SatFinder Lite - TV Satellites
SatFinder is a tool for finding TV satellites and aligning satellite dishes. Use your Augmented Reality Camera view to see and target satellites in the sky. It can be used anywhere in the world since all major TV satellites are in the database.
*New feature: Ability to manually enter Location latitude and longitude details in case Location cannot be automatically determined in case of "no connectivity"
SatFinder uses your phone sensors to detect your physical location and calculates azimuth and elevation needed for your satellite antenna to face. Since the satellite position calculation depends on the accuracy of your device sensors, your device should be calibrated by shaking and moving it in a figure 8 fashion, once SatFinder has been started. Augmented Reality View:
- Use your camera for Augmented Reality View which paints the satellite icons in places where they're positioned in the sky. It gives a realistic view to the sky and it helps to make sure there is a line of sight (LOS), i.e. no obstacles, such as tree branches or house tops, between the satellite dish and the satellite itself.
- Touch screen to take a screenshot of Augmented Reality view
- Pinch to zoom satellites in and out. Double tap to reset.
Target Satellite View (in full version only):
- Use Target Satellite View to find or to "lock onto" a particular satellite. Direction arrows simply guide you to the desired satellite position.

perfecto to me, i just need to find the satellite and that's it. the option to have picture is excellent!!!!
after calibrating the phone tilting it left or right makes the satellite rotate in its orbit.
App was slow to find the arc, and it wandered. I need a positive lock..
We use when camping with our Dish Wally. Now I went from an iPhone 6 to a Pixel 5. Glad this same app is available.

General direction but gets you in the ballpark for old app but now it is totally useless - completely off, slow response, nowhere near.

It not accurate. There are better accurate apps for this purpose.
Download a bunch of free apps to setup my G2+ satellite in a very wooded area. I finally found f2f his one. Worked great. Just choose the satellites that work for your receiver. Hold your phone to the sky and see where satellites are. Make sure you have a clear view to satellite. No tree limbs or other obstacles in the way.
Missing DirecTv satellites 99 and 103. If they fix this i will give 5 stares and buy the full version.
You can add satellites. 99 and 103 are available. I'm a DIRECTV tech and this is the best sat app I've found so far.
Features and preferences are not the same as in pro version 3.1.3v. This one need better updates pls.

App is helpful for Samsung users, I use it for my satellite business everyday and always tell people to get it. Works in and out of phone service. My brother got a newer LG and it don't work for him at all, don't understand it, but I've always used samsung and it works.
This app was great on my iPhone, really quick and fairly accurate. I switched to galaxy note 9 and this android version is super laggy. the arc takes up to 2 seconds to respond to movement. still okay for getting a general idea of line of sight I guess
