shopkick: Rewards & Deals

I love the Shopkick app. Not complicated, easy to use. Some suggestions when you have items left to scan bring them to the forefront of the category. Or be able to highlight them somehow. I'm basically a scanner and sometimes some get missed because theres no way to separate them from the unscanned. Other than that i really do enjoy using it and later reaping the benefits of my points!

This app used to be great, but every "improvement" makes it worse. A large percentage of items aren't recognized by the scanner, items disappear within five minutes so what you purchased is gone by the time you check out and you can't get kicks. Walk-in kicks rarely work now. And the most recent change is the worst - if you miss an item, there's no way to fix it. Every other app like this lets you resubmit the receipt for basic human error. Five years ago I would have given this five stars.

Wonderful, simple, rewarding app. One issue: when you shop online and get to 'Review Order,' it's blank. I cannot confirm my order. I've updated the app, got out tried again, remove item tried again...it's a blank screen. This happens occasionally, but very annoying...tryna get a good sale before it's done (inflation).

I gave 4 stars because when I'm in the discover section, I see repeat videos to watch, plus no points for most of them. When I first got the app, I was getting points left and right for a lot of the videos. Now, it's only 1, maybe 2 or 3, and then only 1 or 3 points. Suggestion - once a video is watched, then let it show viewed stay showing as viewed.

I like most of what this app provides, the drawbacks are as follows: 1) Sometimes it's slow to scan an item, even when my internet connection is solid. 2) Some items fail to scan, even though I made sure that its the right product and edition. 3) Some places which give you walk-in points fail..like Marshall's or TJ Max. I have submitted tickets for these but they never seem to fix 'em. 4) Unless you submit receipts, then it takes forever in order to accumulate enough points to get rewarded.

I really like this app! But I have been having more and more problems in the last few months. One of the problems is the walk in kicks don't always work. I have gone into TJMaxx at least 5 times in the last 5 months and no matter what I've tried it won't register that I'm there. I have reported a problem everytime and nothing has changed. I will also go into the app with full service bars on my phone and it will be as slow as molasses and at times not even fully open. I hope they fix the issues!

I LOVE the customer service. They are always friendly & fast at responding and resolving the issues. I love how easy it is to save extra money. The app could be better. Sometimes it takes a while for the receipts to process. I also wish the expiration date of the offers are seen when you click on it. There are several times when I want to purchase a product because I see that it offers a high amount of kicks, but when I go to redeem it, the amount has changed. So the kicks aren't always synced.

I enjoyed the app, but lately all I'm having are issues. I have issues getting walk in points, half the time I try to scan items it won't or tells it can't find the item, and now a receipt I tried to get points from keeps telling me it already saw it even though I have yet to be awarded the points since it was never saved because the app crashed when I tried to upload the image and it was on 4/1 and now it's the end of 4/4. I tried to contact someone, but still haven't had a respons.

If you've got time to kill or are doing your monthly shopping for personal or household essentials, this is your app. Points are easy to rack up and the reward options are excellent! This app has put gas in my car when money was tight many times! Fastest way to earn is to upload receipts with items listed. And surprise!!! They're normal everyday brand items. Not just the expensive stuff. I'll never get rid of this app.

app isn't showing anything for me. shows a loading screen and either gets stuck on that or goes blank after a moment. I've used this app before years ago and wanted to try it out again so this was a little dissapointing. I tried unintalling and reinstalling it, disconnecting from wifi and using data and it just won't load anything :/

I have always enjoyed shopkicks,ever since I installed the app. Until now the app is running slow. I can't get my walk-in kicks from any store. The items I try to scan that shows I can receive kicks for, that item will give me kicks and says already been scanned and I haven't. Also when I report the problem it doesn't get fixed. Also if I do a survey and I mark the places O like to shop or what type of items I look for it never changes

Shopkick is cool in the beginning, but it becomes more tiring cause its always the same items and some kicks are not earned. The walkins use to work for me, but now I don't even get the kicks for them anymore. Sometimes the app is overloaded and it doesn't scan properly. Also, there be items like the degree men's soap bar which I don't have in my walmart. Overall, it is an okay app but it needs more variety of stores and items to scan.

