It seems like the first open never loads so I have to close it and reopen it to get it going correctly. I've gotten used to it so it's become routine, but it probably shouldn't have to be this way. Also, every few weeks or so I'll get an error whenever I try to pay via the app. It seems like reinstalling the app gets rid of the issue, although it's probably actually that I need to update the app but I forget I'm the moment and uninstall/reinstall. Other than that the app does what it should.

I downloaded this app to my phone. I can't get through the setup. Password requires 8 characters, 1 number, 1 capital... but no combination gets me anything but a red underline. No help. There is no indication of what might be in error. Screw it. I'll stay with Esso! Update... It seems that password requirement includes all of the above, PLUS an alternate character. That part of the instruction is beyond the display, and you cannot scroll to find it. 🙄

Great app. Awesome for when you're filling up on the go or in a rush at a gas station. Plus the collect the points on your air miles and get shell features. The only concern with it is is when you go to multiple sites on a road trip or going to different locations, it's sometimes is not allow you to use the app. Just user preference or attempts

This app worked great for about 6 months then I added a new credit card and it went from easy to frustrating. It now doesn't work at all. I added 2 new credit cards and both will not work for payment in the app. I even added a card which used to work and it no longer works. App is now completely useless. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and cleared the cache. Called support to no avail. Support was actually arrogant and completely unhelpful. From 5 stars to 1 star in 6 months.

This app is 100% trash. It doesn't save my rewards when I use the service, it also never works when I try to use it and always have some technical issues. I am also disappointed that my settings are never saved because the pay feature is not everywhere and when I proactive search to see the shell stations, the filters always revert back to ALL stations. Was nice in the beginning to have all receipts together, but not super user friendly and no longer worth it. Delete.

Don't usually write reviews but this is an awful app. Worked once then rejected all payment methods after that and wouldn't allow different ones. Says contact support but for that you have to search on their website. Once I found a support number waited on hold for an hour a finally gave up. Tried again the next day and did get through to a friendly agent but she wasn't able to get it working and created a ticket for tech team. Received an email that ticket was created and that's been it.

It will be a must have app if worked without problems. First time I tried it worked fine. Absolutely no luck after, tried many times. Cant complete the transaction. My Google pay works everywhere else. Used the same credit card. Something is not right with the app. Last tried Location:5 great lakes, Brampton, Time:midnight. Dec 12. Tried again today in hope of improvements. Gave 2 stars last time but I think it deserves an uninstall. Wont take visa credit.

Horrible app in general. Seldom works effectively. Rarely ever displays fill-ups as though I've never even used a Shell station. I've tried countless times to link my checking account with no luck whatsoever. Screens buffer/load until the end of time when I know my service is exceptional.

Awful app. Cannot add any payment option which defeats the entire purpose of this app. It used to be solid but now it's garbage. I have logged out, uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Additionally there is no way to contact a physical person for customer support. No email address or phone number is provided. All the oil industry wants is your $. Everything else be damned.

Everything loads fine, I have my payment done and click pay, it always fails!! Everytime! I have tried putting in different payment methods, changing the amount of fuel I'm getting in 1 transaction, nothing works. The rewards would be nice, but at this point, it's not worth sitting at the gas station hoping it actually works.

Keeps getting "no internet connection" error message when not at a gas station. No indication on which location-specific car was code has been used. And the fact that it can't be accessed inside the Android Auto launcher is a huge missed opportunity.

So far it's a terrible experience. It lags for long time then times out. When linking my airmiles it asks for a pin (not sure what pin this is) and then when you click forgot pin you get an error page. So far I am unimpressed and don't feel safe adding any personal information. If anyone has any tips to get this to work please let me know. (Samsung galaxy a71)

Useless app!!!! Couldn't log in as I had to change my password several times. It wouldn't even let me register an account. Came back "ERROR" or invalid password. I'm not dealing with customer service after reading other people's experiences Funny their last update states they've improved things. HA, HA, HA 🤥

Clean interface but adding payment method/membership plans is unreliable (added my CAA and didn't get a discount, even though the app gave me the "Success!" acknowledgment). Adding payments also doesn't give you a confirmation (giving the impression that the card you added didn't actually get saved).

App is total garbage. First time I use it, the payment was declined. Checked all my information to verify it is correct. All of it was entered as it should be. Went to the 7-11 down the road and got gas with the same card for a better price. Absolutely will not trust She'll again.

