Fantastic little app, so nice to have something that just works and doesn't plaster ads all over your screen or try to sell you extras. Would be really nice to have a "roll again" button on the output panel, just to make repeated rolls with the same dice one tap instead of having to tap once to close the panel and then do another roll, but that's just me being lazy!

For most people, this is the only dice app you'll ever need. I'll only address the features that aren't super obvious. You can make custom dice with up to 100 sides. An N-sided die will have an equal chance of rolling any number 1-N. There is no option to change the chances, or to make custom faces. By default, when you roll, it shows you the total value of your roll and the result of each die in descending order. You can change this to ascending or natural order if you like. Great app.

+ No adverts or in app purchases is a massive plus. + The use of a dark theme for it is appreciated. + I've had no issues with screen orientation or split-screen usage, and having a primarily landscape tablet I know you cannot that take the former of those for granted. It'd be great if there was a quick custom roll option without having to add a die and then go back and roll it. With the option to add these custom dice anyway makes this only a minor niggle.

It has dice, they seem to roll fair. Almost exactly what I need. There's only one way I think it could be better, and that's if there were options to drop the lowest dice rolled or something. Like when rolling stats, 4d6 dropping the lowest result. But as it is now, the app is still the best simple dice roller I can find.

This gets the highest possible recommendation: "it is as described." You can select how many of a die you wish to roll, and optionally add a bonus or demerit to the sum of the roll. By default, standard dice are listed, but you can easily add a non-standard sided die to your list in the "dice bag" settings. The app also stores your roll history, and can be easily cleared. And no ads! Constructive feedback: the dice bag should be updated to allow toggling to hide the standard dice.

Being visually impaired this is the Best Buy slower I have found. It is simple and easy to use with the ability for my screen reader to actually read the results. A little convoluted for me to add more dice and add modifiers and the remove them wish there was just a clear button or something said for I use this for all of my RPG dice rolling.

Simple, quick, able to add a weird variety of custom dice sides. No concern, which I love, with physics graphics or over the top graphics. Unfortunately, the poor luck streak can be long on this app. Got so bad I HAD to go back to dice. Also, would love to type the number if dice I need or the bonus. For my personal campaign it can get rather high and tapping can be long winded.

Great app. Clean and functional interface that's perfectly sufficient for the most common use cases. Might not do everything that people want (e.g. sharing results) but it's called "Simple Dice" for a reason. Adding all those bells and whistles would just mean more bugs.

the app is really useful if you don't have dice or need to roll alot of dice, I think it would be nice to increase the number for custom dice, and if you could roll more than one type of die at the same time (1d6 and 4d10) it would make things a little easier, other than that minor inconvenience though it's incredibly useful.

This app is exactly what it says in the title. It's super helpful to keep this on my phone for when I accidentally forget my dice at home, and the mostly black interface of the app means it barely uses any of the battery on my phone due to the OLED screens.

Nice and simple for most things, but I don't like the inability to use different kinds of dice, like 2d8 + 1d6. I'm probably going to keep looking for an app with rolling animation.

Super easy and straight forward. No confusing bells and whistles or extras. I also really like how it sorts the dice rolled in highest to lowest. This is very helpful for diced pool games like Exhaulted and shadowrun where you only care about 5,6 or 7,8,9,10. Def reccomend to any of my players when they forget their dice. ;p

It's perfect. You can add any sided die you want. I wish I could customize the die appearance, but this is "simple dice". It would be nice if I could type a number instead of tapping + and -. There's no feature to use loaded dice, but I'll use my python script for that.

Exactly what it says on the label. No fancy interface and graphics (and no ads). Just input type and number of dice plus modifier, hit roll. Keeps a rolls history and allows for custom dice (d30 anyone?). Pretty much all I need, minus the useless fluff and dressing. Love it.

This is A great simple dice roller. Though I do wish that there was a way to change the place of the custom die. This game would be even better if it had further optional custimization like being able to preset the Modifier/Xd for each custom die or uploadable die pictures/backgrounds. I also sugest higher and lower Modifier/Xd values.

Great app! Works great, lots of options for dice, just wish it would show an image of the die with random amounts of sides, or that it would have a dice-roll animation. Great app!

Very simple and clean, no fluff or animations that can slow things down. You just tap the buttons to add dice and modifiers, then tap the die you need. No ads, it has a dice history for when you back out a bit too quickly, and it tells you individual rolls.

Really like the way this app looks. It's elegant with it's simplicity. The largest shapes of the dice are easy to see for the visually impaired. I would like to suggest that you add a "voice feature", the app could announce the result rolled.

It's simple, it works, its easy, it doesn't glitch. Truly an app that has helped me a ton. Recommended it as a cheap alternative to expensive die sets

Ted. S. Feb 19, 2020

It's a great app, it works well, it has any dice-rolling feature I've needed. Sometimes it's a pain to keep clicking the plus button when I have to roll huge amounts of dice, but it's not a big deal by itself. Everything else about the app is perfect

Its actually a very useful app to use if you don't have table top dice. The only thing missing is you don't see dice being rolled. Just press and a random number pops up. It would be a nice option to include the visuals to if possible

I just needed dice. And there it is. Great for tabletop wargaming where I need to quickly roll dozens of dice at a time. Easy to make custom dice and input modifiers. I can't imagine a way they'd make it better without losing the appeal to all dice using audiences.

Very good except for flawed multiple throws. It seems like they have programmed the random number generator wrong since it generates same result in a row far too often than a uniform distribution. My guess is that they use the tick as seed each time instead of creating a single random generator and use that for all rolls in a batch

Clean, easy, to the point. In the middle of a game I don't need colors and sounds. Just give me the numbers. Making your own dice in dice bag and save it is quick and keeps the game moving. Good rolls too. Nice random. I'll use this application in my games.