Long time user. I loved the app until recently. You did an update, making it so when we get a kick in the discover section it now vibrates. You've made this vibration unstoppable. No setting in the phone or with the app will stop it from vibrating. I've tried it all. I hate vibrate, I don't use it for anything. We have enough things that kill the phones battery, I use it for work & have kids, I need it to last without using a portable charger as long as possible. It's very unnecessary!

I have been using shopkicks for years and it's definitely not the same as it was before. I don't know why now they aren't having the points to watch a few videos . I would open the app daily and watch the 3-5 videos to gain points , now when I open the app a black box opens as if a video will load then in a few seconds it disappears.... This app used to be one of my favorites and now I hardly ever open it

Waste of my time! App says it can't verify my cell number. I've never experienced anything like this with other rebate apps and if Ibotta and Fetch can verify my number so should you all. It would be wise for your app to verify phone numbers during the initial sign up when requesting name, email, and etc. If that was the case, I would have deleted the app and moved on and never would have submitted any receipts. Now, they're saying "sorry" and keeping my money.

I used to love this app. I earned about $100 in Disney gift cards throughout my years of using it. But after some updates, it really failed me. Now kick points that I've earned just disappear. When I reach out to support about issues, they are no help whatsoever. I will be deleting this app and moving on to a competitor.

Overall easy to use app. Issues with walk in kicks and you dont get reimbursed for walk ins even when you report it didn't work. Also issues with many in store scans saying 'you have already scanned this item today' even if you haven't scanned item that day or even at all. There needs to be a way to report those issues/errors as well so we can get the points we should be earning. Please fix your systems so this app works smoothly.

The main issue I've had with this app is with walk ins. TJ Maxx and Marshalls are usually the highest in walk ins and those two never work. Walk in Walmart and the app will allow a few scans. The app cuts me off after 2 or 3 items and says try again later. I restart my phone, check for updates. App refuses to work anywhere after that. Annoying. May 21st.worked just fine at Target. Again, won't work at TJ Max. May 22nd. Walmart - shopkicks allows a few scans then freezes " try again later"

I re-download this app after previously having it on an older phone and I have to say my experience thus far has been horrible. Walk-in kicks don't work, I can't link a card because it says my phone number is already in use (and it is, to the same account I'm logged into) and today I tried to submit my first receipt and the system is claiming they've already seen that receipt before. Customer support has also not gotten back to me, so I suppose an uninstall is in order.

This use to be a great app but it has really gotten a lot of problems. I have seen that android users have a harder time collecting walk in points. TJ MAXX and their other franchise points don't work. The walk in points for the TJX franchise stopped working 2 years ago. Other companies are 50/50 if you will receive your points. The only companies that work is Target and Wal-Mart. I feel like have been robbed so many points because it was not working.

Loved it until lately. Ongoing issues of saying a receipt has already been submitted when it wasn't, or saying items aren't on the receipt that are clearly on the receipt. Also not getting walk in kicks for at least 2 weeks, it keeps telling me that I have 30 minutes to find stronger signal. And no way I can find to report issues besides doing this. Most other apps have a "report problem" feature. Might consider doing that, Shopkick.

The videos hardly ever play. Most stores do not recognize the walk in kicks. I have put in more than 1 issue report. Nothing is ever done.... its a waste of your time Update: March 2022, the new upgrade is simply awful. The videos are almost impossible to get to. I have to keep closing the app and opening it back up. Ugh.

I've been a shopkicker for years and years. It's amazing. By far the best rewards app. Scans/walk-in points are easy, gift card redemption is quick, and there are a lot of options in their rewards store(atm-Target, Walmart, PayPal, Amazon, Starbucks, Dunkin, Chipotle, and Disney are just some of the gift card options. Or, if you're really ambitious-the top reward is a Vespa!) They're never out of stock. Kicks required for redemption are low. Issues are easy to report. Very happy user.

Love the app and have been using for many years, but recent updates have caused what other Shopkickers have experienced. Marshalls and TJ Maxx walkins no longer work. The Shopkick Beacon detecting doesn't show any working at these stores. I have reported this to Shopkick and was suggested to uninstall and reinstall the app, which has been done on numerous occaisions. If the app isn't working correctly, reinstalling the same broken features, doesn't solve the problem. Please look into this!

I have really enjoyed this app for a few years now. But recently I have trouble being able to scan items at stores other than Walmart. And also as of today, I can't seem to log in to my account even after restarting my phone clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Please help.
