Republic TV – Live Breaking News

After updating, the app has gone bonkers. It forced me to re-register which is so funny. After done with re-registering, when I went for live streaming, streaming keepson stopping. Even when one touchs the screen, it doesn't play. This is so annoying. What kind of updating has been done? Earlier version was damn good. Kindly revert back to older version or fix the bugs. Else I am going to uninstall it.

I have no issues with the content and I like the fearless journalism of Arnab but I have issues with the app itself. Every now and then, quite frequently too, the app freezes and I get the following notification at the bottom of the page: "you are currently offline". This isn't right as the wifi works just fine for every other app on my phone. The problem is with the app itself and I hope it is fixed soon!

I've noticed, to use this app (v2.1.3) I'm bound to set my navigation bar to old school "button-mode" to watch the live streamings in FULL SCREEN on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 plus. If I switch it to gesture-mode, in full screen live streaming vanishes immediately & crashes the app. Please resolve the issue at the earliest 🙏🙏

Rating the app itself, not the news and opinion. The App attempts to be snazzy and fails badly. 1. Too many ads. You open the app and you first have to view an ad to get to the breaking story. 2. When you want to exit, it asks 'Do you want to exit ?'. Very annoying. The very reason people are usung the app, is because they want a quick catch-up on breaking news and then switch back to work. 3. Do you need to play this annoying R. brand animation every time we open the app ? 4. Suggestion: OpEds

Too many ads. When you receive a notification of breaking news, you have to watch at least 2 ads, then takes you to live tv section. So you don't get to read the news that you got the notification for! So what's the point? They make you sign up and register for an app that's loaded with ads! I don't support it. Uninstalling! Hopefully I'll get better then will consider installing again.

Uninstalling the app. This app is full of ads. Open a news with video, it starts with ad and it repeats after 2 minutes. One can even see ads in the list of ministers and portfolios just released. If I have to bear that much to read the list, read the news, watch the video, it's better I go with Tak wale.

This App does not work on any wifi network until we change this to mobile internet data. The whole screen freezes and nothing works. Am really frustrated to see that while watching news the whole screen freezes. App Developers should have seen these kind of issues before releasing the updates.

Please do not show ads about republic tv on the app, because one who has downloaded the Republic TV app, is there need to request him to subscribe on YouTube? Your flash messages band on the TV screen is too wide, that it hides the important content many times. Mant times reporters repeat the same thing again and again. Let there be quality content, crisply presented. Two stars less for this reason. Change this and app deserves 5 stars.

The news feed on the home page should show full line of the news headline. It instead shows full photo of the news and only a few words of the headline. Everytime I start to use the app and eventually close it because I hv to click on every news to know what it is about. Can you pl fix it, quite annoying. But i respect and salute this channel especially for the debate shows. Only you dare to call spade a spade. Very few keep the guts to expose the nasty the way you do. Keep it up pls.

It was working fine till yesterday. Now even after we installing the app multiple times, I am not able to watch live tv. The minute I click on it, it buffers for 1-2 sec, and exits out of the app. Can you please forward this feedback and get it rectified. Thank you Nandini

App is really nice. But advertisements frustrated to the user. So many adds even in every 2 minutes add appears, even some times news are readable properly. This is informatic app not a commercial where Republic network media trying to earn money. There are so many other sources for earning money. Please remove the adds else I would go to uninstall the app.

Bad layout design.... why is the landscape mode(full screen) always opens in one direction? can't hold speaker side in left hand, in a noisy atmosphere keeping the speaker side towards the wrist is the best way to hold.. pls fix it back to default app behaviour, don't do non-sense over engineering.... I will revert my rating if theres an update on this behaviour..

Not be able to sign up and login i.e. i am not be able to see feed news It so funny. Talk to Developer he fix that issue right away. Now I am able to login Another thing worst design on dashboard such big photo is not required. Taking lot of space in height. App is not user friendly. There should be maximum number of text visible to the user.

Deleted the app as it has too many adverts and is annoying. Also you cant rotate the screen to watch the news in a bigger format to block the advert below. Would be good if these issues are addressed. No ads and horizontal viewing option requested.

App does not work after recent upgrade Live streaming does not work at all. One message "Drag to minimize" keeps on coming on every video that we play. It doesn't just go. Because I like this app, I gave 3 star. Correct it immediately.

Ever since I updated to version 2.0.5,I am asked to sign up either through Facebook or Google,after doing that the next prompt is to choose language,now when I press "Live" button,it just goes running in circles and either logs off on its own or gives one of 2 messages 1)Republic app has stopped Send feedback OR 2nd message what I get is Republic has stopped 1) Close app 2}Report/Send feedback or else after sometime it just reverts back to the phone main home screen.Its happening on both phones

This has been a very nice and error-free news app for so long until the last update !!! Since I updated the app to the latest version, I could not sign in back into it. Every time I wish to open the app it shows error msg and therefore, it became impossible to watch any news at all !! It's strange because until the update there was no issues ever. Please fix it ASAP. This app deserves higher rating but due to this sign up issue I gave 3 star. Will edit my rating if the issue gets solved soon...

Dear Sir, have been watching your channel for quite sometime now...I like to watch this channel not for the news but for the dramatics created by your news anchors. It gives a smile on my face seeing the way they keep jumping and running around without a purpose. Just to increase the level of antics they should cry and shed tears also when reading a sad news and should laugh and smile ear to ear while reading a pleasant article. They should be considered for drama and national awards as well..

The headlines of news on the app should be in such a way that it could be shown in one go. Half headlines could only be seen. This is very bad. Please organise the app properly. And so big pictures for one news is not necessary at the outset. Please fix this. It's appalling!

Please ask app developer to give maximize option to adjust as per viewers wish like YouTube. Example: if I maximize YouTube, it will be in maximize mode regardless of the mobile position (standing or sleeping mode). But your app minimize as soon as I put in standing position. Actually I am watching in sleep mode, where as YouTube have that flexibility. Your app presently not userfriendly... Please fix ASAP.

To many adds, that will block the whole screen. Looks more like ad agency than a news agency report. Very difficult and irritating to redeemed from the app. The screen is filled with loads of ad and less of news.

So many ads..The moment you open the app, there is an ad, browsing between stories there is an ad, even while exiting there is an ad. Bonkers! I deleted the app now.

The app used to be good. Now the app is full of ads. Every click shows full screen ads. This is ridiculous when you are trying to browse the news. Please fix it or else I will move on to different platform.

Latest update not working. Only the ads work. Haven't been able to see live TV or recorded debates for a week now. Why do you want to fix something which is not broken. Goodbye till you fix the issue. Don't need an app to watch ads.

Too many ads. They distract from the content. Also, every time I click on a link, I am forced to watch an ad for at least 10 seconds without an option to skip. Apart from that the content is excellent.

Nothing not to like about the app, the images can be improved by making it shorter, making for functionality Mission is to get the news to the reader, so probably it will require more investment on quality and quantity of articles.... Read the book powerful it covers Netflix content team culture, maybe you guys need to get basics of news right and still add fancy features and all.

the fastest and most updated news channel , though a few areas in India do not broadcast this channel , this app helps me keep in touch with the latest news and this channel is the one to update us with latest news exclusively. I have practically verified the fact.

Obviously Republic TV is the no. 1 news platform in India, no doubt. Watching and following Arnab has become a part of life. But I have a problem. Republic world cannot be logged into on regular basis. Watching it on mobile is quite cumbersome. I have not been able to log in since the last 5 days. Why is this happening? Kindly look into it so that we could enjoy the TV experience on the mobile phone too. Thank You.
