Remote Control for TV

This promised to be a great app. Great looking remote, clean looking interface. However the main reason you download is almost impossible to achieve. To try and use with your tv you have to find which of the hundreds or random codes might work with your tv. Further they are literally codes and aren't readable as the remote "options" remain in incoherent coding form. This makes the product totally useless, unfortunately.

Can't tell if it works. To many ads before setting up. TV model starts with a "T". Have to scroll to the TV brand then through each particular option under the tv brand. Tried 6 different options with ads popping up between each click. Many of the 4 star ratings appear to be for an older version. Current version can't tell if the ap actually works.

WAY too many ads. Ads would pop up every time I selected a different tv model. Was trying to find one that would work with my tv, seeing how it is a newer tv and not yet listed. It's a shame, because it seems like such a simple, nice looking remote. To the developer, I recommend an ad free setup process. Then bring in the ads AFTER the remote is configured with the tv or device.

It just wouldn't work! Most of these tv remotes don't work.. I had to uninstall my remote because Google uses most of my phone storage with apps I can't use, & no option to uninstall! Like 14google apps and I can't install more than 2 or 3 at a time! Grrrrr Most remote apps USED TO detect a remote that works for your tv, after you select your model (Samsung for me) Not anymore! It's ridiculous! Used to scroll through a few options, after selecting the model. Until one worked.. Used to take a minute or two at most..

Finding the correct remote for my TV is a nightmare. No easy way to go through the list at all. Basically trial and error and having to re scroll through the insane list to my TV brand EVERY TIME. I don't have any reasonable way of knowing which remote in a random list of files named something seemingly arbitrary is the correct one. Nice effort but definitely needs work in the usability area.

While the app does detect and recognise my TVs (unlike many other apps I tried), the remote itself doesn't work. I tried raising and lowering volume, muting, turning off two different TVs, etc... but none of the commands worked. There are also way too many ads. I understand that the app is free, but the type of ads and the way they're placed are making its usage (if it worked I mean) very disadvantageous.

Too many ads before you can even get started. Directions for set up are vague and in poorly translated English, and many models are unsupported, and yes this needs to load a config file for your TV and not for a remote, which is bonkers since manufacturers use the same remote for multiple tvs. Either way, 7 ads before I could find out the app doesn't work for my TV. That's messed up.

This is a great app, (NOT). Opened for around 30 seconds then force closed and now won't load back up. The list of available remotes is huge so unless you know your remote, you could be there a long time trying to find the right one. That's providing yours is listed and the app actually works for you.

Just downloaded the app. Luckily, there were only there remote models for my TV brand. However, I tried all of them, but none of them worked. Also, an ad plays between every single screen, which got annoying pretty fast. I understand the need for as income, but make sure your app works first before you pilfer other people's money.

Way too many ads.. selected watch ad to unlock remote, then it showed me two ads back to back, and then while trying to find remote settings that work for my TV, it would display an ad after every 3 button presses. I would rather pay someone to change the channel for me than to use this app

Was impossible to scan tv model for IR remote due to ads rate. Every 3-4 models I had to wait 5 seconds and then try close ads. After years of installing and uninstalling apps this is the first time I felt obligated to say Thanks but Im not interested & Stay away.

Adverts, hard to use in places with TV, can't flip back, forcing you to install other app which then charges you. The actual free app stopped working due to something I did or didn't do. Not me in theory.

Dreadful. Interrupted 3 times during installation alone by adverts, some of which could not be immediately closed. Selected wifi remote and the Samsung button. Every time, got an ad to watch a video about installing Movistar infrared remote. If selected "no thanks" got returned to previous screen. Never able to complete installation.

I can't find the remote for my TV. I searched & searched but eventually gave up, there's literally no way to tell which remote works & even then, I don't remember this working for my TV the last time either. I was hoping they would've fixed this app since the last time I downloaded it but it's still just as trash.

Sorry, this app was really a waste of time. While I went through the list it had my TV listed selected It had my remote control listed I selected it. But the app never worked. And I do understand everyone's frustration with the constant ads. Every button you push brings up an ad. I respect the fact that ads are necessary. But I shouldn't have to respond to an ad every time I push a button. Even though the button didn't do anything to the TV. Lol

The app has a long list of manufacturers that takes a long time to scroll through and then you have to select your remote's encoding from a list with no scan function. If you get it wrong you have to sit through two ads and start over from the beginning. I don't have the patience to see if one of the ones I didn't try works with this method. Edit: I found the remote's model number. The program doesn't have it anyway.

Gives u an add every 5 seconds even when trying through tv remotes to see which one works for your tv. Tried 139 different remotes while being bombarded with ads and at the end of it none of them worked. Piece of garbage dont download this.

This remote control app requires that you know a lot of technical information about your tv & the original remote. Once you select your tv brand it asks you to select remote control type. I don't know about you but I have no idea what that means! I went through several times & selected different remotes to no avail.

Absolute garbage. Tons and tons of ads. Almost every single button push results in an ad. There is no tv filter so you will have fun scolling through that list over and over again untill you find what you need. 0/10. It annoyed me really hard. Very bad app.

Absymal , how do you even make money off an app like this , oh yeah the constant ads hitting your face every two seconds ....the ads that even if you had a decent working app (you don't ) would still be enough of disturbance to my experience that I would uninstall your app based upon that alone . Half of your remotes don't work , ads are intrusive ....horrible app

Was unable to link to my TV due to numerous confusing options to select my TVs signal. Also, there were ads about every 3 seconds and it was VERY overwhelming. I gave up trying to find the right signal for my TV after spending 5 min trying to close all the ads to select a different signal.

Garbage. Ads up the (you know what) and it doesn't work. You are asked to choose your tv brand and then you have to pick what tv remote you have (from a list of about 60+). Goodluck! Tried a few of the remote models and they didn't work so I uninstalled. You'll have etter luck (and less time invested) with an actual universal remote for $15.

The only reason why I give this a 1 star is because I don't know what that list is all about after selecting the TV brand. I thought it was TV models at first, but found out that it was remote control models instead. After figuring that out, I couldn't find my specific remote that I need for my Sanyo DP32640 TV(which calls for a GXBM remote). The config just isn't there. There's also options on the original remote for specific funtions that seems to be difficult to change for configurations?

Downloaded the app and couldn't even open it. It just showed a black screen then the "This app is not reaponding" message. I've literally gone through the half list of TV remote apps on the Play Store and this one is the top rated but had the worst preformance!! That's not cool. Waste of time.

Don't feel lonely, this isn't the only bad review I've had to leave this morning. Easy to download easy to select your TV multiple to choose from. Mine was Emerson it it didn't give you any code no way to hook up to it. it allows you to choose between four types of remotes within that Emerson Choice. Tried two neither worked I don't have time to mess with it.

There is no single word I found to mark quality. It's really much more Bad and too much disgusting after install. Much more Ad in every click and all Ad for installing more disgusting apps. Not Connected though the TV showing in network. After a long when connect then no button work. Each Tap showing Ad.

Very little in the way of instructions. Choosing Sony as the TV brought up a huge list of TV or remote models (was not clear) None of which matched the Sony TV model i have. Maybe 6 or 7 ads or prompts to download other apps within the 5 min i used the app. There does seem to be a huge number of models listed which the only reason im giving it 2 stars instead of 1
