Now that all games aren't broadcast locally, this is the only way to watch them without subscribing to a cable package. Except it's terrible. Doesn't turn off screen saver, like every other video app in existence, so you need to touch the screen constantly to keep it working. And you can't cast to a TV. It could work, but they won't allow it. We bought them a stadium with our taxes, part of the deal was to broadcast the games locally to those of us who paid those taxes, and they've reneged on it with the lousy app.
Unbelievably, you've f**ked up streaming 10 years after we've had the technology working. When it does work, the app doesn't go full screen so the phone will go to sleep while watching unless you keep a finger on the screen. Remarkably, free apps with 4 downloads have figured this out, but you've stolen defeat from the jaws of victory and produced an app that works worse than just reading the paper the next day. I hope someone was well compensated for pulling this app from the dumpster.
This app only half works. My dad and I have been trying to watch the game, and since we don't get cable TV, we tried this instead. If he even got the stream working, if he went to the home menu or his phone went into sleep mode, the app would never play a live game until it was reinstalled. Mine never pulled up the stream, just a blank white box. The only thing that actually works is the news tab and highlights. Also the stream does not keep the phone it's playing on from locking.
It has some serious design flaws. Stuff that should have been covered in UX 101. Non responsive buttons, views blocking touches etc. It is slightly better than it was in the past but still needs work. It has been the source of frustration for myself and many people I know. I don't like to discredit fellow developers but I would expect more from a NFL sponsored app.
Pertinent articles and coverage of the team and NFL updates!👍
If you're having issues listening to the game, like I was having, try uninstalling the app and reinstall it. It worked for me. Works great now.
Unreliable. Major bummer when you're trying to use the app to get into a game with digital tickets!
Keeps crashing on Surface Duo. Every time I try to open a story the app closes.
Downloaded this app to receive/ get tickets transferred from a friend. I was able to see them and had no issue with that. I logged off, then the next time i tried to log on it just gives me the loading screen for a few minutes then crashes. Now i have no clue how to access the tickets.
What is up with the game day streaming in this app? Seems like nearly every time the Hawks have the ball and are driving, streaming suddenly stops for a long commercial break. Right in the middle of action. And then it does it again when a normal game stoppage occurs. How much is enough? I've missed two scores this way
So much potential, but so much doesn't work properly. Crashes. Radio stream says out of market or keeps shutting off when it does work. Good luck using much of it in CenturyLink on game day. I only keep it in the off chance it works properly... I would be better off buying scratch tickets.
Bad. I kept getting multiple pop-ups, throughout the day, stating the app isn't working and that I only had 2 choices to continue: 1. Close the app 2. Send feedback. All I got from Support Services was a 'thank you' but they never fixed the problem!
Commercials are played over the radio call, leading to missed action. This is on top of the advertisements played during the normal radio broadcast. This double dipping makes it impossible to follow the game in a way that is truly enjoyable.
Love this app but I are wish you would make the notification sounds customizable. I hate that the notification sound is the default sound. Can't tell the difference between a text message or Seahawks scored.
Screen rotation when viewing tickets crashes or resets the app so you need to log back in. Not great when there is a huge line behind you. Adding tickets to gpay wallet does not work although the app thinks it worked. Only reason to use the app is because it is required to go to games.
I can never play a full video on the app. It starts out pixelated, then it clears up, then the video stops. Happens every time I want to watch any video.
The information on the Seattle seahawks is quite exciting to me.
Mobile ticket access needs more bandwidth! Hey Seahawks: if you want 81,000 people to have to *all pull their tickets up live on their phones at the same time* (or at least within 15 munutes of each other), *you need to make sure there is enough bandwidth outside the stadium*!! The entry lines at Centurylink have been slow lately because it can take up to 3 minutes for the App to load the new 'live' tickets. What a dork-up...
I have been a fan of the Seahawks since day "ONE^ when they use too play in the King Dome, then in Husky Stadium for one year while the Centry Link was being built. I LOVE the Seahawks and forever will be one of the 12.
