How does it work ?Just enable the GPS in your phone or enter your GPS location, select the desired TV satellite and point your phone to the sky to target (find) the TV satellite. You have found the satellite when the white ball is in the white circle and the cyan ball is in the cyan circle. Align, in azimuth, the offset arm of the satellite dish to the cyan arrow on the phones display and the satellite dish is aligned in azimuth with the satellite.Selectable audio tone, camera preview, continuous mode (no pause), color pickers or a user defined satellite position may make it easier for you to find the desired TV satellite. The satellite list contains 280 satellites.Optional you can take a photo (resized)/screenshot by touching on the director tab. The photo/screenshot is ONLY stored on the phones memory card.Optional: you can get an indication when you are to close to iron (dish/pole) in the form of an green/yellow/red bar.
Satellite positions are derived from Agi's database. Some positions may seem not accurate (example: Hispasat 30°w is at 29.96°w in the satellite list) but they are very accurate.
New phones with Android 4: in case of a wrong compass reading the "Settings" screen has options to correct the compass readings !!!!

good app but i don't understand the point of forcing camera permission i just want to set the antenna i don't need a camera

Works good, I have changed my Dish setting TATA sky to DD free dish. It's worked fine. . most of them confused about holding the phone & recever LNB stick .. this app cleared the issue with help of camera..! Nice
I've used this app for several years. Recently, a change requires access to my photos and videos or the app won't function. WHY do you need my photos and videos???????
Joke of an app. As a test, checked accuracy of app with known Satellite position and dish angle already locked in. Instead of setting angle at 34 degrees in SE sky, this app had me setting my dish at 62 degree angle in the Western sky. DON'T rely on this app to point dish. Buy a compass and follow settings that came with dish manual, you'll be better off.
No signal was coming to the TV due to my Airtel dish antenna moving. Was upset for two days no dish-setter was being found. A mechanic was also found, he was only asking for the fee of 250 rupees to come home. And any expenses will have to be paid separately. Then I suddenly came across an app satellite director on YouTube, I downloaded it from the Play Store to my Android mobile. With this, my dish set very easily. All the housemates are very happy and thank the creator of this app.
Very useful application, I'm searching for one sat, if I get it I'll give the 5 🌟.. I like that it gives you the direction in 360° , so I get the exact level and direction of the dish..
Does not work anymore. Have used it with good results in the past but now shows Astra 2G due south rather than 28.2. Samsung S7 gps settings cleared and calibrated several times.
I used this app for tuning my TATA sky, Indian satellite TV provider.Typically I would have been charged INR 500 but I saved that all doing the positioning of the dish antenna to G-Sat-10. I never thought it was possible to do it at home .Many thanks to the developer :)

1. check your altitude, longitude and latitude with the help of an app. 2. check the satellite used by your cable provider on google. 3. feed these values in the app 4. use director to allign your dish. perfect app. thankyou developer
Its very accurate and great app Is there no option to upload image otherwise i will upload image that my dish tv signal is set by me with satellite director i salute to developer.
On top of my roof turning the disc no luck, suddenly remember my phone in my pocket, install the apps adjust the disc, suddenly hear the tv sound down stairs, Walla done, I am alone, thxs save my day
The app used to be excellent , I don't know now it is not working in MI note 8 pro. GPS ok , compass not working . Tried to calibrate but ball not moving.

You just can locate the direction left and right. What about up and down? How to locate the satellite's position up and down???
Worst app....it clam to get signal but it didn't work at all. I tried this app twice but both of time but it can't met my expectations.

app is good, some information section should be there for various dish and their satellite names eg. DISHTV uses satellite nss6 this will make easy to use info abt Lnb setting will also be helpful if provided
I use the app few months ago align was correct result,but current time different alignment not the correct position so improving the app please
Why do you need permission for pictures and video? Would try another app which does not ask for unnecessary permissions.
