Satellite AR

It doesn't work well for me. It loads but I can't tap on a satellite to get the info menu or orbit view or anything else. Tells me to go to menu to calibrate compass but i can't access the menu. Even when I do the shake thing it is still a horribly shaky screen. I like the idea of being able to point and identify something i see passing overhead but this program doesnt work well enough to make it worth using. Deleted from my phone.

Try again. Rolling back is fine but it still needs testing before deploying. The list of items is tiny and unreadable on multiple devices even on 7" screens: This kind of build and deploy error is totally inexcusable. #TestingIsNotHard The last version was a bit heavy, but it had a better UI. The previous (now current) version is clunky and unusable. If there is no desire, time or money to provide a decent, usable app, withdraw it to save yourselves and users the misery.

Back in the day when I had a Samsung Galaxy Y, it worked flawlessly. I used to share this app with all of my friends who were interested in satellite hunting. Times changed, the app got updated. New problems surfaced. After reaching the overlay screen, it never stopped loading. Uninstalled. And years later I'm trying the app thinking things might have changed. Nope. Now even if I give the necessary permissions, it still asks for permissions. Please fix this.

This app used to be great. The new interface is not my favorite but that can be overlooked as that's a matter of taste. However simply not working is not acceptable. It does not find DirecTV satellites anymore and that was my only use for it. Until this functionality is restored it will remain with one star (it would be zero if possible).

App used to be great. Unfortunately, while the updated UI is... pretty, it's also a memory hog, bloated, filled with unnecessary BS, and lacking useful information. How about telling us info about the next overhead pass? Inclination, where it'll appear, how long it'll be visible for? Nope, you get a buggy, bloated, "pretty" UI instead. Goodbye.

I used to love the way this app was laid out before and how it looked when loading the satellites with the names flashing up like a boot loading sequence, that was untill the latest update, now I'm considering getting rid of it because it just doesn't look and feel the same and the colours just don't do it for me.. it looked almost tactical before now looks like a kids toy.. The previous was far better..

This used to be THE go to program for pointing my portable satellite. Since the last update with all the fancy graphics its pretty dog gone useless. Slow to load. Slow to point. Drops selected satellites all the time. Very sad because there is no usable replacement for it.

Please shake gently while I uninstall this useless junk. Used SatelliteAR for years as an aid in finding line of sight for DTV installation, and showing customers issues in obtaining their signal. Now it takes too much effort to try to get the app to work properly. Not going to waste time with it any more.

Application seems stable and has an excellent satellite catalog. Unfortunately the data seems quite out of date, but only if accessed certain ways, until the app can agree with itself I won't trust it's information.

It was a 4 or 5 star app until the update. The layout was completely changed and now you can't just hit the back button to close the app. Bring back the ability to close the app using the back button and I'll rate it back up to a 4 star.

Used to be great, now it seems to be completely broken. Doesn't even come up with an interface of any kind. Completely useless, which is disappointing as it used to be the best satellite finding app on Android.

This app use to work great for me installing DirecTV... it would allow me to see line of sight issues. Now I can't use it anymore due to the camera preview is selected and it shows a black screen with the satellites.

What the heck bruh?! What did you guys do to the App? How can you seriously release somet that doesn't even work for so many people?! Old version was brilliant, fast and clear, easy to use. I don't mind changing the UI if you need to but, come on....at least make sure it works! And then to do nothing about it for over a year!! Please release the old version under a different name so we can still use it.

App worked great before the update. Now it is painfully slow and inaccurate. The old version was simple and to the point and worked great, I guess I'm back to using an compas/inclinometer.

The latest update (Feb 19) is requesting intrusive access to data that has nothing to do with the app's function - calendar, contacts, media, device ID, microphone !, call data and "other". Why?

App worked fine at first but after not using it for a while, I opened it up to find I can no longer tap on a satellite to find out more. Plus the font size is so very small. :(

The app used to be great and ran quick. the new update is slow and its more frustrating than ever to use. I used it all the time before but its easier for me to use a compass!!

Apparently requires cell service. When used on a device without service but connected to wifi it consistently says to connect to a network. Manual position setting caused an exception error. Only loads one satellite.

Have used this app for years and loved it, but I just received the latest update and discovered that the app now has access to my contacts that I did not give permission for, so I will have to remove the app from my device. There is no legitimate reason for this app to ask for access to your contacts, as this is not a communication app.

Man ive no clue how you guys managed to break such a great app. Actual skywatchers used this for a very long time due to its precision and functionality. Now....aesthetics came before function and it no longer works. Seriously guys, every reviewer here is saying the same thing, we loved your app because it was highly detailed in its FUNCTION. Thats what we care about. Looks cool now but id take the old version back in a heartbeat, because it loaded sats quick.You guys know they dont hang around

I don't like giving one start but for this one I have to. this app used to be great now you can be longer use it. server is always down on DirecTV satellites. what's the point of upgrading something and make it unusable? Gosh!

Used this for many years. It no longer works. Sticks at loading satellites. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still did not work. From a 5 to a 1 and an uninstall. Sad.

Same as other users, now not working. Connected to fiber internet and just shows offline mode. I live away from light pollution and use this app almost nightly. Please fix!!

After this recent update, the App no longer works on my HTC One. The screen gets blacked out and nothing pops up or works. It also locks my phone. Could you get it back working, please?
