Even using the free filters, everytime I take a pic, it'll send me to subscribe rather than save my picture. Not sure this is what an app is supposed to do given it's free filters. Can't even tell you if the filters are any good since I can't see the end result.

Amazing app.simple to use. Cool filters. Some amazing filters are paid.. Editing my review: ad after every pic I take? Basically pressured to buy the premium app. It won't be long before this app loses fan base. What an awful app!

It's great when it works. I've used Retrica for years and now that I decided to pay for it, it only opens 10% of the time. Any plans to fix this? I can send you a video of it not working if needed. Over all tho... Pics come out nice a clear. In focus. Many filters to choose from. Quality is often lost on other camera apps but not Retrica.

Been using this for years as its a beautiful app. However, it doesn't save my photos anymore. I have auto-save on, more than enough storage which includes a 256mb card. Cannot understand this as I use the standard/free filters and it doesn't even save those. Please can this be looked into as it seems I am not the only one experiencing this. Thank you.

It seems like the app doesn't always save pictures!! I take pictures and they are not saved immediately but appear later on in the gallery, and sometimes I take pictures and they are never saved which is frustrating because I needed those pictures ,it seems like the app is working according to it's own accord, this malfunction is so annoying , is there any way I could retrieve those pictures because they are really important to me???

My back camera shows 4 panes, 4 images at the same time and for the life of me I can't figure out how to turn it off! Front camera shows normal picture. Jeez, how frustrating is this... just for the record: I just installed the app and opened it. Didn't change anything. Will try to find the proposed solution

It just say something went wrong,please try later! And finally say failed to save! new version in not good!

I'm starting to hate this app....👿 The old version was great... This one can't even save my pictures

I've taken thousands of photos with the app for the last 4 years. I loved it. However, since switching over to the subscription model, the app is unfathomable. Ads every other picture, app takes a while to start up, sometimes it starts and the image is stretched, or completely black. I would understand if they were offering more than before, but the app has actually gotten worse and they're asking for a subscription. Feels like they don't even care about their users.

I totally get the idea of basically forcing users to get the subscription and advising people to use a non-premium filter in order to be able to save your photos, but you guys... it doesn't even work like that anymore. It's with all filters. I might consider getting the subscription because I've always loved the filters, just make sure this app shows from the beginning that is NOT FOR FREE USE ANYMORE. 😒

Every filter, except three free ones, are premium. There is no "no filter" option. There is no clear indication of which filters are pay walled and which are not. Pick a filter and take a photo, you get a prompt to subscribe. All this adds to 1* "easy to use" rating. I can't, in its current state, say anything good about Retrica. Too many bad design choices to make users life overly complicated while using this camera.

I just downloaded the app, and you are immediately asked to upgrade to Premium. I opted for the 7 day free trial to give it a try, and quickly realized that if you want to upload photos from an album, you are taken to camera roll with no option to browse your folders. I have almost 20.000 photos, most of which are organized in folders. Without the option to quickly find the photo I am looking for, the app was useless. Canceled the subscription and will uninstall the app.

I have HAD IT with this Frenchin' app! If I could give this thing less than 1 star, I definitely would. This used to be one of my favorite photo filter apps. But, lately, I can't even save a photo without the damn Premium ad popping up and not even saving the damn photo! So, okay, you're meaning to tell me that in order to save any more photos (Even from the FREE filters), I gotta pay Premium? NOPE, thanks but no thanks! It was fun while it lasted, but it's time to part ways.

The new version of the app is very different and why is there a subscription now? I was happy to get the app back because I loved using it, but now, it really makes me miss the old version where my pictures would actually save. Even if I try using the free filters, the subscription ad keeps coming up and my pictures aren't saving! It only lets one particular filter save my pictures. It's actually kind of frustrating to use now.

This app used to be a 5/5 filter app with ad-free lifetime premium. Now they have moved to a subscription model and if you don't subscribe, ads appear after nearly every picture, making the app almost unusable. I'm switching to an alternative after using this app for years. (Don't bother replying to tell me about your subscription service. I don't want to pay a recurring fee. You ruined your app.)

