sleep aid videos but hate the intrusive ads this is the app for you.

I purchased this app because I LOVE that you get to set and adjust the different ambient sounds. Rain, lighting, thunder, even visual lighting. Though there has been some issues with the app saying on, the developers have made improvements. Even with the minor irritant, I give this app a 5 star because (I see they are continuing to work on it and), I use it EVERY NIGHT without fail.

I love the gentle sounds. I also appreciate the different settings for intensity of the rain, thunder and lightning. You can also select whether or not to even have thunder and/or lightning! (Same rating, just rewritten to expand and to correct spelling errors 😀 )

works great and helps me sleep. you can overlap the sounds of this app and relax rain I overlap the sounds of this app and the other app I listed (I use the rain on roof) and both work great. I love the option to choose rain heaviness or to pick dynamic which really sounds like rainfall due to the change in intensity. with both apps you can "mix" the hardness of the rain and the loudness of it to create the perfect feel you need to fall alseep or wind down. definitely reccomend both.

I really enjoy using this app at night to block out random noises in my apartment building. However, occasionally the app will just stop making noise in the middle of the night. It doesn't say it crashed, it just stops. This only happens maybe once a month but it is very disruptive.

Volume does what it wants. On multiple occasions I was trying to go to sleep, but the volume kept fading to almost nothing and then it would suddenly come back in full. Not helpful when it jars me back into full consciousness because there's suddenly noise again after having faded out 10 minutes after I started running the app. I have a hard enough time falling asleep, and this app ain't making it any easier to do. RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER I am not a "sir", and I never used dynamic rain intensity.

I use to love it but after i updated it , it seems to lag . There is a brief pause every 20-30 secs which can be quite annoying when listening with headphones and trying to sleep. I still love how u can control the intensity of the rain , thunder and lightning and my baby loves the graphics.

I use this several times a week. Most days when I'm having trouble sleeping this puts me right over the edge. I love the thunder sound effects, makes it sound natural to me although there are options to adjust the volume of thunder and eliminate it if you want to. PS I'm chintzy with 5 stars but this one deserves it.

UPDATED. I've been loving this app for years but since one of lastest updates, it was stopping after a few minutes & the timer wasn't working. I was so disappointed until the developers responded right away saying they were fixing it and it should work after another update and it's wonderful again! Thank you!
