SAO Launcher
Drag down from the top left corner of your screen and orbs will fall into place, giving you quick access to various features of your phone. Call and text friends, launch your favorite apps via shortcuts, control music, and more using the various orbs.
SAO is built to be extendable. There are many free and paid themes and extensions available in the Store. Themes update the images, sounds, and fonts used in the app creating a completely different experience. Extensions, on the other hand, are additional orbs that appear when downloading other apps. SMS, for example, is a free extension for phones.
Both themes and extensions have an API for those who want to truly customize the experience. Q: What does buying Pro do?A: Buying Pro will get you... No ads, multiple swipe boxes, custom avatar, weather, directions on the map. It does not give you any of the extensions.
Q: Can I help translate the app to my language?A: Sure! You can now help out with translating using Localize ( https://www.localize.im/v/dq ).

Q: How do I use themes?A: Install the theme, then go into Options, Themes. You should see it as a choice aside Default.
Q: My extensions aren't working (or... anything isn't working).A: Try rebooting. If it still doesn't work, feel free to send us an email ( [email protected] ) or report it in the community.
Q: Why can't I uninstall the app?A: It's probably set as a Device Administrator (an old feature from Log Out). Go into Settings, Security, Device Administrators, and uncheck SAO Launcher.
Q: Why is log out missing?A: Log out required Device Administrator, which made it difficult to uninstall the app.
Q: How do I get sms to pop up?A: Install the SMS extension

Q: Why is there a delay launching the app after pressing the Home button?A: Android introduces a 5sec delay for all services after the Home button is pressed. There is no way to get around this.
Q: Why can't I click under the swipe area?A: It's an anti-keylogging feature of Android's. There is no way to get around this.
Q: Why do I still see my old SMS notifications after installing the extension?A: I can't touch another app's notifications. Luckily, the default SMS app lets you disable notifications in settings.
Q: Why can't I hear any sound?A: There are different streams (System, Notification, Media). Some phones disable System, the stream usually reserved for button clicks. If you have one of those phones, you'll have to change the stream in Options.
Q: This isn't a launcher! Why claim it is?A: It is... Sort of. It launches apps. It is not meant to replace your default launcher, though.

