Range Buddy

As others have stated interface appears unintuitive, but within 5min I figured out how to use it. Also do a search in YouTube and you'll find detailed instructions. 4 stars because the interface could be a bit more streamlined to walk the user through initial setup, simply by placing the session setup at the top of the list rather than 4th item down.

Works great on my LG V20. After a few minutes in the user manual and a youtube video I was using this app with confidence. I will purchase the pro version. I would like to see another option in the user preferences and that is chronograph readings. Velocity, standard deviations and groups are important factors for me. Thanks for a great range app!

I can't install something when I'm being given no choice but allowing too much access to stuff on my device in Exchange. I understand it's free, but developer is it getting paid by advertisers. I don't agree that I have to look at the ads for free ! if I have to see all of your ads I better get use off your app in exchange for that. Otherwise, thank you, but I have to pass.

Android 10 navigation with gestures makes this app almost unusable. When you bring up the display with the scope adjustment, the only way to close that screen is to back out of the target and start all over.

Some of the buttons are not as intuitive, but once you learn what they all do, it is a really nice app. Makes it easy to calculate your groups and poi offsets for zeroing your scope.

Icons and use of the program are not really intuitive. Watch the videos on their website before trying to use the app. App works extremely well once you understand it.

Fantastic app. Could use an in-app tutorial. And I wish the buttons while setting up had labels. But the tutorial video I found on YouTube is sufficient. Great app with great features.

I had this on my Galaxy s9 plus. It worked fine. My Android operating system updated and the app stopped working. uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. The app now opens and immediately stops. Tried this twice and no luck.

Excellent app. Works extremely well with my Samsung A20. Watch the online videos to learn how to use it. I especially like the "Mean Radius" capability. I've had no problems with this app at all.

I think the UI is clunky and not intuitive at all. The app could use a major overhaul to make it much easier to use. But it gets the job done if you don't mind redoing it a few times.

Nice app, completely meets my needs. I would by pro version, however it seems kinda expensive. All I need is to get rid of adds, so I would pay 2/3 of current price...

I just don't see how this app could be useful, that is any more useful than riding the information down myself and or video taping my own shooting sessions. if I'm wrong or missing something please say so.

I use this app on a Samsung Galaxy 8+. It works flawlessly. This app is super easy to use. I just take a picture of my targets at the range and when I get home I enter the data and get the results. I highly recommend this app.

I use this app nearly every day, and purchased the pro just to support the developers. It does it's job well, no problems, and no fuss.

User interface is not intuitive and there is no obvious way to find instructions. No help or tutorial. I guess it might work if you could ever figure out how.

Hole sizes change upon rotation. App ignores orientation of photo as taken. All my targets need rotating, which breaks the hole size and consequently the group size, thus invalidating the app's entire reason for existing. LG Stylo 4.

crashes when trying to choose a picture. Worked fine on Samsung S6, but I can't get it to work on S10+.

Handy app, saves me the time of having to manually measure my groups and creates a picture record and stats I can easily reference anytime.

Works pretty good. But you have to clear your groups every time otherwise the MOA and group size gets messed up. Wish I knew that before going over 2 sheets of targets 😂

Confusing as hell and not consistent with how it works. I think it could be great if it helped you use it. I am not good at guessing how things should or shouldn't work

It's a useful app, but the UI is very hard to use and it's lacking some features that you'd expect it to have.

You definitely need to spend 10 minutes reading the instructions but really worth it, great app which gets better and better.

Great. Would have been 5 stars if it included scope adjustment settings calculations for elevation and bearing (wind)

this is the most useful app I've ever downloaded. I'm buying the paid version, not because I think it will be better... but as a thankyou for making this free.

Very good, but missing labels for mean radius and point of impact.
