Rapala Fishing - Daily Catch

Devs, please read for real bugs. I'm playing on a Galaxy Luna. Whenever I get an ad that is canted to the side or using the screen long ways, it will not play the ad. It's really frustrating when I'm trying to catch sharks and they break the line, which happens alot if you don't get super lucky. This also happens when I'm trying to watch ads too when I'm doing the 9 slot randomizer. This is pretty frustrating BUT beyond that this game is so so soooo addicting to me. I had a snook on the line and all the sudden the shark came up and ate him and then I was now fighting a shark instead! This is by far one of the best free games around if you like fishing. It's worth it to toss them a few bucks because this is polished and fun. You can also get gold without having to buy it or grind too hard for it. This is a game I will be playing for a long time coming. Good job guys! Now if you can sort out the ads problem with them just bringing up a black screen with a countdown timer and nothing else, that would be awesome. Thanks guys!

I’ll start with the negative. Art direction was missing. The muddy textures and stiff animations are something we saw back in the mid-late 90's. That doesn't kill it, but because you're looking at that nearly 100% of the game, it's an issue. Each body of water is also just pea-green, even the Gulf of Mexico. Spring for better art and art direction please. UI is clunky and poorly worded in places. The most irritating situation is when you’re in a TIMED tournament and the game has an uninterruptible video you must watch for 5+ seconds. Swallow that when you're trying to land your biggest fish! It's not a bad game, but it's very unpolished. The upside is there are some fun challenges and making progress feels good. I really like the sparkle-fish which when landed give you a lure as well as the fish. There is potential here and hopefully the current version doesn’t block them from future improvements.

I would give this 5 stars, but nope. It has decent to nice graphics, and the gameplay is good. But, the game keeps crashing, and I lose all my stuff. I was a level 16 with so much lures and gold, and when it crashed, a lot of stuff just disappeared. I signed in with Facebook, and when I tried to recover my items they were just gone. I'm so pissed, and I can't get my account back.

The good: Bottom line, it's fun. Gameplay is good, sometimes challenging but usually fairly easy to catch fish. The lake and lure unlock system is done pretty well. Graphics are very nice. The bad: It would be nice if it also ran in landscape mode for tablets. Also, the timer to redeem large fish for rewards seems kind of pointless. I catch 5 monster fish, and then I can't do anything for the next 3 or 4 hours. So I log off for hours. It's like they don't want me to play the game. Why?

Best fishing game on Play. If you can sign in! But that's not saying all that much. It's a love hate with this one. Doesn't progress naturally in goals and objectives etc., and after a certain point there's nothing left to earn. I'm on level 60 and haven't opened a new lake, lure- anything since *many* levels back. It just stays where it's at as far as fun. Having said that, it's the most realistic available and the graphics are very well done. It's a good game if you don't mind monotony! Haha.

It's a great way to kill some time while relaxing at the same time. I wish you'd kept the Jaws music theme when one casts into a hotspot. It got one excited and more aware that a Legend was lurking about. As far as video games go, it's the next best thing other than grabbing one's actual fishing pole and heading out to the lake. It's fun, interactive and challenging. It will demand ones attention and learned skills as one levels up. I wish it was available for my xBox One. Great job Rapala!

I absolutely love this game! However...I'm having 2 very frustrating issues with ads... (1) At times when a monster fish snaps my line & I have the option to watch an ad to keep trying, after I've watched the full ad & close out of it, the game says it couldn't find an ad & I can spend 50 gold instead. (2) Some of the ads popping up at various times don't ever give me an option to close out of them. I can't even hit the back button. I have to close out the game & my tourney progress is lost.

I love this game! The graphics are great, and the challenges and tournaments are a lot of fun! Definitely can be addictive at times because it is that good.. I really hope you guys plan to update the app by adding more fishing spots, different fish to catch, along with additional new lures in the near future? No doubt, that would be the icing on the cake for this game to be truly perfect!!

It's a decent game & I love the fact that there are no timers or stamina or anything, so you can just keep playing. You might not be able to keep every fish, but hey. But I only rated it 3 stars because there videos don't work. I keep getting offers for free gifts, or a chance to save my fish if it gets away, provided I watch a video. But they won't load; it keeps telling me to check my internet connection & try again. But it still doesn't work. Not on my WiFi at home, my company WiFi at work, my Verizon cellular data, doesn't matter. The videos won't load. If this were fixed, I would update my review & rate higher.

Decent game... You need gold for a lot of stuff which isn't easy to come by unless you spend money. I buy enough lures in the summertime so where I shouldn't have to buy it for a game. Maybe integrate a code scanning tool that if you buy it in the store you could scan it and have it for the game. Maybe a different way of reeling the fish in so it makes it more Interactive.

Not terrible, but not great either. As other reviews have mentioned they start you out bare minimum with little room to advance for some time. They show you ads while in timed tournaments where you have minutes to catch as many fish as you can in 5 minutes. It's lacking in overall design. The graphics are good, but game play is troubling, with issues such as broken line or small few pound fish taking long to reel in.

This is a great fishing game, original controls, realistic graphics under the water & fish. However only 3* The ad's are a little overboard & ad's for bonus could be a little more generous. The Permits for each lake & I mean EVERY lake don't last long & constantly have to pay to renew which makes it hard to progress, as new equipment is expensive compared to the payouts.