Won't let me add additional credit cards, keeps saying can't add any more cards at this time try again later. Highly inconvenient, easier to just swipe cards at the pump. Update: Did finally allow me to add other credit cards for payment, I'll give the app a chance.

It's nice I can pay with the app but the receipt it gives sucks and doesn't offer a traditional recipeat the pump if you do. It's not itemized. Shows $0.00 for taxes and doesn't break down the price per gallon. Not useful at all.

Can't even sign up. Newly downloaded app, get to step 2 of sign up and app crashes everytime. I am certain Shell could allocated a bigger budget to developing this app. It's pretty basic really. Update. Bought a new phone and now I can use the app as intended. Must be an OS thing.

Codes can't be entered until car inside is leaving so NO time to run inside if code/app doesn't work! Driver has to back us all up to let them out. How dumb is that! Happens ALL the time! CHANGE IT! Wife gets VERY anxious using your washes and now uses Esso. Also, zero instructions for phone settings to use app. Bluetooth, data, location etc. Terrible!

When app is working correctly it is great. I like the convenience of the pay at the pump feature being on my phone, but half of the time (like this morning!) it doesn't work. So much quicker than having to use 2 cards at the pump.

I cannot get Shell US & Canada app to work! It will not let me sign up using my Fuel Rewards account and that is the only option using my e-mail address. I have been using Fuel Rewards for a number of years and it still works great, however, the gas station I use most often switched from Fuel Rewards to the Shell app. I know my e-mail and password for Fuel Rewards is correct, but the Shell app keeps telling me that my credentials are invalid. I would rate the app as "zero" because it deserves no star at all.

I used the Shell mobile app to pay for my fuel purchase. I did not know that by using the app to pay, even if I used my attached debit card which is the same as cash, I wasn't able to receive 3 cents off per litre. If I would have known this ahead of time, I would have just went inside and paid because at least then I can get 3 cents off per litre. I WILL BE REMOVING THE SHELL APP FROM MY PHONE!!! USELESS AS IT IS and of no benefit to me!

Back to Esso I go This app used to work and now a bunch of my payment methods do work anymore. Triee using GooglePay and individual cards. Oh well. Shell's loss is Esso's gain. I don't have time to figure out what is wrong with an app. It either works as described or it doesn't and this one doesn't.

Unable to add new credit card info. Verication code not received to new updated cellphone number. After many calls to customer service which confirms that my new number is updated and after uninstalling and reinstalling the Shell app, the verification code is still not received, thus I am not able to add new credit card to the app. Verification code is absolutely not necessary in this case. EasyPay is not that easy at all ! You need to remove the requirement for verification code.

Amazing! I found this app through my air miles app. The ability to just pull up put your pump number in and within seconds you can fill up is super convenient. If I could I'd give it 10 stars. Same with the app telling you locations and services these locations have. You all nailed it!

Got to gasstation. Used app to pay and got confirmation to start filling. Filled up and left station. Ownr runs after me saying I tried to steal gas. I went to show him my phone receipt and it said th transaction was canceled. This is the second time this happens and the second time I can't get the airlines reward points because it looks as if I paid in store instead of with app.

Customer and store personnel are awesome. Have been using app for two years. Recently, the app had issues and the rep told me to submit uninstall/reinstall. It worked perfectly. UI/UX is very good and simple. Paired with Fuel Rewards and T-Mobile Tuesday apps are great in saving money.

Much improved pay at the pump experience with the new app, although there are still Shell stations out there that don't accept it or where it doesn't work, so still occasionally lets you down. Overall worth it though.

Long story short, while waiting on my new bank cards to arrive I am onlyable to use my temp which is virtual, meaning I can only pay via app. Created account, used "Pay at Pump" twice and even received 10% cash back. However, it hasnt woeked a single time since then. Happened to be in the middle of nowhere with my child when the app decided to glitch. Couldn't pay at pump or inside station with app, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. Luckily I was able to download Valero app, which is also trash.

Update* April 2022 Changed phones after using it a few times successfully. When I try to log in again on my new phone, I am advised that I'm logging in from the wrong country. Contacted support who advised that my email is register to the UK and their only resolution is to create a new account with a new email. My air miles and car account are tied to this email. I asked if they could reset the account on the back end and their responses are not timely. Still unresolved after a week
