RS File Manager : File Explorer EX

I like this simple and fast file explorer and it has multiple tab option. I like the most of their "Share via browser" thing by long pressing on any files or folder. it let me share specific files or an entire folder with other person from any phone or PC browser connected with my phone hotspot. it's faster and safer than ftp file sharing. now I don't need another app just for sharing files. thanks to rs team

Amazing app, love it, but minor issue. I usually use this app for messing around with audio files so I have a simple way to store and check on them, but as of this morning both my video and audio files say that they're either empty or cannot be detected. I don't want to have to uninstall then reinstall because I have things saved onto the browser that I don't want deleted. Otherwise, would be 5 stars.

It's a good app but. 1. It's so annoying that it doesn't save and reopen your previous open tabs when is spp restarted. I have to manually reopen each of my favorite tabs. 2. Open tabs should show folder name or at least number it so you easily distinguish them easily. Right now it show only an icon. 3. Search can't be filter by file extension. For example, I wanted to search files start with flower with file extension .tiff. Thanks

Best Explorer app that I have found that is very fluid wether using local or cloud storage. Has password protected settings and can encrypt your files at 128bit. Has a nice looking dark theme and its full of other cool features that are too numerous to mention here.

Very high quality app and easy to use. My one issue is that the cut feature doesn't work as it's meant to. Still a very good app and I use the FTP client on this on my modded 3ds and modded vita and it does the job.

This is quickly becoming a favorite file manager app for me. While it has a Dark theme option, I wish it had a real dark black OLED option like Solid Explorer (my favorite) dies. Any plans for a black theme?

Tried copying game files onto my SD card as a backup cause I needed to delete an app and reinstall it and I pasted the files in the correct directory, waited for the transfer/copying of files to finish and once it was done I swiped out of the app, came back a minute later to find out all the files I'd copied just weren't there. Not a single trace so thanks for deleting months of work.

I'd love to find an explorer app to manage files on my android I feel that EX explorer is a good and easy to use app for managing files including files in the network. It used to make my work run as smoothly. And I recommend it to my friends. At now. the ads show full screen and can't close it until the show is over it changed my feelings. It will show again when unknowingly. That's make I want't to run it .After feedback from users. I hope you may find a way to help your users. Thx for you read

I have recently switched from ES file explorer on my old phone to thks app on a new phone. Similarly to the ES app, this app has nice tools. Especially, I appreciate convenient access to remote drives. However, ads are really annoying. One even cannot immediately close ads and has to wait for a few seconds.

Amazing app but there are chances where you will lose photos after renaming it in a certain folder

I'll stay reserved on 4 or 5 stars yet, as app description mentions it ors NFS, and however there is no option for it under Network or Lan. Tell me how to connect to an NFS server and you'll get the two remaining stars. NFS:// doesn't work

Everything is good except otg file not showing. This is the only problem i have faced. Please consider this problem. I like the file manager.

This app is really useful but the ads are just too much. At least provide a way to mute the sound on the ads. There are times when obnoxious music blasting out of your phone is unwelcome and rude. I'd consider paying for premium if the pricing wasn't so rediculous.

Can not share more than 100 files at a time. My native file sharing app can.

Unskippable ads take over far too much and the LAN folders need to be constantly reconnected & refreshed because the display prepends the folder name to file names and causes file copy errors. This app has declined so much in past year I'm looking for a replacement now

This is the most reliable and honest app I've ever seen yho I'm not just impressed with what it can do but how it does it I'm over the moon I'm flipping ecstatic keep up the good work guys

I wish i had more options and to be able to make it the default storage browser so any videos or pictures i hide in the RS app will also hide it in every other app. Cuz my normal galleries app will negate the hide effect and just show it. But i see that its updated so I'm gonna go and check it out. Its a great app for what it does without paying for premium. But i just dont make it a habit to go buying premium-anything on phone apps tho i do recommend anyone who enjoys it to support the creators

An actually working SMB client? Ive gone thru a bunch of smb client apps on the play store. All i needed was one client that was compatible with my old android 4.4 device. Thank you for existing, RSFile. You are literally the only 4.4 compatible client that works

Issues with FTP connecting but randomly not listing files and folders seems to be related to Adblock apps interfering with ports beside FTP port 21. Excluding RS File Explorer in adblockers solves this issue, so this app is ok.

Great app works exactly I would like it to Edit: The most recent update has made accessing LAN servers a very tedious task. Please go back to the way it was or at least make it so I don't have to put in a username and password everytime I access a new folder on a server that I have just accessed, especially if it the server doesn't require one.

Apps are annoying and the cost of the premium version only to remove ads does not make sense. This costed a star. Otherwise it's great. It supports NAS and has a convenient "top bar" that allow you to switch between different window. Very convenient to organize many files! Only missing feature: There is no confirmation that the file transfer completed successfully (window only close upon completion - not convenient for large transfer as when I transfer all photos from my phone to the network).

In case of music and video, there should be a option of folder view, not all files in one place. That is like album view in photos.

Much thought and work has clearly gone into this. I just want a local FM for my phone, so I wouldn't need the "premium" version (tho it's odd that "Search accurately for files" is extra—does it search inaccurately otherwise? 😁). And as with most "sponsored" apps, if you stay offline when you run it, you don't get slammed by ads. But I found the GUI oddly dated and bland. (Eg., "CDs" for music files?) I think the devs need to study more design examples… It can be done so much better.
