This app doesn't work, hasn't been updated in a minute and is just another abandoned IKMultimedia app zombie stumbling around the play store. On a positive note, if you've got either one, it's a great way to waste your time and money. Could have been awesome and valuable, but they decided burning buyers and blowing everyone off is more their lane. Ya gotta admit, IK is always on brand lol.
Fonctionnait très bien. Super appli. Malheureusement depuis quelques temps ne faire que planter. Très décevant. J'aurais donné un 5...mais ne fonctionne plus. Worked very well. Great app. Unfortunately for some time now has only crashed. Very disappointing. I would have given a 5 ... but no longer works.
I found this app to be great! Used it all the time until I had to upgrade my phone. Doesn't work with Android 11. I really hope you guys can fix this.
It WAS great but now, every time I try to load a new song it just crashes. Unusable.
Hey team Love the app was exactly what I needed. It has logged me out however and trying to reset my password to no avail. Are you able to help? Struggling without the app
I paid for this app, THEN they disabled a feature. So, I got my kid ready to practice, and she had to wait while I messed around having to 'unlock' features I JUST PAID FOR!!! Total scam. I'll never give these people another dime. YOU DON'T HASSLE PEOPLE AFTER THEY PAY YOU!!
Not what I believed it was. The app does not read out chords of songs and displays them as you are playing.
Keeps crashing when loading songs. I have paid for the full version
The chord identifier not really accurate. Doesn't worth to pay.
why its show that the product is not purchased but im already purchased it!!!!!!!!!
A quick post about the app in its free form - seems to work ok on a GS6, logged in on an existing account to activate the free low quality tempo reduction feature and the looping works well enough to be useful. No issues in finding the mp3s on the phone, but unsurprisingly it can't make use of the google play library. GIven the choice I'll continue to use Capo on a laptop, but it's good to have a mobile alternative.
Excellent for learning new songs. The loop option is great for learning instrument parts. Change key is fantastic to set key to a voice range for easy singing. Unfortunately the chords are not perfect but that is caused by the ambiguity of the instruments playing together as explained in the preview or manual. But it is close enough to figure the chords out. Great app. thanks.
Don't buy this if you have a Samsung s7. I unlocked the bundle and now files garble, click and pop when playing at all speeds. Even 100% with no transposing active. I want my 9.99 back but couldn't return thru playstore because of in app purchase... ugh!
Seriously, this app would be amazing if they had put thought into the little stuff. Of course, it's not perfect at getting the chords of every song, but it's close enough. The real issue is how you get the good part of the app. I walk around with >15GB of music on my phone, thousands of songs. The UI requires me to spend MINUTES scrolling to a song who's title starts with the letter "T". Is it that hard to make an expandable tree? to include a search bar? to organize by artist?
Found mp3 files okay and played them. And that is all the free version does: anything else you have to pay for, and I am NOT dishing out money without being able to test how effective the product is. Uninstalling
The chords are not even close to what they actually are supposed to be. Also it's only chords not single notes.
Riff maestro cannot find my song library, even though I moved it to a level one folder. Extended communication with tech support has not resolved the problem. Basically doesn't work on Android 5.1 with HTC Sense.
App doesn't open properly on dell venue 7. Bummer, was really looking forward to checking it out.
Doesn't do anything but play riffs unless you pay for the feature. Free riffs included are pretty bad too.
Hello, i've bought all inapp purchases in riff maestro and after some time they appear to be inactive. Im dealing with this issue not for the first time. Can you deal it once so i forget about it.
Like all IK Multimedia products i owned it is garbage. Rather use riffstation on a pc. This is a waste of time.
Just a shallow way of making money. I can get this information from a decent tuner..
Could be improved in some areas as other reviews highlight. But I find it works very well. I've used a lot of IK Multimedia's products and they are great. Chord recognition is fairly good and the sound quality is excellent on my Note 3. Song loading and processing takes a while though.
Should be able to see BPM and also be able to hear the metronome at half or quarter speed. To avoid metronome in 1/8. This is a very easy and significant fix, so Pls let's have it quickly. Quality of slowing down is good. All your products are of excellent quality. Specially AmpliTube is absolutely the best of its kind. Thanks for the good work to all of you.
First off... If you are selling features make sure the most basic reason for downloading is available for use even if it is for a limited time only. No point having a music player on my phone until I buy the rest of the features.
It only works with MP3 files. It needs to work with other audio file formats that are Android compatible otherwise it seems to work OK.
This app has great potential, and I hope the developers continue to tweek it, as apps that do what this one does are very few in number. I'm a performing musician, and love apps like this one! The main thing that needs big improvement is whatever algorithms the developers use to figure out the chords. There's frequently chords missing in sections of songs where there should be maybe 3 chords in a particular area vs. just 1 that gets shown in that part. Seems it needs to better recognize minor chords as well. Also, as someone else pointed out, maybe a quicker way to navigate and load songs in your library vs. having to scroll through the entire list. On a very positive side, the app has a very nice, user-friendly interface. The animation is smooth, and the sound quality when changing speeds and pitch is excellent. I also like that it displays the cover art from whatever song has been loaded. I'm hoping to see additional improved versions from the developers on this potentially awesome app!
