Remote Wear for Roku

Quick Start:
* Install the latest version of Android Wear from Google Play
* This app requires Android Wear version 1.1.1.1889093 or above to work
* Install Remote Wear app in your phone
* It will automatically install the remote app in the paired smartwatches
* Give it a few minutes for the smartwatch to install the remote app
* You can verify the remote app in the smartwatch's Start menu
* You can launch the remote in your smartwatch from the phone app
* Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device
* The phone app will detect the Roku devices in your network
* Select the Roku device you want to control in the devices menu
* Use the remote to control it from your phone app
* Open the remote app in your smartwatch and control your Roku from your wrist!

The app was easy to download, but not sure if it's my phone or an update is needed, but the watch app always makes me grab the phone to use it. I mean, what's the point of a watch app, if you need the phone to use it all the time. The watch has LTE, and connected to wifi.
I saw a Roku watch app advertised for the Apple Watch today and I thought, hey, I wonder if there's one for Android Watches...? Yup! I wonder why I didn't think to look out for this before... This app works perfectly with my 2019 TCL 75-inch Roku TV! Setup in less than 30 seconds! ****Please add Roku TV app custom shortcuts options for Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Vudu, Disney+, etc***
5 minute trial, clicks felt delayed and the strong vibration is annoying. The app also has to be running on the phone for the watch to connect to the Roku device. I might as well use the official Roku remote app on my phone if that's the case.
It took a few moments to get my Roku Streaming Stick+ and this app to talk to each other, but then it all came together like gravy! I've only ever purchased 5 items on the Play Store in 7 years, and this is one of them. No more hunting for my physical remote while I'm wearing my watch!!
No real thought put into UX, just a cash grab. "5 minute trial" then pauses what you're watching after it (I assume to try to strong arm you into upgrading). No volume controls which is arguably most important.
For one dollar it's convenient to have a Roku remote on your watch. But no volume control is a really big drawback for me personally.
won't work with watch at all. just keep getting the error message "WATCH NOT FOUND" and I've paid for the premium version. I have the 42mm Samsung smartwatch.
Functional UI, does the job. Would be an easy 5 stars if it was cleaner and had volume keys

OK app it connects fine to my s4 watch but it could be much better if it had a volume control
My only complaint is that i have to take my phone out to connect to the correct roku before i can use it on my Wear device

THIS IS NOT A REAL APP . It's an app ad. After a FIVE MINUTE trial, you have to WAIT FIVE SECONDS FOR EVERY SINGLE BUTTON PRESS. Unless, of course, you are willing to shell out money. Entirely dishonest. And then to top it all off, you have to have a companion app on the phone. The watch is on the wifi, why would it need a phone connection? #Uninstall
