ShipCSX
The ShipCSX mobile application provides customers anywhere/anytime access to updates on the status of their rail shipments from an Android phone. Customers can retrieve up-to-date information about their shipments using Railcar Trace, Train Trace, and Equipment Specifications (UMLER), or send information to CSX using Shipping Instructions, View Inventory, and Plant Switch.
ShipCSX Mobile is designed with our supply-chain and logistics conscious business customers in mind. For security reasons, only authenticated CSX customers can access shipment information through the application.

Haven't been able to use x-gate for months, it's been stuck on "oops something went wrong, try again" and can't get anywhere. Have uninstalled it and re installed it to no avail. Called CSX troubleshooting team and they can't figure it out either. Don't know what else to do! HELP!!!
Overall the app is pretty sweet I wish that you could change your mission when you are in the rail due to having issues with another container or chassis and I wish you could use it when you were moving because a lot of times we don't have the time to sit still but I get this for a safety feature but that's probably the most ridiculous part about it
Works really well! improved over the past 2 months. Last feature needed is to be able to locate and determine if container is on a chassis, train, or ground before arriving to terminal. That way drivers can be updated on the task at hand and be scheduled for a better pickup time.
Everytime I log on, it loads an outgate screen with a container I took out last week. Now I can't use the app anymore cause I can't change the container number and there is no back button. Uninstalling and reinstalling did nothing. Tried calling support, no help.
If a driver ingates with the app and the outgate gets submitted with incorrect info or gets changed post outdated data has been entered, there is no way to back out and correct unless I bobtail out, DA clears the app and I ingate back in as a bobtail. This needs to be corrected to be able back up in the app.
Worst App ever for speed and reliability. No way to know the status of equipment. Can't edit or delete missions. Must always turn around and exit just to change a mission. Just horrible.
It worked better before the last update. I use the biometric and it kicks me out saying wrong user name. I have to close the app out at 2x before it allows me to log in. It freezes a lot at the kiosk and have to close it out and log back in to complete my mission.
When it works, it's awesome. Needs the ability to edit/change planned outgates. Assignments change and I shouldn't have to go to driver assistance to change what I'm picking up.
Its tends to fade out after a minute or 2 and the info goes away. Have to input info all over again. It's a good option for getting in and out though
Need to fix bar code on app! If you're waiting in line and screen goes dark, when you bring it back up, bar code is gone! Then you have to close app and log back in! Should not be that hard to keep code open!
No way to cancel your mission or edit it???? Who made this app and why hasn't it been fixed. I thought I was gonna bobtail out but dispatch asked to pick up a box for tomorrow. So I had to bobtail out, loop around and start all over ingating with the app. It clutters up the in and out GATESSSSS
This app and system needs work. You should be able to tell if the load is on a chassis before you enter the terminal and you should be able to cancel the transaction at anytime before you exit the terminal with the load. NS has an app that is way better and user friendly.
over all a good work tool app. Does need some dumb fixes like the scan code box vanishing, resutling in a force restart of the phone in order to fix it. ofher wise its handy.
Times you out, jams up booking numbers, doesn't let you edit missions once you're locked in. Not faster than Bedford Park ssk.
It needs alot of improvement. The biggest problem is you can't go back and edit for outgate while you inside the rail. It's useless in my opinion!
excellent app, App will not let you in her without a linked ingrate and outgate, if you bobtail in, it will not let you bobtail out if your assignment has been canceled and you have to bobtail out.
The app will not let me log in. Keeps saying my session has timed out due to inactivity.. just suddenly happend in the middle of my work day... I even tried to Uninstall and reinstall it... didn't work...
After I outgate with app, I press done and goes to home screen then when I open app again to ingate the old barcode shows up and I can no longer use the app because I cannot get rid of the barcode.
Why does a driver need to keep putting in their password? Also CSX offers little, if any tech support. Personnel at driver's assistance are clueless when it comes to resolving app issues.
Very very very poor app. They need a 24 IT department to keep the apo going well and keep drivers moving which will keep their rail yards from being backed up, and over crowded.
Works ok but. Please answer 3 quesrions. What is the benefit of forcing portrait mode so I can't turn my tablet to read it? 2 what is the benefit of not allowing me to zoon my scteen so i can tead the tiny text? What is with the 'save' function that doesn't do anything?
Works great and easy to navigate. I wish it synced/uploaded my shipping templates from my online profile.
I don't know that it is any faster than just keying the info into the kiosk. Bedford Park yard only has one kiosk in and 2 out for the app. If you use the app to enter, you have to use it to exit also. None of the other kiosks can scan the bar code. I learned that the hard way.
