I'm thrilled with this app! I don't know why I didn't have this a long time ago. I don't know how many times I've needed to measure something out of the blue & couldn't find my ruler 🤷♀️ I really like that each measurement is saved automatically, with the ability to label them. It's very handy 🙂 Thank you!
Horrible app. I went to adjust the ruler calibrate to accurate size. It said I could use a credit card. I clicked done , it didn't even save the calibration in the least. It just kept saying the length was 12 inches. I wish my phone was that long. What utter lies. WORST APP EVER. The developers should be ashamed of themselves.
Utterly pointless! I wanted to replicate the function of a tapemeasure , however this app doesn't measure longer than 12cm/ 5inches and if you know your screen size, you can use that to obtain a measurement .I imagined the app would lock on a starting point and measure along the complete length of something, adding the increments as it scrolled along.
This is complete garbage. All it is is a physical ruler shown on the screen. It comes with asvertiments, if you want no advertisements you must pay $1.99 and if you want added themes and no ds it's $5.99. This is total trash don't waste your time, there are much better apps available.
The calibration tool could be improved. They give you the option to calibrate with a real ruler and the space of 3 centimeters witch would be more precise if you have more space to calibrate. 10 cm would be ideal.
As a math teacher, I sometimes find myself wanting to get marking done but don't have a ruler. I had hoped that this would use the camera for comparison, but in some ways this is better. The ruler can only get to the edge of the phone, so it is more a limit of the phone than the app.
Does what it says it does, good looking, easy to use. Free version is annoying, the ads are placed in an area where I would accidentally click on the ad while trying to use this app.
The first time I opened the app I got a string of ads including one asking for a username and password for credit karma. I don't know if it's a scam or just greedy and badly written but I deleted it less than a minute after I installed it.
Checked measurements with a real tape measure and the comparison was perfect. I was skeptical because I have the galaxy s10 plus and I thought the measurements would be off because of the larger screen but it adapted perfectly
Garbage. Total garbage. Before you can even use it the trash ads start then they want you to pay to stop the ads - when you haven't even used the app yet.
Great app, it really measures up to my expectations! It is precise without having to calibrate. I'm not seeing any ads in my app, and I'm not using any sort of ad blocker.
I needed to measure something on my guitar and I didn't have anything readily handy. So I thought why not look at my smart phone and I found this app that was quite useful. I haven't even begun to discover all of its feature sets and innovations. For what I needed it to do, it got 'er done.
Great concept ideal app with realistic applications in the field! Any further updates to accompany and embellish this app ((a laser pointer perhaps??)) will get it to a 5 star level quickly!! Be Safe everyone!! KillerKorps
Simply did not work as advertised and did not match the physical measurements with which it was compared to. Maybe I was using it wrong but if that's the case then the problem lies with ease of accessibility for the common consumer
A simple app that lets you use your phone as a ruler. Very precise without doing any calibration. Simple interface. Nicely done.
Was nice and handy when you don't want to guess a measurement but no ruler handy. I like that it can be switched from cm to inch etc.
Excellent quick and handy ruler for when an actual ruler is not to hand. Be sure to calibrate though as default scaling may not be quite correct for your screen.
Didn't measure distance like it should. Instead, it showed me a ruler on my phone. If that's all it does, I could simply use a physical ruler. I thought I'd be able to measure distance like the Measure app on the iPad.
Handy when at Home Depot or Lowes Home Improvement. A bolt was listed as 2 inches, but the ruler showed it was 1.75 inches. Thanks!
Very cool app. Love the accuracy and I bet it's better to have this app installed than having to look for a ruler. I installed this app because I dont have a ruler of my own. Whoever made this app is a genius in my mind.😁😁😁
I could understand the need of ads for a free app, the developer has to make some money out of it. But this one won't let me close it without watching ads??? No, thanks.
Exactly what it says it is. Good for when I forgot my measuring tape, the effectiveness can depend on if your phone has a straight edge.
Surprisingly accurate, refreshingly convenient! I don't always have my Starrett pocket rule, so this is great for measuring the length of small bolts and such. Not a micrometer, but accurate enough.
Could use a little better ease of use in swapping between one type of measurement and another, such as inches to millimeters. Otherwise, a great app.
It's very nice and useful in case when you are not with your tape measurements works offline and no adds. Very easy to operate.
I hope Play has a reply to comment feature because all I wanted to do was to ask the people who left a critical review because "the inches are too short" if they are aware of the existance of a little-used unit called "centimeters/centimetres". Granted, the metric system is only used by all of the world's countries other than the US, Liberia, and Burma, but they should have heard of it sometime somewhere, right???
It is accurate. I compared with a ruler. Also has option to fix accuracy of it wasn't. Very nice.
Honestly super helpful app. I use it way more than you would think. It's so convenient to have an accurate source of measurement in the palm of my hands
I have downloaded the App to measure a photograph size but the app didn't give me the right size, to double check on my side. I brought a ruler from Walmart and the size was different to what was shown in the app.
It's always out a little. They should really have you calibrate it with a larger increment so the accuracy is better. The larger the increment the less significant things like small perspective errors and rule widths are. That said, it can be useful if you don't need it to be perfect and just need a rough estimate.
