- We take your privacy seriously, so it is important to understand why we ask for certain permissions. Most of the permissions you see are to deliver QR Code content to your device like contact details or dialing a phone call if you choose to.
"INTERNET": The app connects to the Internet to show content after you scan a barcode.
"ACCESS WIFI STATE and ACCESS NETWORK_STATE":The app verifies if a network connection is available in order to connect to the Internet.
"CAMERA":The app uses the camera to scan barcodes.
"ACCESS FINE LOCATION": Location is used to give you more relevant information like local prices when available. You will be prompted before Location data is used.
"GET ACCOUNTS"This is used to send periodic push notifications for deals and offers. You can disable this from the app settings under Notifications.

The app does not read barcodes. I tested this on multiple items, a can of diet Pepsi, a tent, a box of hot pockets, and a box of granola bars and all I got was a product not found message. When I looked up the Pepsi UPC, it did not read the barcode correctly at all. I verified it with a different barcode app. You can look stuff up manually, but I have a 1 star review because the main feature to this app, the barcode, was not functioning at the time of this review. worked great when first installed over a year ago. would find everything I scanned. something must have happened in an update or something because now it doesn't find anything. even products I've scanned before. Uninstalled but may install again and see if that helps. Suggest developer go back a few updates and figure out what happened.
Downloaded app after I saw it on a news segment but am deleting it now. I tested it immediately and it couldn't find nothing i scanned. Swiffer products. Rice-a-Roni. Sun butter. Can of soup. Basic products. Unbelievable!
Went from great to garbage. This was on my old LG Optimus Pro about 4 years ago. I loved it and used frequently. But now it couldn't find a barcode, any product, and totally fails on QR Codes.
this app doesnt recognize anything that I scanned. I scanned over 100 items, including household, name brand, common items that are found everywhere. this app is useless.
It was working fine until the last update. Now just keeps loading and doesnt scan the codes.
74% of my battery is drained from this app that doesn't work anymore and isn't supposed to be running. Uninstalled.
Literally never found an item. I went through 10 of my top shopped for items and it always said "item not found". I deleted it.
I can't scan a QR code that has been saved to my Gallery. You need to take a picture of the code in the app. I don't need to put up with this. Find another app if you value your time.
"Product not found" Tried scanning one food item and one non food item. Didn't work. Uninstalling.
great app lets you find a price for a item i the store when no one could be found that,works there.
Scanned 3 items, could not find one of the three. I got better things to do than waste my time with this app. 😡👎

Another worthless scanner. I scanned 3 products and not one returned any information.
I just installed this app and scanned 6 items it found none of them. Unistalling.
Consumes power in background. No need for it to do anything when not explicitly active.
3- times i try'd to use, no results! However QR gave me results each time on same product!
It's frustrating that this app will only scan about half the time!
I like this scanner. It does bar and QR scans.
if I could rate no stars I would it was supported by nerdy nummies cookbook once trying to scan the codes they dont work
The result scan of this application describes detail (with name of product) so this application helps us to check the original of products especially medicine / vitamins, skincare etc which in pandemic., we often buy products via online
