Better off using a book. The practice sets are way more advanced then the theory. Doesn't prepare you properly to complete the practice questions and gives you a real vague introduction. Basically, the purpose of the app is to try and entice you to pay for their courses, which are really overpriced. Also, doesn't even have the program I'm applying to at University of Florida and while it allows you to click "add a school", it never updates.
The app really helped a lot to prepare for the GRE! With a little around 30 days only until the test, I paid the subscription for 1 month, dedicated about an hour every day for the exercises, learned new vocabulary during my daily commute, and I was able to increase my expected grade in 20 points :) My final grade was really good, and similar to what the app predicted. Only bad thing: there's no one-month subscription available for the web app, and I was limited to use mobile only :(
Such an amazing app to have while prepping for the GRE. I can use it during work breaks and for short study sessions. In-depth answers and explanations, various vocabulary cards to study, and a personalized path for you to meet your GRE goal! It also encourages you to link with schools you are interested in and rates you on a leaderboards as extra initiative to complete sections! So thankful I found it!
The app keeps hanging everytime i open it, everytime i try signing in it notifies me that their is something wrong and starts automatically preparing to sign in then hangs it definitely has proven to waste my time more depending on this app for my vocab or math questions. This app couldve been the best if it worked!
Decent. Would consider subscribing. EDIT: App is really quite buggy, especially the schools section. Won't let me add schools as when I try to I add my address it brings up a Google search which doesn't return anything. Please improve as the rest of the app is great.
Just downloaded the app to help study for my upcoming test. This app is horrible. Nearly 50% of the math questions display as "[math processing error]" and therefore I cannot understand what the question is asking nor can I properly answer it. On top of that, about 1-2 questions out of the 4-5 that are asked when studying never display. There's just a constant loading circle and therefore, again, I cannot answer the question because it's never actually displayed. Deleting the app now
Im paying $9.99 for a moth subscription. I do like the app. I havent taken my GRE yet, so I cant say how effective it is, but the questions and explanations they give seeem helpful. The reason why Im giving 4/5 is that while the extra features are all nice they will sometimes have a dated feel. Like being given the choices of (2017, 2018spring, 2018fall, or 2019). It makes me worried that I should be using an app thats kept more up to date. Still, Im enjoying this more than my books.
This app is very helpful to practice a little everyday. On top of using other platforms to study like vocabulary apps, reading, math practice and the prep book, this app ensures there is different types of studying going on. Any little bit helps.
I love this app, is pretty easy to use, the o terface is friendly. They rater you at the begging to make a study pathway for you. I found this app extremely useful to organize your schedule to stufy for the GRE, and the best part is that they provide you GRE type question with the explanation of the real answer.
IT'S a great app. people state that once they pay things are still locked. I bout the $9.99 month pacakge. everything is unlocked on mine. I like the repetitive questions. it allows me to practice over and over again.
This is an app that offers a bunch of content, well-desined and extremely wide. The exercices are challanger and motives the user to search for a breakthrough. I am very satisfied and I recomend you download and study with this app on a regular basis.
App asks for login details everytime, and then faces an issue signing in, after which it gets stuck on the loading screen with the rotating 4. If the objective of the app was to help me study, then it should not be such a waste of time.
As I was taking a test to see where I ranked, an ad I couldn't close out of popped open and caused me to lose progress. It was very frustrating
Till now i am only working on my vocabulary using the app and flashcard is really good woth its options to let you know how well you are doing and giving you revision till you get the word. Need to explore more though and hence 4 stars
I keep seeing math processing error in the practice questions of the quantitative part. I haven't been able to solve those questions and it's affecting my scores. HOW DO I FIX THIS? I have mailed the developer since and he/she is yet to respond. Not good at all! 😡
Really bad experience. Just bought a monthly subscription because i only need this app for 3 months but the fact is i can not cancel it anytime! (It means i need to pay for a full yea!!)
cannot do the math problems! Every question involving math has the math-y bits replaced with [math processing error] in bright red letters. For questions and answer choices! The other features seem to work fine, but zero math!
Whenever I open this app through notification, it asks me to review it. And if I cancel, it takes so long to go back. This is very annoying so I just close the app. Don't feel like using it.
When you subscribe to use app, then there is no unsubscribe option in the app or website! You have to email them and ask to do so, ridiculous! There are lots of bugs in the website version, also repetetive questions.
I bought mobile version. The texts and diagrams are tooo small. Also there is no zoom feature. It says tap to zoom but does nothing wen tapped. Rather it lowers my confidence for GRE. Please dont buy unless u r too sure. Buy magoosh instead.
The predictive score is baseless. It gave me a score of 50 for quant skills and when I took my institution's placement test I got placed into remedial math. The lessons are more basic than what you'd get from Googling the topic. Asking for a refund.
Not good according to gre level. I found the level of questions okay but the word meanings given are not correct many times. Don't read vocabulary section.
An amazing app for GRE preparation. It covers topics comprehensively. Along with this, the vocabulary section is awesome as it has lots of words which are rare and can help in the GRE prep. I love the User Interface of this app.
UPDATE: I chose the monthly recurring payment option as i only had one month before test day. MAKE SURE you know how to cancel this...luckily i did my payment through paypal, but they refuse to respond and i couldnt find information from them anywhere. After the test, i think some of the questions were comparable but i completed the course and during test day...well, i was not prepared. The app estimates scores quite a bit higher that what is earned. I initially really liked this app and would have given it 5 stars, but recently it has been crashing every single time I go to use my calculator, which is kind of important for most of the math problems, and makes progress nearly impossible and extremely annoying. However, this did not occur until halfway through the course. I think the content, When working properly, is very helpful they just need to fix these problems and work out these bugs.
