RT News (Russia Today)

Frankly, I'm surprised this is still in the app store. I depend on this app as an additional info tool to compare to other resources. One piece of the 🧩 in the repertoire of open-minded free-thinking individuals. Needs to be preserved in the app store but I'm sure the Playstore will cave at some point to the demands of liberal governments. Time will tell, but we all see the writing on the wall.

App is simple and straightforward. Works well. Especially valuable nowadays as western MSM has hit all-time lows and become a pitiful joke. RT might not always be perfectly impartial, but it fares much better in that regard than western MSM (which isn't saying much as of late!). Hearing "the other side of the story" is needed now more than ever.

Honestly pretty good. If your like me and like to get both sides view on events and form your own opinion RT news is honestly a realy credible source of information to get a different perspective. It's like vice but less trendy garbage and more factual. The layout could be a bit better and a darkmode for it as well as access to the shop within the app would be nice but it's still way better then most out there which is why I'm rating 4/5 though I would rate it 4.5/5 if I could

I have not experienced news like I've experienced it with RT. The issue I have is that I don't get notification for news until I go into the app and refresh. But all the same it's great. From Nigeria

So thankful for this app. Now I can watch RT News and there's NOTHING that the authoritarians can do to stop it. I would like to see a CAST TO TV feature added to app so I can watch on the big screen.

Live video keeps refreshing and loading every 5 seconds. Not able to watch live news or documentaries because of this. Not an internet issue because it works fine with others apps.

Great Unfiltered News App, but we need live feed to be full screen, able to go landscape and things likr that, at least fullscreen at the best

So poorly written. Terrible grammar. For an international news source, the grasp of English is awful. Not sure if that's on the authors or translators, but it's a real pain to read. In addition, it fails to use even the most basic journalism principles. I read it to get another perspective, and it reads like a room full of Putin's lapdogs under threat of execution by the NKVD. Which is probably exactly what is going on here.

Working fine for New Zealand users. If it fails, try the stream on the website or the numerous other apps that they're on.

I am very grateful that RT exists in the modern age of propaganda that is mass media. While RT is most definitely biased (who isn't?), I genuinely appreciate reading news articles that are not overwhelming with emotional appeal so prevalent in Western media. Go RT, we don't hate you any more than we do CNN and Fox :)

Great source for news. I stopped watching ALL U.S. mainstream news expect my local news. Roku took it off so I watch with my laptop and phone now. This along with other news, I finally get good news.

RT, kindly include all the videos in your app that you have uploaded in YouTube. I mean all, crosstalk, Going Underground, etc. Also let us know which streaming sites you'll be choosing next to host your news. NOTE: please choose a non-western one.

Apporling what's happened to this news network. You've been blocked on YouTube can't connect with app and can only read the headlines in the app. Having to use tor just to watch live. Fingers crossed and hope the ban is lifted soon. #supportRT

I love being able to have a broader spectrum of perspectives then just what is allowed in my country which is mostly lies and propaganda based. And I never see ads

Great and accurate news not like the west media or other media. Basically most other big news agencies just say what their governments want to say. Keep up the good work.

I don't what people are complaining about. There is still world news which includes UK news and sports news. And it works fine, i got it to see what the fuss is about. The world news section is good and varied.

I like RT News because they offer a balanced media view, covering both sides of any issues and conflicts. Western media would do well to do the same, but they won't because they're controlled by 'The Families'!! 🤔

It's pretty bizarre, but I trust RT more than I trust the complete, unmitigated bull___ currently circulating around the EU/US media toilet bowl. I can't get coverage on some incredibly vital stories in US and EU media that's not outright lies.

Always unbiased reports. Now that it's blocked by the USA and Canada heh I won't have any news source I can truly trust. Heartbreaking but the truth is never something most want to.hear, it makes them look bad. Thank you for the good reports RT, til we meet again.

Unreal how youtube just straight up banned your channels. So much for freedom of the press in america. Downloaded the app so I can stay up-to-date on real unbiased American news!

I support the people of Ukraine against the unjustified invasion of their country by the Russian Army but I need to read something else than the basic propaganda of the Western mass media. RT is probably the best way to counterbalance the information we receive and have a good idea of what is actually happening. Plus, frankly, I find their propaganda much more sutile.