Great app overall, kinda like the edge for the s7. A little annoying sometimes, but you can put the swipe anywhere which is convenient. The only problem I have is that the music thing doesn't work with google play music, it will just keep crashing which is infuriating when you are halfway through a song and forget that it doesn't work. It works with spotify though, so I guess half-marks?
The app works well enough as an organizer for my apps, but the map doesn't give directions and the player orb doesn't show the proper weather. Along with the sms feature being deactivated and the developers not answering emails it adds to a bad customer experience. When I bought pro on my old phone it worked fine. It kept a star since I enjoy it's assistance with organizing apps. Until these problems are fixed I'd suggest not spending money on it though.
I reinstalled this app after years and still love it. I would like to see a fix where after putting your phone to sleep/locking it the app has to be relaunched. I think making a setting to toggle that option would probably be the best incase some people like it the way it is. This app is definitely worth a 5 star review and i will 100% change my rating if i see this feature added. Also the launcher doesnt bring up my phone's call feature, it just closes the menu and nothing happens.
After uninstalling, the area that the app used for swiping down would not react to my touches anymore; tapping anything in the area would not register. I hope there is a fix for this, as that area is where most "back" buttons for many apps are situated. Very inconvinient to use the navigation bar's back button every time. Otherwise app is ok. Edit: Found a fix, download the app and delete several times it eventually goes back to normal.
I love this app, a nice touch on the pay to get certain things, maybe a little bit cheaper, and i have one thing, when you have the unit converter on, some of it goes off screen so i cant see the rest of it, i dont have the rest of the vip things installed but i believe that there might be a problem with those too.Also, when i "activate" this, it doesnt let the app im on run. Like if im on clash royale, it freezes the game, but when i deactivate it, it unfreezes it. Also sub to pewdiepie.
Really cool and quick sorting system and still can open it without have to switch the screen, but i'd like its auto open at the beginning of the turn-on phone interfaces rather than just manually open the app to activate. Moreover, it'd be better if you could fix some bugs like swipe lag issues and the launcher auto closes when there's an incoming calls when you trying to use an app in the launcher. Hopely this would be fix asap
im changing my revew from a three to a four because the player icon was finaly fixed. its great, and a fun app. i also cleans up your screen a lot. the only things holding it back is the loss of using the call function, and some times after a period of in activity, the swipe spot doesnt work %100. but both of those are small things. would recommend.
Well,the slide down feature doesn't work as expected,but otherwise it's a nice app that complements a rooted phone. Also,the app holes do not have an option to change the apps if the apps get repeated.This is problematic and causes distress on the user's free mind and thoughts(or maybe intentional but seems like a bug)
overall a great app, the unit conversion extension is a bit hard to use considering we cant get to all the buttons, since its on the bottom of the screen, as well as the calling feature not working properly. like doesnt work at all, fixed those 2 things and thats 5 stars
using a RedMi Note 7 Pro. The app constantly isn't responding and won't open. I used to have a older Chinese phone and it worked perfectly. I apready tried turning on all of the permissions and whatnot. I really want to like this app, but can't if it won't open.
Great app except after having redownloaded it after getting a new phone.... realized there isn't the messaging orb anymore. Is this a glitch or on purpose? I've already spent the money for the extensions and such so I would appreciate if there was some fixing up done on the app so I can actually use this in full force. Please help, devs! I also could not figure out why the app would not play my music... Tutorial or something needed, please! Would definitely change to a 5 star rating afterwards!
I love this app. I used for a long time but since i moved to my current phone (Xiaomi mi max) i can't use the phone extension, it just closes the launcher, the message extension that was on the older version is nowhere to be found and also i cant open the player profile, it just closes the launcher like the phone extension. Pls fix this bcz it's just sad to not be able to to use it because of such reasons
The simplest and most compact, yet most convenient and intuitive launcher you'll find. This an unbelievably useful tool to have, and it's always waiting just of the side of the screen to be summoned when needed. Best yet, it's relatively trivial to program your own modules to suit your needs (provided you could write a simple script or function in Unix, but if you can use Tasker ® effectively you can figure this out). The developer outdid himself on this nifty piece of virtual gadgetry.
I've had this app for awhile and on two different phones. I've never personally come across any bugs and I really appreciate the developer(s) doing their best always. They've managed to create a really cool app that brings a piece of the SAO world to your phone. You may not use it all the time, but it's worth getting simply because of how neat it is.
Update: Pro: Unit converter is fixed, so thanks for that Con: Can no longer use player orb. Cannot be checked in order and visibility. Serious issue for me, that is 99% of the reason I use this app. Please rollback or fix ASAP. Update: Player was fixed in a few days. Thank you, great work.
Love the concept, however most of the buttons dont work. For example, if i try to use the launcher to call a friend, i tap the button and nothing happens. If they fix bugs and issues like this id rate 5 stars for sure.
I really like this app alot but it has an issue where if you have your phone "sleeping" for a bit you have to reopen the UI. It would also be amazing if call and text were brought back! Once fixed I'll bump the rating back to 5!
Best 5 bucks I've ever spent, this app makes it fun to navigate my phone and organize everything so much better. I dont even need to look for the primary apps I use anymore. they are all right there in the player icon. I love how u can launch it as if you were in Aincrad by swiping down. it's just really fun and worth the download guys.
The concept seemed useful and different but only if it would work. Unfortunately, the shortcut will not stay on the screens and stops responding constantly. I reached out to the developer and haven't received a response. I would recommend not wasting your money.
developer i cant open the launcher when i swipe it down and i try to change the position of the swipe indicator but! nothing happened! it always happen when i turned off my phone or i didnt use the launcher for a long time so whats the purpose of the launcher? i thought that it could be of some kind of help to me so that i can easily navigate my device but its the opposite well! ihope you fix that and i will give you a 5 star😎
Overall, the app is fun to use. I just have one issue. Since the latest update, I've lost access to my avatar; I can still change the image and even my player name, but I can't see them. I read that Pro is needed to have that, but I can't seem to find the option to get that... how do I go about getting Pro?
Im very sad when i install this again. The older version is perfect until this update, they remove the SMS feature which is one of the most important, and the Map didnt really working well its show you blank image. But im still hoping for the best in future
Was working great but after the update, the sound for notifications being received stopped playing and after that I couldn't send any texts and had to go back to the normal default text app, I did enjoy it from the previous versions.
Everything is working just fine it's amazing except for two things unable to make calls and messages from Sao contacts or do you have to pay for the upgrade to get this because the Sao sistem said upgrade for maps and etc... But still better than the old ver and better and much more fun in everway
Functionally, the app is fine. Needs some tweaks but hey, what app doesn't? No, my problem has nothing to do with how the app handles- it's how it refuses to leave my device. I've been trying, in vain, to remove it for months. I've even fully reset my phone TWICE. But no, this thing is as persistent as a telemarketer. It cleverly asks for admin rights over your phone, but when you go to remove those, it crashes the settings page so you can't. Only option is to get a new phone, apparently.