The filters are cool, but looks like the app is having too many glitches at present. I am not able to edit all the photos that I have taken from my normal phone camera like it used to in the past. The photo after being edited gets saved as blank and doesnt get saved with the filter. I hope it gets resolved soon or there is no point in using the app

Retrica used to be a fun app. I've had it for years an really loved it. I would gladly buy a pro version with say 10 filters. I can understand a model where additional filters cost extra, say 0.50 a piece or 2.00 a pack, you can try them and then you buy the ones you like. Subscripsion with a monthly fee is stupid. I will never subscribe to nonessential toys. Period. I dont need endless amount of filters, its pointless. If the ads get too annoying I will just uninstall and find something else.

I was the first one to buy this app and recommend it to others! And now it has switched to a monthly subscription model and shows ads like I'm out shopping at night in a third world country! Pathetic. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone... Go look elsewhere... For this price you can have much better experience. Reply to the Developer: what about the money I paid for premium when it first came out? The premium features were for a one time payment and I paid. I don't want more filters, but ads? Nah

Retrica was working so perfect with a huge number of filters, but from last 4-5 months I am facing issue. Everytime I click a photo, the app crashes and suddenly gets closed. The photo does not get saved too. It' really a huge bug. I am not sure if this is going to be resolved or I should go and uninstall and stop using Retrica.

The new upgrade is so dull. The UEx is bad... the options in the footer require multiple clicks if you select an option by mistake... No preview, photos go to the gallery directly.. Filters that were free earlier have now been put in for membership which is much higher than comparable apps... It was my go-to camera app... now am looking for other options 😭

I was using this fine until a few years, and recently it had this problem of so much noise in my photos, and there's nothing wrong with my normal camera. Hence uninstalled the app and reinstalled two months later, worked fine for a week, and now there's this issue of 1. not saving, in auto save mode 2. Whole phone crashing when i click save in manual save mode. I had read the reviews and turned the optimising option, as mentioned by the developer. Still problem persists Can't find a better app

I originally downloaded this because of all the filters it says it has but I can't get past the ads to do anything with the camera not to mention the camera is extremely blurry with no real way to adjust the settings. The ads pop up in the middle of me taking an actual picture!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm giving only one star. Hated this new version. Old version was much better than this. There was so many good effects in the old version. I have posted a selfie on instagram. Due to the shortage of storage space I have uninstalled the old Version. My friends have appreciated me seeing that pic. Many of them said that they have installed Retrica, but they don't know which effect was that. when I have re installed Retrica after few months most of the effects have been changed😞

I used to like this app a lot. It worked like a charm. Now everytime I click a picture, the app automatically closes and the picture is not saved. Now if the picture somehow is saved, it has sort of green border. I have tried uinstalling, and then again installing and updating the app. But it still misbehaves.

I paid for the full app and filters ages ago. Now the app is filled with ads and everything demands a monthly payment. Seriously I used to rely on you now you are USELESS. Update. I haven't seen pro offered in the store or app in three years. If it does exist in some back door switch in the program I can't find it cause ever five seconds there is an ad that throws me back to the main screen. And no I'm not buying a monthly subscription to a pro version I already paid for. Go be scummy elsewhere

Retrica has become one of the worst camera apps!! If you can not pay for it your are going to suffer !! 5 Sec ad. After each single photo and worse I changed the filter and started to take photos which apparently none of them saved with no notice whatsoever just begging for money!!! I lost a very memorable time of my life thanks to this idiatic idea of letting people shoot the photo but not saving it unless they pay !

It's a good app,, i am using it from past 4-5 years but in every update i seek for one feature and one correction. Retrica should introduce the feature of pinch and zoom while taking photos because it's very helpful for several conditions and aslo when we record videos in it,, video doesn't catch up well with the audio, audio starts after one second of pause and that completely ruins the whole video. Hope Retrica reads this and try to fix it.

Wonderful app with any filter effects, which i am using since years. Suddenly it doesn't save photos anymore, instead comes an ad after the snap. Fiddling with app permission etc. and later realizing that Retrica now want some subscription money to be able to save pictures. No more distinguishing between free and premium filters? Fair enough, if you are the unique app for using filters in the Play store. But you ain't, so goodbye! Did Facebook buy you or just new kids in the management team?

I useto love retrica. Now it doesn't store my photos and I can not edit my pictures from gallery either. The app stopped working. I can choose a filter and take a picture (I hear the snap sound) but it is not in my folder even though I select to auto save. When I open gallery to edit a picture its just black and there is no photo to edit. :(