I love this game, HOWEVER, Ive opened up every single lake, I own every single item there is to own, I've caught every single fish of every size, I've played the tournaments too many times to count and I'm quite bored of all the repetitive missions. I was SO happy to find a really good fishing app but because there are no more lakes to open up and no new fish to catch etc, I've completely stopped playing because it's BORING! PLEASE ADD MORE TO YOUR GAMES, LOTS MORE!!!!

Your "expert" is a nuisance, your silly "secret pattern" finger prompt never goes away (major distraction), and the videos for additional money won't load (my "internet connection" is just fine). Why don't you just offer a paid version and focus instead on fixing the many problems within the game? Heck, now I see why I don't have any Rapala lures in my actual tackle box. Your emphasis is misdirected. Update: The "pattern display" button in settings doesn't work. Tried it. Tried reinstalling.

I use to absolutely love this game. Played for hours at a time. But, for some reason, now the patterns for the lures never seem to save. Also it doesn't even let you know if you have the right pattern while trying to attract fish. How are you suppose to know if it's the right pattern if it doesn't let you know? Fix that, and its 5* from me

This game is super addictive. It lets you play with plenty of coins. Gold is harder to get but you maintain enough to keep you in the game at a competitive level. My only complaint is. You should make a "Are you sure?" pop up, for submitting a tournament, when you still have time left in tournament. I have submitted my game many times after an add to play longer just because the "submit" button doesnt change to "Keep fishing" fast enough. Overall favorite game on my phone.

The game is great except for one really annoying thing. When I watch ads to extend the tournament or get a second chance at catching a fish that just broke my line about a third of the time, I still don't get the bonus ads and the game acts like I didn't spend the time watching. I enjoy the game elsewise but if this continues I could see myself uninstalling the game cause it's just not worth the frustration.

Way to many ads. Graphics are awesome. Ads ads and more ads. Some ads in wrong language. 60 percent of tournaments are catch as many fish as u can BORING. Video loading problems video freezing problems. 99 percent of users unistall after three weeks because way to many problems. They just dont get it. Same problems over and over and over

Love playing the game. Am/was in the low 70s level and opened the game a few days ago and asks to connect using Facebook, or continue without saving. When I try connecting using Facebook ( which is usually what I do) it has an authentication error and asks me to log in again. I've spent alot of time upgrading and playing this game to lose my progress. My profile is still there, but all my unlocks and upgrades are gone since I cant log in through facebook. Two emails to the creators, nothing yet

Overally exciting, the most interesting being that camera is underwater. However, there is a lot that can be improved - too few maps limited to North America, textures are poor and their placement nonsensical (e.g. round pile of grey stones in the middle of lake surrounded by red rocks), underwater vegetation and object have no effect to line, only three species of fish per lake etc.

Epic game. Epic support team. I lost all my data to a factory reset but I reached out and they were able to get me restored pretty much back to where I was. Maybe adding cloud save would be a benefit for players but like I said the support staff definitely took the time to help me. It wasn't like some bot cookie cutter assistance. After catching several legendary fish there was no way I was going to start from scratch. Again much love! By far the best fishing game available.

It takes a little practice at first, but once you get into it and work everything out it's a brilliant game. Not p2w, and you can win lures and other great prizes from watching vids daily 'optional'. Free lures can also be found occasionally when catching fish. After playing Fishing Clash for over a year, this game makes a welcome change. No bugs, no power ups, no p2w.

It's an awesome little game that passes the time. Annoying things, when you hook a monster or legendary, the little circles get fast and disappear forcing you to eventually watch an ad to resume. Hate that. Otherwise, good game. New lakes would also be appreciated.

I was "almost" give this app a 5 star. Yes, a wonderful gameplay, decent graphic are quite deserved the stars. But BIG NO. Those annoying ads ruin my gaming experience. This app is supposed to be an advertising for that brand, but ads inside ads? Do you really need funds that bad? The main company didn't give enough allowance?

Everything about the game is fun but the ads get in the way. Want to switch maps? Ad (sometimes twice). Want to change gear? Ad. That's on top of watching ads to swap goals, getting another chance to catch a monster fish if it breaks your line, the daily coins (a pittance), and ads for the bonus coin game every 16 hours. Keeping the ads to the bonus stuff and not during normal gameplay, or option to turn off all ads for $2-5 dollars would make this so much better.

Love this game when I can't get out to have a flick! The fish never stop biting with great graphics, Addictive lure swipe pattern controls, Rod and reel upgrades, Loads of real rapala lures to choose from, PvP fishing tournaments plus lots of different species of fish to catch that will keep you entertained for hours. I did have an issue with lost progress but that has been sorted out by friendly customer support. Would love to see a cloud save feature to back up my saves in future 😁

I would highly recommend this game! It's amazing. The graphics are wonderful, the lures seem spot on, so all in all you will not be disappointed. I've got some family and friends who became addicted just as much as I am with this game. There's only one thing I got a little frustrated with and that's when I had to buy a new phone and wasn't able to get into my old account that I had for a few years. Which I spent loads of money on. I lost all my progress and had to start from level one.

Bloody amazing. Love it. Maybe include energy/strength and upgrade by going to gym/workout. But, love it! All my friends are playing it and absolutely loving it. Strongly recommend. Cheers,

A bit of difficulty learning codes, but once I got to know HOW the codes worked I enjoyed fishing a lot more. Heck I'm sometimes "on the water" for up to 2 hours at a time. Love it! Good job, guys,. 💗
