I have downgraded my rating for this app. They keep having fewer and fewer local businesses, keep trying to push the chain restaurants on me. I don't eat McDonald's... the stuff is garbage. Fewer and fewer local restaurants want anything to do with your app, possibly because of all the hassle and fees you charge them. I am not far from uninstalling this app and just giving up on it. The trouble is that none of the other delivery apps are any good either... It's becoming a frustrating situation
I'm a frequent user of this app. I have it on two devices. It works great on one. The latest, not so much. It often crashes after I've placed the order, not giving me delivery information and worse it won't let me back in until after the delivery. So if I want to order something else from another store I can't do it. Very annoying.
My first order and they gave the food to the wrong person and then refused to make another order. Oh, but they credited 10 dollars to my account. This is the level of service we've come to with food apps, folks!
still an incredibly high fee even if you have a membership... Edited: And they love to take your money even if the restaurants are closed. Seamless charges around 15% more per food item on the app. If you ever compare the so side by side to the regular menu prices from the restaurants menu, seamless definitely charges more.
Very reliable service. Its weird how it's powered by GrubHub but it's the better option of the two for delivery lol. Also they're pretty quick and efficient in fixing any issues that arise.
Seamless sends at least 1 ad a day as a notification. They deliberately don't use notification channels either, so you can't turn these useless notifications off without missing order delivery updates. This is so disrespectful and invasive to users.
I'm officially done with this app. I'm paying a delivery fee, plus tip just for drivers to do whatever they want. You ask for the food to go on the door, because it can they put it on the floor. You ask them to call because a pizza box shouldn't be on the floor and they leave it on the floor. I'm over it. Since they don't want to see people they should not be delivering anything. Either way since I can not fix it and done.
There's always an issue with my order, whether it be the fault of the delivery guy or the restaurant and now they don't do anything to resolve the problem because "too many refunds" have been provided. how about tightening up the service and stop having "too many issues" with my orders.
I keep getting an error message that says "something went wrong unknown error". What am I supposed to do with that? [Removing and then re-adding all of the items fixed the issue]
Glitches out a lot. Switch apps? It might clear your order. Use amex? It randomly won't work. Look at it wrong? It might give an "unexpected error" message when you try to edit or place your order.
Total scam, customer service is a joke. My papal is being charged and yet they don't know why. I can't access my acct to reset my password and they wouldn't help. Their link online and on the app isn't sending me the email. Essentially they said tough. F them man
I only use this for the monthly credit with my amex. same as Uber eats, both charge the restaurant a huge fee. just order direct through the restaurant instead of this parasite if you're paying with real money.
Lol. It's the 2nd time they kept delaying orders even past the restaurant close time. Don't bother, they don't have drivers in the NYC area and don't bother to check on your order until you complain.
Garbage drivers who just mark orders as delivered without actually delivering and end up removing the option to contact them directly. How about letting the customer mark food as delivered when they actually get it.
The UI jumping around on the main feed is so horrible. I hate using this app so much. Use mobile web instead. I don't know why they refuse to fix it
Seamless cost another restaurant business because they charged a delivery fee and a service fee. Then add a tip and 2 burger deluxes would cost $52.00..ridiculous!
This is BS. I'm trying to get lunch and use the $15 credit for today, and now the entire app is not working. The offer expires at 2pm. Fix your god damn app!!
First time promo code doesn't work. They did NOT let me use the new user discount coupon because apparently I "used" their app before. I did not.... Then I thought, "Forget it, just order without the discount! Who would have thought what happened next? My first order got automatically cancelled because their third party POS failed to receive the order. Tried again on my friend's phone They didn't even accept my Credit Card this time. 10/10 will use this marvelous app again!
$14 at the restaurant, $28 on the app, after all the extra charges. works fine if you don't mind the 100% markup.
I signed up for their membership because I thought that they would be able to provide me a good service well after the very first time I signed up by the web and I placed the order by web I received that order but after that I constantly kept getting messages that there's no driver available or there's no place to deliver from my area. I canceled my membership or so I thought yet they keep charging me for it so I called them on the phone today and canceled my m-ship but they kept the money.
the 15% service fee on top of tax and tip is kind of outrageous. I'm considering not using it anymore and going more local.
Not a great UI. Searching is well nigh useless. Navigating the menu use a pain on there phone. The app keeps periodically forgetting some saved information, prompting for it again.
It is terrible that the app launchs Seamless+ Ads each time you add an item in the order and the ad needs to be manually dismissed. So annoying! The quality of app dived after introduction of S+.
When things go well, great. When things don't - when the food doesn't get delivered, or the delivery person gets lost watch out. They are singularly inept at fixing any problems, with the only "solution" they offer, with great fanfare, is a full refund. That's not a solution, that's a reset. I have no food and I have my money. That's where I was before I used your service. A solution is providing the service you sell. Get me my food. They literally can't do that for you. You have to reorder
There was this promo that was set to give a discount that I tried to take advantage of. I never received my order from the place and the way it was handled was I was refunded like $7, just to be given a promo code for 30% off of an order $25+, which is around $7-$8 off..so instead of my next potential order being what I should've paid before, I only get a discount for a fixed price. Personally, y'all are trash with how y'all handle these things, plus I'm a seamless+ member..istg, never again.
